Web Basket Recycle Bin
The Windows client had a trash can that would save documents deleted from a basket. Can you implement a web basket recycle bin that would act as a failsafe for the user?
Thank you for your contribution. Your idea is available with version 7.8.

This is still a very popular idea in 2021. Please develop it.

We utilize the Transfer function along with a stamp to create a recycle bin. Documents that get stamped are transferred to a separate file cabinet where they are retained and can be recovered at any time. While this works, we feel that the functionality should be baked into the software and not something that has to be built ad-hoc.

Hello, why don't you manage it with index values ? This is a request I get very often with all my customers, and a simple stamp "deleted" does the job.
When applied, the status index value changes to "to be deleted", and only an administrator and the person that requested the deletion can see the document before it gets definitely deleted through a Deletion Policy (that deletes every document for which status has changed, status is equal to "to be deleted", and modification date was before the last x month). -

An Undo Button would be great. I've had instances where I wanted to select and delete a document but had a computer or mouse failure and did not select that one but all documents that were stapled and deleted them. Those documents were thrown away shortly after scanning into DocuWare. I really needed those documents.

I use it in case I print something and then miss a page or accidentally spoil it. I can go back into the trash can, pull it up and reprint it. Now I have to entirely reproduce the work, re-stamp it and then print it again, doubling the time it takes to complete the assignment.

Wow! What a program. Delete with no recovery. That is a great idea. What could possibly go wrong?

As an ADP, every customer who has moved to 6.5 and 6.6 web client ask to get the recycle bin back.
