  1. Restore the ability to do an "OR" search in the web client when searching more than one index

    The windows client had radio buttons for "And" and "OR" on the search dialog when entering values on more than one index. Example: Email file cabinet has a To index and a From index. I want to search for emails To or From an individual.

  2. Intelligent Indexing & Select Lists

    Intelligent Indexing and Select Lists needs to be linked in some way.

    Currently when using intelligent indexing with something like Supplier Name as a select List only field it will pick up the customer name from the invoice but not match this name to the name in the select list. This then stops us from being able to store the document automatically.

    If the field is a select list only field, some way on linking the customer names to what Intel Index finds would be great.

  3. Stamp locations

    My idea would be to have the option with Tasklist to be able to set a specific location on a document for the a stamp to be placed automatically. Individual stamp configuration would be idea. Mobile clients don't seem to be able to get the stamp in the same spot as the web client.

  4. Add ability in DocuWare Tasks and WorkFlow to create a task without having a document already created.

    Sometimes users need to be assigned a task to do a specific function such as create documents. Currently, a user would need to create a document to request a new task to create a new document. Once the task has been submitted and workflow started the original "request" document is not needed or useful.

    Adding the ability to Create a task that includes data fields that are customizable by administrators and for specific users to see would solve many issues. I envision that there would be a button under tasks that would say Create a task and based on the…

    You can accomplish this currently by creating a database entry from a document tray. Just unselect all documents and the store button will be a “Create database entry” button. Then enter index entries that would trigger a workflow. The workflow will just start like with a document and you have the possibility to add a document at any later time.

  5. Save search criteria in multi cabinet saved searches

    It would be helpful for a user/administrator to be able to save search criteria in multi-cabinet saved searches/task list.

  6. Color coding or flagging items in the Task List for higher priorities

    It would be nice if we had the ability to either color code or flag items in the task list if they have a higher priority than others. This would make them more noticeable for the people working the lists and not allow them to get lost in the mass amounts of work to be done.

  7. Store and seach dialog

    I suggest you make store and seach dialogs possible to copy to other file cabinets, because the prosses with ordering the fields is MASSIVE! If you have 50 Field for example, all the pressing on left mouse key is hurting my finger ;)

  8. Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type

    It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values? I mostly think users would like to uncheck the File Name field and…

    Stamping of multiple documents/pages were available in the Windows client. We have a customer with a urgent need for this feature in the web client after using this in the Windows client

  10. Have field filled with substring or concatenation of other field

    Hello,
    It could be nice if we can extract a substring of a field to fill another field. I.E.: Invoice has a date as an index. Have the possibility to create 2 index (year and month) for extracting the year and the month. This two new fields could be use in the Windows Explorer view to group invoice by year and month for example.
    It could be substring or the concactenation of several fields.

  11. Hyperlink Page of Document in DocuWare Web Client

    It would be nice to be able to link any page of a document in DocuWare web client to a website. For example, if you are attaching a tracking page from ups.com, it would be nice to click on that page and pull up the same information on ups.com.

  13. Improve the ability to find documents after a name change has occurred.

    When a vendor or client has a name change, we would like to be able to retrieve the documents that are indexed with the old name, using the new name.
    For instance, Company is ABC and there are 100 documents indexed using ABC as the index in the Client Name field. Company ABC has a name change to company XYZ. When retrieving a document using XYZ, it should also retrieve the documents indexed as ABC.

  14. UTC Time Stamp VS. Actual Time Zone

    We have a client that handles claim records and they just noticed that the time stamps are all recorded as UTC. While we understand that UTC is universally suitable, there are times where actual time stamps are required. It would be beneficial if there was a built-in time zone offset in the administration console to record time stamps based on a specific time zone or utilize the server time.

  15. I suggest to extend the color indicators by fill levels

    Documents and index fields are marked with a color indicator that is either gree, yellow or red. This color represents how confident the service is for a proposed index value.

    The color green actually represents a confidence range between 75% and 100% - there is no difference visible: 76% as well as 95% result in a green indicator.

    The idea is to extend the color indicators by fill levels (as known i.e. from the battery status of a mobile phone), which would allow to distinguish the originating confidence between same-colored index fields and/or documents.

  17. Be able to set a folder dialog for documents in a tray

    A folder dialog is simply a method of viewing whats already there but sorting it in a pre-defined way. We can already sort a tray with very limited options so why can't we set up a folder dialog to show documents in a tray in a certain format? Or at the very least give us the capability to set our own custom filtering options.

  18. Numerical Fields have a Value Limit

    The numerical fields have a limit of 2,147,483,647 and -2,147,483,647, so when you try to make an entry with a higher value, you get an error. When this is converted to currency, then limit becomes 21,474,836.47 and -21,474,836.47, so multi-million (dollar) transactions can not be recorded.
    My request is to have this limit increased.

  19. Clipping from an external file cabinet

    We have a file cabinet, Job Tracking, whose documents are packets that develop as manufacturing occurs. For example, templates are clipped at different general tasks in the workflow.

    It would be great to keep the templates in another FC and be able to clip them in from there.

    REQUEST:
    Create the ability to clip a document from one file cabinet to a document in another FC.

  20. need to be able to export multi-page tiff's

    The windows client gave us the ability to export dwtiff's as multi-page tiff's. We still have some customers who cannot be upgraded past DW 6.7 because of the need to export dwtiff's out of DocuWare to write to micro-film to meet state requirements.

    Currently if dwtiff's are downloaded, each document becomes a separate zip file with all of the individual dwtiff's inside of it. Please bring back this feature to the web client.

    Using DocuWare's API functions in the same way.
