  1. add Notes pane to workflow task view

    The only way users currently have of adding comments to a document as it goes through a workflow is to use the "edit text annotation" function, which is not very visible and can easily be missed. A good idea may be to add a Notes pane to the task area in the bottom-left. In the same way that the users can flip between the various decisions they have as part of the task by clicking the decision buttons on the left side, a couple of buttons can be put on the top: one saying "Task" and the other saying "Notes".…

  2. workflow copy objects in workflow.

    you can copy workflow objects one at a time but that still requires me to attach them and get them on the right place. I would like to select a group of objects in workflow design at one time and copy them to another workflow.

  3. Set notifications preferences

    It would be great if each user could set his notifications preferences on how to get the emails from the workflow manager. For example :
    1. send me a mail for each task
    2. send me a mail once a day
    3. send me a mail once a week

  4. Email Notifications - File Cabinet vs Individual Users

    Docuware admins should be able to set a single email notification template for a file cabinet. Currently, admins must create an email notification for each user in the cabinet, which requires a lot of administrative overhead.

    Please allow the ability to set a notification template at the file cabinet level.

  5. Allow the 'Create Data Record' option available in the web client to also be available in Workflow Manager

    Allow the Assign Data activity to create data records in a file cabinet. Two use cases where this might be useful; the posting of GL records for invoices, where invoices are in one cabinet and GL records in another as a 1 to many relationship. And the prepopulating of index data for documents that may be added later, such as a PO for an Invoice or a Shipping Manifest or BoL.

  6. Visibility of the workflow document when openning the linked documents

    The preview of the document selected from workflow should be remains open when openning the linked documents. This is the functionality of Docuware 6.1. Now in the Docuuware 6.7 this functionality has been removed. Currently the preview of the document selected from Tasks is closed when you look into linked documents.

  8. Add the ability to set a stamps max width/height

    Currently, stamps with lots of text in Form Fields for notes, long names, etc flow off the page and are difficult to view as the stamp text is placed on one single line. If the user enters 255 characters of text to the field of the stamp, they cannot place stamp on document.

    Suggestion is to to allow for a Max Width and Max Height options when creating a stamp. This will allow a user to enter as much text as desired and the content of the stamp will still be visible on the page.

  9. Allow customization of the workflow documents view per user

    Currently the workflow documents view can not be customized per user. Event the end user change the column width or swap columns - these settings are not saved between logins. Additionally we need to have an ability to define different workflow view per user per task.

  10. multiple fields in email notifications

    We need to be able to select multiple field names in email notifications. even if it was as simple as a concatenation of 2 field names in the link, that would help a lot. better would be the option to use field names in the subject of the email, or as part of the text of the email, beyond just the link.

  11. Add ability in DocuWare Tasks and WorkFlow to create a task without having a document already created.

    Sometimes users need to be assigned a task to do a specific function such as create documents. Currently, a user would need to create a document to request a new task to create a new document. Once the task has been submitted and workflow started the original "request" document is not needed or useful.

    Adding the ability to Create a task that includes data fields that are customizable by administrators and for specific users to see would solve many issues. I envision that there would be a button under tasks that would say Create a task and based on the…

    You can accomplish this currently by creating a database entry from a document tray. Just unselect all documents and the store button will be a “Create database entry” button. Then enter index entries that would trigger a workflow. The workflow will just start like with a document and you have the possibility to add a document at any later time.

  12. Allow more complex conditions for email notification triggers

    We would like to be able to generate triggers based on conditions that contain a combination of AND and OR such as the following:

    Status = "Needs approval" AND
    Department = "Accounting" OR Department = "Billing"

    One solution would be to have the ability to reference a task list to obtain the conditions for the email trigger since many times there is a related task list and the task lists allow for more complex conditions.

  13. Stamping multiple documents in a single step be restored to the web client

    Stamping of multiple documents/pages were available in the Windows client. We have a customer with a urgent need for this feature in the web client after using this in the Windows client

  14. Add the ability to run workflows on web baskets

    Since web baskets are technically cabinets in the background, I'd like the ability to run workflows on them. For example, I'd like to run a deletion workflow at the end of each week on some of the baskets to purge the remaining documents that users didn't delete when they were finished.

  15. Please give us a pop up menue when new work flow is uploaded.

    When we upload a new document to the workflow it go into the normal que an does not alert us to there is a new document that is uploaded. can we get a alert or alarm to say new document uploaded?

    It would be nice to select WF history instances and purge them, leaving only the most recent.
    Useful to clean up WF history list instances for WF's that run multiple times on a document.

  19. Add a search tool to Tasks

    It would be very helpful to be able to search for a task by using index criteria.

  20. E-Mail by date

    It would be usefull, to get an email because of date not only by event.
    A resubmission is needed on that date or 3 days before.
    In this case there is no event, to get one I Need to build an extra autoindex Job.
