Separate permissions focused on export option
In new versions we suggest that download, print and e-mail options be separate in the management of docuware profiles. These options should not be focused on the "export" option. For our organization these separate options would give a better control of permissions on users and is very necessary.

Allow the copying (Ctrl+C or right click menu) of Workflow ID in Workflow manager for use in the URL creator
This would eliminate the need to open the database manager or key in that long number.

User Reporting Capabilities
I would like to see who is using the system and what files each person has touched as well as how many people are in Docuware at any given moment.

Separate the Check Out/Check In and Set As Current Version Rights For File Cabinet Profiles
Currently the Check Out/Check In and the Set as Current Version rights are bundled together as the "Check Out" right under the File Cabinet Profiles.
These should be considered as separate rights as we should be able to give users the right to Edit and the ability to set previous versions to current versions without giving the users right to Check Out a document.

Add basket level alerts.
I'd like it so that if a basket reaches over a certain amount of documents (or total file size) it'll email a person of choice to alert them to it. So if we have an import job that grabs files from a network location and uploads them into a "pending" basket, if it gets over say 50 it'll email someone's supervisor to alert that the documents aren't being processed timely.

Would like to be able to find a Web basket by name on the server
Sometimes when trouble shooting it would be a help to know the name of the document tray when looking at the file folders on the server. We used to be able to do that on older versions. Our site recently migrated to 6.6 from 5.1b and all the web baskets have the same folder name with just a number appended. Ex. DWWebBas.000047 instead of "Accounting"

Connect 2 Mail to also allow the usage of .msg not just .pdf and .eml
I think it is great you added the .eml to the Exchange configuration in Coonect2Mail feature of 6.6.
However the .eml extension does not allow for forward/reply/reply all from the right-click context menu. This is currently allowed with an Active import and Connect2Outlook stored emails.
The only way to forward/reply/reply all is to edit the document. This causes a security concern for users that do not have the edit right/ however they were still able to forward/reply/ reply all from the context menu.Please look at adding the emails as .msg again from the C2M module.

Batch user tools for managing users.
Some installations have hundreds or thousands of users. We need tools to manage sub-groups, for ex., the DW customer's customers customers, or enterprise customers with large divisions. In particular one function badly needed is a wayt to export users (and attributes) to CSV or Excel.

Allow storageRobot to attach (clip) to the front of an existing document in the cabinet.
Currently it only attaches to the back of the existing document.

Allow storageRobot to clip to more than one existing document in the cabinet at a time
Currently this application is hard coded to attach to only one document that matches the search criteria. Also, if it finds more than one, it errors and does not clip anything.

Prefill form field with another form field
Some forms capture the same data over and over again, we need to be able to prefill a form field with one that was captured earlier.

New 'Add attachments' Dialog to DW WF Designer
I am currently working on a project in which we are essentially building a ticketing system within DW for our IT team, this system will work similarly to Jira. I am near the end of this build, and an area where I believe the WF designer can improve would be, if we had the ability to drag/attach files in a WF task setting. Ultimately when a user would get a task sent to them, in one of the dialog the user will be able to to drag and/or paste (ctrl+v) an image or file, and press 'Confirm'. Once the task…

Switch Case sentence in workflow designer
Should exist an element that emulate a Switch Case sentence because when you have to evaluate a lot of conditions with a only one variable or index field, you should nest them until you've evaluated all conditions, so think about if you have for example 20 contiditions, you must use at least 20 "Decitions" in the work flow.
Really bad practice at the time to make maintinance to the workflow.

Optimizing access to document history
Problem: In the _AUD tables with more than 10 000 000 rows we are experiencing delays in consulting the document history.
The service is functional, the first log entries are displayed immediately, but after browsing the drop-down menu, the rest of the display takes more than 1 minute.
Solution: We want a development that avoids having to purge the _AUD tables.

Require entries in table field on forms
I would like the ability to require at least one row be completed in a table field on the form.

Allow Processing Configurations in the General Email Connection
When using Connect to Outlook, you can assign a Watch Folder processing config to process the document. Using general email, you can not do this.
If you are using Connect to Outlook, your computer must be online in order to send the document to the cloud. With General Email, you are logged into the email account... so you are able to always capture the emails... but not process and index them.

Bring back the comment in case of a reject decision (Docusign connector)
When using Docusign webservices with Docuware. This is not possible to bring back the comment of Docusign.
However when a user is taking a decision into Docusign this is mandatory to add a comment in case of reject.And this could be really usefull for all webservice method of Docusign, especially the method AddNewDocumentMultiSigners.

Trigger a Workflow or Autoindex upon version change.
It would be useful, when a new version of a document is archived, to trigger a task or autoindex.

Creating lists of users within groups/roles.
We need to be able to create lists of users within a role or group.
In on premise systems it is possible to make a query to generate such lists. On the cloud, SQL statements being disabled (!), this is not possible.
These lists would make it possible to have a dynamic list of users without needing support tables to be maintained manually.4 votes
