  1. allow a user to complete part of a task

    I have a table field that I would like to complete in a task over time. I have to do it by going into the document and entering the data through edit index entries instead. In my case I have an inventory piece to purchase orders. When a purchase order over a certain dollar amount comes in it triggers a workflow to assign and tag the items purchased. For me, I order computers and set them up and deliver them over a few days. I can't stick the tag on a device and enter the information in the table in…

  2. Value from another file cabinet

    Workflow. I want to search value in another file cabinet. For example some approval limit. Now I need to create extra global variable, fill it with text "Approval limit" and use this global variable in SQL query for file cabinet. The following SQL query doesn't work: Limit = 'Approval limit'. I need to create global variable with the mentioned text and use the global variable. Same for my colleagues.

    Worfklow task. When I change the field behavior to read only, I need to define again the predefined value. Why? Could the workflow designer keep the predefined value?

  5. Stop workflow from Workflow Designer "Active Instance" tab

    Please add the option to stop the workflow in this tab, We only have Continue option; this may lead to an infinite loop

  6. Stop workflow from workflow designer Waiting Instances tab

    In Workflow designer, there is an option to stop a workflow from "Active Instances" tab, why is the same is not available in the "Waiting Instances" tab. We only have Continue Action. this may lead to infinite loop sometimes as you continue, condition is not fulfilled in the workflow and come back to Waiting Instance.

  7. Make fields in Table fields required based on values from other fields in the row..

    Hi. Make fields required dynamically based on values from the same row of fields(or from a lookup into a system/config file cabinet) ex..
    in many AP solutions you have rules in the accounting where ex a specific Account requires that ex field purpose/department needs to be filled out.. and on some Accounts its not required. it would be great if you could control this behavior ex via a lookup into a datasource..

    Allow Group selection when assigning users to an email. Also nice if it worked the same way as Task Assignment where you can select all in the group, or specific users in the group.

  10. Numeric Data Type in Table Fields

    Either allow casting of cabinet numeric fields to decima in workflow tables or allow numeric data types in table fields. This discrepancy between allowable data types limits the filtering of data in tables.

  11. Introduce a Brief Course on the Business Use Cases of Workflow

    The LMS provides several courses for DSC's on the components of DocuWare Workflow and in fact a pre-requisite for the course is a DSC certification. It would be ideal that a short business course is designed for DSAs to aid them with understanding several business uses of workflow and mention them during their engagements with prospects. The business uses of workflow are indeed embedded in the various case studies listed on the DocuWare website . it would be ideal to so as to say extract such cases and centralize them.   12. API - Transfer without annotations

    Since 7.9 we can access Platform API directly in the workflow.
    The transfer call allows us to copy a document from one storage location (File cabinet or tray) to another.
    However, I can't transfer the document without the annotations. It could be a good thing to be able to have the choice to copy with or without annotations (parameter in the call ?).

    The goal is to have the ability to place specific stamps that, once merged, can be used as anchor text for signature purposes. We cannot have other stamps or annotations on the signed document.

  14. Add the ability to restore deleted Workflow Tasks

    Without knowing we stopped workflows for employees that are no longer here. Tired of getting emails that wont deliver. We didnt realize this would stop the flow for all users. It would be nice if when a workflow is stopped that it is moved to the recycle bin where we can restore

  15. Allow the workflow designer to change retry attempts for individual workflows.

    KBA-36354 explains
    How to change the count of retry attempts of failed tasks. There are 2 problems with this. First, it isn't an option in the cloud and second, it is system-wide. I have been creating workflows as a workaround to fill in table fields in merge forms. I could do all of the error checking to see if a row is in a table before filling in the document but it is time-consuming tedious work that is unnecessary because the workflow manager has error checking.   17. Workflow fields only display on stamp if populated

    If you are putting a stamp on a document, and it has multiple fields in the decision, you are always forced to put those decisions on the stamp. Make a way where if the field is NULL the line/field doesnt populate on the stamp. This would help avoid clutter

  19. Send one email to all recipients in Notification - Tasks

    Hello,

    For now, when an email is sent from the Task activity, it is sent individually to all users to whom the task is assigned. Unfortunately, business users are lost and do not know if the task is assigned to them personally or to the whole group.

    It is too bad as a developer to add a condition and based on the condition (is the task attributed to a role or a user?), use the Notify activity.

    Is it possible to add the option "notify everyone in a single mail" inside the Task activity?

    Ability to store a memo in a variable so you could set a termplate of email in html in a memo and call it from a workflow to a variable to use it.
