One-Time Scheduling Option
On any job that includes a schedule option ... allow for a selection that would do a one-time only execution of the job.
For example I have a use case where I want to schedule a transfer job for my migration from on-premise to the cloud to happen overnight ... I'm not always available to manually kick off overnight jobs and putting them on a "fake" schedule is a less than ideal solution (I don't want to run the risk of duplicating data if I forget to disable the schedule in time). (Workflow designer) Wants to get the numeric column of a table field as an entry in Data assignment.
We want to assign the table field index data to a global variable. Currently we can get the text type of the Table field as expected, but the number type does not appear as a candidate for entry.
We have to get the number type value of Table field as well.

stamps
Add option to display first and last name to stamp. Some of our usernames are generic for example Warehouseclerk01. Yet the First and last Name are assigned to a person Jon Doe. This would be nice to show on the stamp instead of user name.

audit
I think is very important to put at least the source IP or hostname of the user in Audit Reports, because someone could steal the credentials of an user, but the source IP could give more details of where did it.

Adding an attribute to the user dictionary
Add attributes to users (in the DocuWare dictionnary) and be able to use them in workflows or index profiles. For example, if we add a "Line manager" attribute, it could be used in Workflows to assign a task to the manager of the connected user.
Another example, a "Company" attribute would allow the documents of a company of the logged-in user to be filtered in the index profiles.3 votes -

Index filter hierarchy rights Project > Document
We need project or folder hierarchy rights management.
If user is added to index field on 'project' document that user
should have rights to project documents linked to this 'project' document.This can be configured with free sql statement on index filter rights but requires join statements which are put in where clause so there is a big performance penalty.

We should be able to Bold a particular section in the Text Stamp
When creating a Text Stamp, I discovered that I can not Bold a particular section of the text created from the others. I would appreciate if this is looked into.

See an status bar for Fulltext tasks
I think will be great if in DocuWare cloud we could have the way to see the status of fulltext tasks, like how many documents are indexed and how many are missing for being indexed. Sometimes we have had to reset fulltext index for some file cabinets due to some problems with full text but we don't know when this process will finish and also we don't know if something will fail.

Keep Hyperlinks within a document active in Docuware Viewer
It would be great if Docuware would keep hyperlinks in a document active. A user should be able to click on the link in a document when being viewed in the document viewer.

.dcm extension
We have a file type “.dcm” which is dicom file, which is not supported by docuware web client viewers, we upload this file to docuware
When we double click we get an error message, file type is not supported
when we right click and select “edit” the file open in the windows application which can view the file (we have an application to display the dicom files)
the question is : can we make for this file type only “.dcm” when we double click it open in windows application same as right click and select edit

Allow for workflows to be scheduled every x hour or x minute
I have a client migrating from Fortis with workflows that are running every 15 minutes. the problem is in Fortis these were daisy chained together and each step had it's own query. Because of the required OR statements, I can't run them as triggered (no And and OR statements allowed), so I can only run them as scheduled, requiring me to duplicate the workflow 49 times to run every 15 minutes for 12 hours.

allow a merge form to be created based on content of a form
I have several merge forms that may or may not be needed depending on the content of a form. For example I have 2 consent forms that are identical the only difference is the county. I would like to use 1 form and then have a checkbox for the county and it use the data from that checkbox to determine which merge form to complete.

Stamp Date without Index Field assignment
Stamps were more or less recently moved to the Configuration page.
However, not the entire functionality was moved.
In 7.3 stamping dates onto a document has weird behavior:If you want a user input field to be a date picker field, the only way to do that is to link it to an index field. If you want to just have a date stamped onto the document, but not have it in an index field you are out of luck - you can only create text fields without linking to an index field.
If you want a stamp to empty…

You can use Office documents in the Forms. But the output is always PDF. Please create option for Forms output to Word and Excel

Make Workflow Designer easier to keep tidy with multi-select
Make Workflow Designer easier to keep tidy, like Process Planner is.
I create a workflow on a VM to get it right, deploy to the customer system so the Workflow Designer layout looks intuitive to follow, and then any tweaks to the design of the Workflow from that point result in it looking like a bird's nest of connectors and boxes.
Multi-select would help quite a bit here

The Workflow Designer is in need of much assistance.
In Visio, object connection points can be all around an object Also connection labels can be dragged to any position along the line by the user.
It appears that the Workflow Designed only has 4 connection points in each corner. Also the tags for each connector will automatically position themselves, but not always ideally. The effect is that lines and the labels will realign themselves willy nilly each time ANYTHING is relocated. This is EXTREMELY UNDESIRABLE!!!!! I spent more time today dicking around with positions and connecting lines, which have a mind of their own by the way, and not…

Active Directory Network ID Adjustability
Allow admin's to specify user NetworkIDs in the sync settings or change the AD sync to also pull the domain's shortname. Sync worked for us, but it pulled the fully qualified domain name rather than the short domain name. Users were synced and created successfully, but their NetworkID doesn't match the Windows session username which uses the short name of the domain.

Task List: Assign a certain result list per task, per workflow, for workflow controllers.
Result lists are useful. Having multiple result lists is a necessary feature which exists for good reason. However, all users of all task lists have the same result list configuration. Whichever result list is picked as "Default" is used for every task list system-wide.
Example: Accounting users (especially workflow controllers) should be able to have different options available compared to approvers.
This also goes for the "edit index entries" dialog of the result list. Even if an approver has (and needs) permissions to edit certain fields for workflow tasks, we do not want to present this as an option when…
