  1. bring back the ability to copy search results and paste into Excel

    We had this feature in our previous version of Docuware. We recently upgraded to 6.6 and lost this feature. It's handy for reporting.

  2. Intelligent Indexing & Select Lists

    Intelligent Indexing and Select Lists needs to be linked in some way.

    Currently when using intelligent indexing with something like Supplier Name as a select List only field it will pick up the customer name from the invoice but not match this name to the name in the select list. This then stops us from being able to store the document automatically.

    If the field is a select list only field, some way on linking the customer names to what Intel Index finds would be great.

  5. Stamp locations

    My idea would be to have the option with Tasklist to be able to set a specific location on a document for the a stamp to be placed automatically. Individual stamp configuration would be idea. Mobile clients don't seem to be able to get the stamp in the same spot as the web client.

  6. Store and seach dialog

    I suggest you make store and seach dialogs possible to copy to other file cabinets, because the prosses with ordering the fields is MASSIVE! If you have 50 Field for example, all the pressing on left mouse key is hurting my finger ;)

  7. Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type

    It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values?   8. Enable on Webclient enhanced search for booleans (and, or) option that works with two o more fields

    If you have to search for example field name=Jhon or lastname=Dhoe is not possible on Webclient because always search using AND.

  9. Have more field to set up user. I.E. : Service or Departement

    Hello,
    It could be nice if we can have more field for the user setting, for example to set Service Or Department attached to the user.
    For example it could be usefull to filter tasklist.
    Today, when users create document, they can set up the department or service (if I have create such index of course). In the tasklist, I can filter the task by this index, but that's mean that I have to create as tasklist that I have service or department (not very usefull to support).

  10. Have field filled with substring or concatenation of other field

    Hello,
    It could be nice if we can extract a substring of a field to fill another field. I.E.: Invoice has a date as an index. Have the possibility to create 2 index (year and month) for extracting the year and the month. This two new fields could be use in the Windows Explorer view to group invoice by year and month for example.
    It could be substring or the concactenation of several fields.

  11. Color coding or flagging items in the Task List for higher priorities

    It would be nice if we had the ability to either color code or flag items in the task list if they have a higher priority than others. This would make them more noticeable for the people working the lists and not allow them to get lost in the mass amounts of work to be done.

  15. Index image file properties

    It would be great to be able to index the file properties of image (or all) files. This will allow our clients to store image files with properties coming from the camera or publishing apps and be able to search them through the Full Text search.

  16. A store dialog with only pre-indexing option in Web Client

    A store dialog with only pre-indexing option is not working when you try to use this dialog with a document in the web basket.
    this option was available with previous releases 5.1 C SP1&SP2,
    We would like to see this feature returned starting v6.1 and above
    To figure out the need of this option,this is an example of production environment:
    Employees of claims department are preparing the pre-indexing documents in the web baskets and store later to the file cabinet when the claim is closed

  17. Improve the ability to find documents after a name change has occurred.

    When a vendor or client has a name change, we would like to be able to retrieve the documents that are indexed with the old name, using the new name.
    For instance, Company is ABC and there are 100 documents indexed using ABC as the index in the Client Name field. Company ABC has a name change to company XYZ. When retrieving a document using XYZ, it should also retrieve the documents indexed as ABC.

  18. Restore the ability to drag and drop documents and unstapled pages to reorder them in the web basket

    The last upgrade (Build: 6.5.0.5819) seriously diminished the functionality of the web basket. Please restore the ability to drag and drop pages so that they may be reordered in the web basket. If you split apart a document that has more than, say, 10 pages, it would be very cumbersome to reorder some of the pages in the middle of the document using the order of selection approach. The same holds true if you need to merge the pages of one unstapled document with another. If the documents are more than several pages, you will have to do a lot…

  19. Printing database information from webclient

    The administration allow to define a header to be printed with database information. But this only works with Windows Client. In 6.5 only webviewer is available and working with document from URL or Webservice or other cause to display them always in Web Client. It is urgent that this functionnality become available in web environment.
