Multi Column Select List in Workflow Manager
The new Multi Column Select Lists in 6.9 are nice. However you can not use them in the Workflow Manager. This should be available within workflow manager.
Thank you for your contribution.
Your idea is available with version 7.2.

Are there any notes on how to use this?

We've had two new clients over the last year that need this idea implemented. They love having the multi-column select list in the store dialog but the fact that we can't also use it in their workflows mean that their users are now able to select invalid values from the select lists so we've had to build complex data validation routines into the workflow. If we could dynamically generate select lists as part of the workflow the problem would be solved but we also can't do that (though the ability to assign the new user group variable in workflow to a select list would solve it the problem, too).

Hi
All our customers quite frustrated they can't use filtered select lists in Workflow Task Form same way they doing it in Edit Index Fields dialog.
It's not intuitive when instead of to do all required things in Workflow Manager they're forced to go to edit Document Fields to get filtered select list functionality. -

this would be great. I'm currently having to build workflows with a lot of data validation steps because when a user is storing a document we can filter the available values in select lists so they can only pick valid options for them but once a document is in a workflow those same select lists are completely unfiltered so the user can pick invalid values.
And of course this is forward-facing to the client so to them it looks like an incomplete implementation of an idea, which of course it is. The feature is available in the store dialogs but not in the workflow.

This is a major need for many customers ; how do you manage manual further assignement of tasks without it ?
1000 users divided in 10 Entities, themselves divided in 10 services would be way more readable this way than by scrolling through the whole list. Please consider focusing on this topic.
Regards.

We can use a WF variable filled with external data
Now I want to use a keyword field in a form and dynamically prefill the select list of this field with external data(Our customer wants a dynamic select list in the workflow , depending of some index of the document - like the filtered select lists introduced in 6.9 in the store dialog).
