Web Basket Recycle Bin
The Windows client had a trash can that would save documents deleted from a basket. Can you implement a web basket recycle bin that would act as a failsafe for the user?
Thank you for your idea.
We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

This is still a very popular idea in 2021. Please develop it.

We utilize the Transfer function along with a stamp to create a recycle bin. Documents that get stamped are transferred to a separate file cabinet where they are retained and can be recovered at any time. While this works, we feel that the functionality should be baked into the software and not something that has to be built ad-hoc.

Hello, why don't you manage it with index values ? This is a request I get very often with all my customers, and a simple stamp "deleted" does the job.
When applied, the status index value changes to "to be deleted", and only an administrator and the person that requested the deletion can see the document before it gets definitely deleted through a Deletion Policy (that deletes every document for which status has changed, status is equal to "to be deleted", and modification date was before the last x month).
An Undo Button would be great. I've had instances where I wanted to select and delete a document but had a computer or mouse failure and did not select that one but all documents that were stapled and deleted them. Those documents were thrown away shortly after scanning into DocuWare. I really needed those documents.
So I take it there is no way to retrieve a deleted file? REALLY I thought once on the computer always on the computer. Please let me know if there is a way!!!
Please bring back recycle bin when documents are deleted from a tray. Thank you.
Please add this feature immediately! Thank you!

I've accidently deleted some documents from one basket, and now how to recover???
The old Windows Client let me recover them!!!
I use it in case I print something and then miss a page or accidentally spoil it. I can go back into the trash can, pull it up and reprint it. Now I have to entirely reproduce the work, re-stamp it and then print it again, doubling the time it takes to complete the assignment.

Wow! What a program. Delete with no recovery. That is a great idea. What could possibly go wrong?
As an ADP, every customer who has moved to 6.5 and 6.6 web client ask to get the recycle bin back.
