    The default Printer preferences are not able to be accessed and changed in the DocuWare Printer. Can we get that access included.

  2. Rules/Conditions for deleting a document

    Today, a user who has the right to delete a document can delete it whatever the state of the document (its status, its progress in a workflow).

    In addition to custom profiles and restrictions in the Result list functions, it would be very useful to be able to set conditions for deleting a document.

    For example, a document cannot be deleted if its status is "sent to accounting". Or the other way around : a document can only be deleted if it has a status included in "new document" or "to be validated", etc.

  3. Autoindex und Löschregel jährlich ausführen

    Es ist nur möglich monatlich bei der Ausführung auszuwählen, während alle 6 Monate den größten Abstand darstellt. Gerne würde ich bestimmte Jobs nur einmal pro Jahr ausführen. Dafür müsste die Auswahl bitte auf alle 12 Monate erweitert werden.

  4. Admin - Reporting

    For a scalable product, it is time to provide more details on usage in the form of a report or KPI on a dashboard. We need a breakdown of how each cabinet is being used, not just the overall account. We cannot perform chargebacks to departments who use different cabinets proportionally to our overall account storage consumption.

  5. Assigning categories to roles

    Assigning categories to roles

    It would be very useful to be able to assign a personalised category to a role in the role config. screen, so that I can use them more effectively in workflows, forms, dialog boxes, etc.

    Examples: main role, secondary role, service, department, position, etc.

    and in the best of all possible worlds, that this information is available in internal lists "role" by making this list a multi-column list.

  6. Ability to Prevent the Deletion of Table Rows

    The ability to prevent the deletion of table rows. For example, in a task with a pre-filled table, I don't want the user to whom the task is assigned to be able to delete any of the pre-filled rows. Or, if a user 'edits index entries' but the table is 'Read Only' the user can not edit the rows in the table but they can still delete them.

  7. New archive type for data records

    In DocuWare a lot of data-archives with only data-records e.g. supplier masterdata, purchase orders without a document.
    For general overview when configuring and for use by users, it would be convenient to introduce a new archive type (e.g. with a different icon or search functionality).

  8. "Recently deleted" needs filtering

    I greatly appreciate the new "recently deleted" feature, however, it would be nice to be able to choose what goes there or maybe to filter out things. Tracking down a deleted document in a sea of scan mistakes is cumbersome.

  9. Custom select lists are missing from the dialogs when copying file cabinets.

    When using a xml file to copy a file cabinet, the custom select lists assignments are missing from the dialogs. 'The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field' check box remains checked though. The fields with only the default select list are copied correctly.

    So the admin has to go through each store dialog, and the index dialogs on each result list and task list, to fix this bug. If a dialog is forgotten, then the user is unable to enter anything in those index fields.

  10. Filters in the task list should not be saved (or saved adjustably)

    The filters in a task list are retained even after logging out, which can sometimes be useful, but often confuses users because not all tasks are displayed directly.
    Therefore, the filter setting should not be saved permanently (like the filters in the search result list), or it should be adjustable per user, or selectable by a checkbox (e.g. next to the "Reset filter" button).

  11. X to close dialogues jumps to the right... why?

    When having multiple dialogues open in the DocuWare interface, they appear as tabs next to each other. Each tab has an x right next to the name of the dialog to close it. However, if there is only one dialog open, the X jumps all the way to the central divider why on keeping the tab layout so that the X so right there where it was before you closed the 2nd to last dialogue?

  12. General Email - Import delay on attachments

    I have a client who is using the General Email option to import attachments from a mailbox. What we are noticing is that the PDF attachments are intermittently uploading as corrupt files even though in the mailbox, the PDF is perfectly fine to open. I also confirmed this by manually importing that PDF from the mailbox into Docuware which works fine.

    I reproduced this behavior on the folder import configuration and found out that it occurs when a large file is scanned into the folder and Docuware imports it without waiting for the file to finish being transferred to the…

  13. An option, where we can change the tab title in the browser to a chosen field

    When multiple tabs are open in the browser, it only shows "DocuWare". It would be nice to see the title of the open document or maybe to choose what field should be displayed in the tab title.

  16. Select Lists - Wildcard Sorting

    There is a hit for this in the workflow context, but would be great to be able to use wildcards for select lists universally. The type ahead functionality is great, but being able to use a wildcard here would really help where the type ahead string might get pretty long before you start to get to the part of the string that starts to differ.

  17. General Email - Allow Separate Attachment Files

    In General Mail capture It would be quite useful to allow for attachment files to come in as separate files instead of having to unclip them. Perhaps the option, as sometimes clipped might be best. I run into this on a farily regular basis.

  18. Admin should have the ability to take ownership of configurations like printers, import jobs, etc...

    Users can create their own configurations for trays, printers etc. However, the Admin can't even see those configurations which makes the system rather difficult to administrate. It would be much better if the Admin can see all the different configurations and, also, if needed take ownership. This could be linked with an automated email to the original owner of the configuration so that they are aware.

  19. expanded use of Table fields

    I was excited to see the new table field type in version 7.1. However, it does not appear that I will be able to use it as planned.

    Our situation: We will receive a check from one our clients who may have several accounts with us. In the accompanying instructions, the client requests to have the check amount distributed evenly among all of their accounts. The instructions may or may not specify account numbers and amounts.
    Once the values have been distributed to each account, we still need to have the capability to search for and retrieve the document using…

  20. Product Overview should be accessible for some users

    It would be good to be able to allow certain users to have access to "Product Overview" in the Configuration so that they can reassign user licenses and check the capacity of the system etc. without having to be a full system admin.
