the ability to create (filtered) webform select lists based roles and groups
we can curently use the fixed user list, but it would be nice if we can select a user based on the group or role they are connected to

Possibility to give saved form a custom (dynamic) file name
At the moment there is no easy way to give saved forms an unique file name. It would be good to have a possibility to fill in a custom file name, with a possibility to use dynamic entries, such as timestamps.

ability to export merge form
Sometimes the source file of a merge form needs to be edited. If the original source file is missing, there is no way to export it from the merge form section.
Add the ability to export (download) the source file from the Merge form section.

Form - Sizing fields
Some fields only allows to adjust the width, would be nice to overwrite the size of a box by moving the box size up and down

Workflow form validation with web service
When forms are complex, with many fields which requires cross check and external databases lookup, the validation is not achievable with a single condition.
Having the ability to call a REST or SOAP web service to perform validation (as in store dialogs), would greatly increase the application usability.2 votes -

Add HTML support to forms fixed text element
Add HTML support to forms fixed text element, such as bullets. Text can be formatted in Word but most of the formatting is lost when the text is pasted into the editor.

Add an option to allow published forms to be hidden from the Webclient.
This would allow the administrator to choose which forms can be published to the GUI and other forms that the user's must know the URL for. This is an issue for some of our customers who have a lot of public forms, but they also have departmental forms mixed in. If those public forms could be hidden from the GUI, it would make the forms list from the web client easier to use.

option to choose font and force capitalisation on form entries
Ability to choose the font that is used within a field/text entry, also the ability to force capitalisation, for example if people are entering Vehicle registration numbers, serial numbers etc, so we dont have to rely on the end user to whack caps lock on.

Ability to total/put formulas in forms
If we cannot get the table field in forms, could we have the ability to perform basic totaling/other formulas in forms? I would like people who put in multiple amounts to have the double check that the amount totals.

Please make it easy to change a checkbox to a multiple choice in forms
When working with forms there is the option for a checkbox and the option for multiple choice. Currently if you use one and then want to change it you have to delete it and start over. It would be nice if you could use the same thing for both with a checkbox option for only allow 1 answer or allow multiple answers.

allow multiple form fields to be indexed in the same keyword index field
I would like to be able to index multiple form fields in the same keyword index field. I have a form with a list of choices in a checkbox field. One of those checkboxes is "Other" When other is selected I have another field come up so that the user can enter their own choice. I would like to index that as well in the keyword field.

Add Refersh Button to new Forms section in DW 7.3
New Forms section on DW 7.3 is missing Refresh button in bottom left corner like we can find in Document Trays, Search, List and Tasks section. The only way to display newly assigned Forms is to refresh whole browser. Could you please add it?

Type Signatures in Forms
Typing a signature is available in work flows but, not available in forms. Using the mouse to make a signature usually comes out sloppy. It would be nice to be able to type a signature in forms.

Field list in Field behaviors should take the field name and not label
Currently the field list when using field behaviors are using labels. This gets confusing when you have multiple addresses or occurrences of a particular field.
If the field label was used instead, admins can make them unique.

Restore "*Required" Field Errors Back To Webforms
Our DocuWare Cloud instance was recently upgraded to v.7. Since the upgrade, our webforms no longer display errors above the Submit button when *Required fields are incomplete.
In v.7, the descriptive language regarding fields that are incomplete (e.g. "errors") do not appear on webforms. Rather, the "Submit" button remains greyed out and cannot be clicked until the errors are corrected.
Sorry to say, without the helpful errors actually displaying on screen, our users cannot figure out why the Submit button won't light up. One of our webforms is very long and contains many *Required fields. The users simply cannot intuit…
2 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Allow dynamic selection of document to merge with in a merge form configuration.
Perhaps documents selectable from a cabinet (rather than selected from an explorer browse window) dedicated as these type of templates.

I suggest you use the user's local setting to set up the date on forms.
The UK has a date format of day/month/year and given I click on a calendar to select the date often the error is not seen until the 04/06 2017 or was that the 06/04/2017?

Allow user to link a common field in a form to a select list
I have several multi-select lists that have a common field - Facility. But the only way to use them would be to combine them into a larger multi-select list. For instance I have a list of Pay type codes and a list of Supervisors. At the top of the form the facility is chosen and I am using that to pull the pay types. I'd like to also limit the Supervisor list to the facility as well. Maybe a way to associate a Form Field to a field in the select list when you click Filter. Then a choice to…
