  1. Add font color option to fillable form field in workflow

    I would like to have the option to change the font color of fill areas on forms from a workflow when the field data is changed.
    The form is completed and all items are entered onto the form in black. Then a workflow is triggered. The workflow dialog asks for information that can change what is on the form, then the workflow is configured with Assign Data to update that fill area on the form.     Add way to filter by multiple items in 'Tasks' view, or even allowing search parameters. Currently you can only filter in the 'Tasks' view with one filter per column.

  3. Add the same buttons in WorkflowTasks than in filecabinet results

    Hi,
    Currently, in all filecabinet's results (List, result, folders) we are able to add buttons for some DocuWare tools such as "Extract to revise", "print", "send as PDF", "update index entry",... (see on screenshot 1).

    In workflow tasks, only two buttons are available : "History" and "Reassign" (see on screenshot 2).
    For some clients, other tools are part of the workflow process. For example "extract to revise" option, is not available either on the viewer toolbox and it represents at least 3 clicks for the user to perform. So it would be great to have the possibility to have those…

  4. Global Workflow JSON object variable type

    Make it possible to create a JSON object in the workflow, which can be modified (add, modify, delete node) by JSONPath. This can be used to build a JSON string for a webservice request, or be used after a webservice request to copy the response in such a JSON object.

  5. workflow versionning

    As an integrator, I waste time managing the different version of DocuWare with Workflow. I would like it to be possible to have a workflow and for it to automatically adapt to the version of the client's desktop apps. Normally with application of this type, a version 1.1 must be able to manage a version 1.0, on DocuWare this basic standard is not on and this wastes a lot of time...

    Ability to store a memo in a variable so you could set a termplate of email in html in a memo and call it from a workflow to a variable to use it.

  7. When sending an email to a GV that matches the username of an inactive user, do not throw a general error task.

    DocuWare R&D claims that this works as intended, but it makes no sense to work like this for inactive users.

    Just looking to get this logic re-evaluated.

  10. Hidden some global variables in document workflow history

    When working with a web service, sometimes it is necessary to obtain the credentials, user and authentication from another filecabinet with master data. If we are going to store these credentials in global variables, this appears in the document workflow history and, in some cases, should not be visible to all users, it must be hidden.

    We propose that global variables can be managed so that they are displayed or not displayed in the document history.

  11. Set indexes or variables to NULL in a workflow

    Today, in a workflow, we can't set index values or variables to NULL.
    We can "empty" this information but this is not optimal, it's not the same thing as passing them to NULL.

    The option is already present in the auto indexes

    We would like to have the possibility for the users to see the "Assigned to" system variable in their workflow dashboard in the web client. There is a possibility to write the system variable to the index field and then to display this index field in the dashboard, but the index field can only get updated once we have moved to the next task or block in the workflow.   14. Prevent confirmation of a task until the linked form has been saved ("send")

    When using tasks, it is currently impossible to set a condition on the "Confirm" button for the task (yellow and accessible by default).
    This can be very inconvenient, especially if you need the user to fill in a form (link in the task dialogue box) before confirming the task.

    • Context: task, created with the Workflow manager, containing a link in the dialog box to a form to be filled in.
    • Procedure: the task is assigned to a specific role. the user attached to this role must complete and save the form before validating the task.

    As a user I would like to have access to the system variable dwdocsize. This way I would not have to create this field as an index field first and have it filled via Autoindex.

  16. Automatically confirm a Task once the linked form has been saved (click on "Send")

    Add the option in the Task settings (e.g. in the WF) for a form generated from a task, to automatically confirm the linked task as soon as the form is filled in and "sent".

    For the moment, when I save my form, I have to go back to the task to click on the "Confirm" button for it to disappear from my list.

  17. Allow workflows to be viewed between DocuWare versions

    As a DocuWare engineer I often go back and forth between different customer exploring workflow issues.
    As such I have to re-install DocuWare workflow designer several times a day to avoid the 'mismatch versions' error.

    I don't want to change the workflow, just view it; couldn't we make that backwards compatible?

  18. Create a Dashboard for workflow?

    Add the ability to display in a dashboard, not just lists where each document is in a workflow, including wait steps when applicable.

    This would need to be available not only by controllers but also additional upper management with Read-Only licenses.

    Currently only the Organization Admin is able to Export Workflows. When we have a team working with different file cabinets and different stages of development, it would be helpful to be able to assign the user to be able to export workflows and share their work.

  20. Perform Workflow Task Items in System Emails

    A fantastic functionality would be for recipients of workflow task emails to be able to select an option for that task directly from the system's email. Many users are able to receive and respond to emails even though it could quite some time before they're able to access a computer. In a large environment having all required users install the mobile app isn't always practical and with table fields being part of many workflows the mobile app is out anyways.
