  1. Could we get an email alert when one of the autoindexing jobs errors out?

    Could we get an email alert when one of the autoindexing jobs errors out? It would be nice to be proactive in fixing these issues without waiting for users to report.

    In a form it is possible to configure a minumum and maximum value for a numeric field. Please make this also possible in the webclient store and edit dialogs

  3. Allow URL parameters in DocuWare Forms

    Since each field in a DocuWare Form has an ID it would be very handy to be able to pass data to that field via a URL parameter.

    If I had a field on a form with the ID of "Location" I'd like to be able to call that form with a specific location value. The form would then load with that field already prefilled with that value. Something like this:

  4. Document history within tasks

    If you want to view document history by clicking on it in tasks, you will only see history for that particular workflow. It would be great to see whole document history even if I want to watch it in tasks.

  5. Make licence assignment page searchable by users

    When you are in a administration view, managing licences, it would be nice to have an option to search users by name. If you can't have UI for that, at least enable browser search function, so we can quickly find the person who needs licence change.

  6. Enable AutoIndex To Write Back To CSV Files Without A Header Row

    AutoIndex will write back to CSV files with a header row. It also writes back to CSV files without a header row; however, it writes back row 1's data to row 2, row 2 to row 3, etc. Then it doesn't write back the last row.

    AutoIndex can support a CSV without a header row. Therefore, AutoIndex should be able to properly write back to a CSV file that doesn't have a header row. Since AutoIndex doesn't properly write back to CSV files without a header, this is one way the configuration of DocuWare can be improved.

  7. Sort order in external select lists

    In the data connector or external list configuration allow the ability to set the sort order by one or more fields in the data connection. Allow workflow designer or sys admin to define or modify the SQL query used to pull the data for the external select list to use WHERE and ORDER BY clauses.

  8. gMSA Support

    Docuware should urgently support gMSA (Group Managed Service Accounts). It´s a basic securty feature since Windows Server 2012. Misconfigured service accounts are a common problem, as not many companies though even know how dangerous is to keep them misconfigured.

    Allow Admin to emulate a user to test permissions viewing, and availability of dialogs/stamps etc.

    Don't allow us to apply or modify anything but at least the ability to check the avalibilityof items/lists/tasks/stamps/dialogs everything assigned via a Role/Functional Profile etc.

  10. New password request email in the user's language

    Currently, when a new user is created, a request email is sent to set the password in the language of the administrator who creates it.

    We suggest that in the new user registration form, the user's language selector is included, and that the email is sent in the language selected for the user.

  11. Grant access to create Baskets and File Cabinets to the API

    When working within the API you have the ability to create users and assign them groups and roles. However, you still have to manually create Baskets for the users to use.

    By the same token, now that you are able to export and import a valid XML for a FIle Cabinet to speed up creation, you should be able to create a method to allow passing of an XML (or FC class).

    Once the idea for export/import Workflows is completed, it would be nice to have this functionality for that as well, as it will significantly speed up moving data…

  12. Hide Uneeded Store Dialogs in Trays

    Allow for store dialogs to be specifically hidden (possibly by File Cabinet reference) via a configuration within the tray.

    For example:
    The system has an Accounts Payable tray, which an administrator user is using, this tray allows them to see store dialogs for HR aswell.

    However, with the proposed idea you could turn off these extra store dialogs to reduce user error

  13. Update all triggers to use a condition for DOES NOT CONTAIN

    In the Trigger conditions for Workflow Manager, Autoindex, Transfer etc, there should be a way to use a DOES NOT CONTAIN statement to allow for increased flexibility when setting up triggers

  14. Export or synchronize documents with history

    When transferring/synchronizing documents into a different file cabinet there is no may to export the workflow history, also document history cannot be transferred but especially the workflow history is important for many customers.

    When is this important:
    -many customers are moving from on premises systems to cloud
    -splitting one large file cabinet into several smaller ones

    For audit reasons keeping the workflow history is crucial but there is currently no other way than having Docuware Request with workflow history export which you save localy and run if requested by some auditor. All described options above lead to loss of this…

  15. Store the user credentials in Forms and AutoIndex configuration

    Store the user credentials of the configured username/password in a autoindex task and in a public form configuration. In the current situation DW is asking the password again at every change in a autoindex of form configuration. This should work as in a Workflow configuration: ask once at creation time.

  16. Set datetime filed in the condition of much code of autoindex.

    We can't select the datetime field in the autoindex much code. Currently only date field is available.

  17. Separate the Workflow designer from the activities that are covered by the workflow.

    When there a high number of active instances, the Workflow Designer times out without loading the details in the bottom of the screen and we cannot access the workflow itself.

  18. Allow a standard attachment to add to a workflow

    I want to use a public form for a lead to register and download an e-book. I want to do that by asking a lead to fill in a form after which I send the e-book via e-mail (after which I send the lead to an ccountmanager to follow-up. It would be great if I had the possibility of attaching an attachment of choice to a workflow generated e-mail.

  19. change the order of fields in the list view when you put you mouse over the table field.

    if you have a list with a table field . you can then put you mouse over the field and see the first lines of the table field..
    But the order of the fields seems to be the order that the fields where created in .. it would be great also to change this order..

  20. When using prefill in a table field in workflow..

    if there are default values set on fields in the table field in a workflow.
    Then if you prefill and ypu have specified not to refill that specific field.
    then the default values are not put into the field.. its just empty..
