I suggest that you change the behavior of date fields when storing a document.
On the current behavior, on starting filling "DD", it automatically fills "MM/YYYY" with the current month and year. Awesome, don't change that.
But if by mistake we fill "15/11/201" (instead of "15/11/2021"), we change the line, then come back on the date field, delete all the value and start filling with "15", it automatically completes with the previous wrong information "11/201" instead of the initial behavior (current month and year).2 votes -
Validation Before Store and return corrected data in awnser
The validation option should also be anble to be done before storage. In this way customers can correct index data to their specs. Or add index data to sthe store option.

Being able to make a selectlist via an API CALL
BEcause more and more applications are SaaS application, it is harder and harder to make a select list from data from other applications or databases. This is because SaaS applications like finance application, protect access to their database directly. The only way to do this is via API calls. In this way the customer can control the API reguest and manipulate, alter, or adjust the return awnser that fills the select list.
This is a must have for Docuware to be able to integrate with other applications which databases are not reachable.2 votes -
Create Blank Store Dialogs
It would be really helpful to have the option for a blank store dialog option instead of left clicking all the options I dont want. We have around 100 index fields and sometimes I just want 3 or 4.

add a note tab per file
When you are in a file, there should be a note tab to write a note regarding any recent notes to the file.

Allow Connect to Outlook configs that are set to store attachments first to be linked to an import configuration.

documentcreation tool
most document management software offers the possibilities to extract stored document data and export it into a Word template. From there you can complete the document and store it as a new document in DocuWare. I guess this issue has been asked a few years ago and i don't see it comming. Most of my prospects are asking for this feature.

Field Mask
In the field mask option, there is not the possibility to set a configuration about a "password type". This means the user can digit a password (for stamps for example) and the data are display as "******".
In workflow step I can set several condition where I ask a password, but in this case it's write in visible way.

Use single IndexFile to update multiple documents in StorageRobot
When using StorageRobot, it would be great to be able to use a single Index file to update multiple documents instead of needing a index file for each document that needs to be updated.

Invoice Date - Option to restrict dates
It would be useful to have the option to restrict the invoice date when storing, to a particular range of date. ie the financial year.

Connect to Outlook - from Outlook mobile application (watched folder)
Guten Morgen suzammen,
We have received a number of customer feedbacks expressing the need to be able to benefit from the "Connect to Outlook" functionalities from their "Outlook" mobile application (if only to use the watched folder).
Without an add-on on the Outlook mobile application, users who wish to send invoices received by email to storage from their mobile device (Outlook app.) must have their computer with Outlook and Desktop Apps running so that the documents can be imported.
Do you have a development planned along these application in your roadmap ? If not, could you add it ?

I suggest that we have the ability to automatically import mails and attachments into DocuWare for the new DocuWare for Outlook
To have the same automatic import fucntionality for DocuWare for Outlook as we have for Connect to Outlook for the new Outlook seeing as plenty of people are using the new Outlook

Currently charged for double space for attachments stored within email chain
How can DW store an email using Connect to Outlook and only have the attachments count as one for storage purposes. Currently, it's storing the email with the attachment, then it saves a second copy of the attachment using up double the storage space. This is leading our storage space to be taken up much more quickly. It seems unfair that our files within emails are counted up twice.

Allow extended storage areas for files such as Quickbooks Company Files that do not get renamed to a GUID internally.
Quickbooks files spawn multiple files when opened and they cannot be renamed like for example to a GUID on the raw storage disk. Other companies have an 'extended' storage area where these types of files can be stored with the benefit of being searched but not managed otherwise. This would be beneficial for a Document Storage Management system.

Table autofill with only one selection from store dialog
It would be great to have Table fields using selective select list logic filtering have the autofill function from the store dialog as there is with DW Forms end of DocuWare

List of value with users and filters group
Allow a list to be used in store / search dialog box with some filters like :
- A list who shows users froma group for example
- a list of users with a specific rightThis list should be the users list plus a filter on group for example.

deleted archived document outlook connect
delete a single attachment after it has been stored individually from an email in outlook connect.
at the moment it only allows us to delete all the documents instead of a single one.1 vote
