Ability to disable printing without annotations
We want to limit our users to only print documents as PDF with annotations.
or Send only as PDF with annotations.
When we originally set up docuware we were printing our payable checks into docuware then sending the images to a check printer.
We never dreamed the image would be so clear that the same check can be reprinted to the check printer multiple times from docuware with possible "Fraud" issues.
We added a non-negotiable image to the checks (after the discovery)
which corrects the issue going forward.
We would like to Stamp the older checks and disable the option to print without annotations, to resolve our "At Risk" issues.
Your idea has been added to our backlog. We are now further investigating the idea.

Select Print on the left hand side.
Uncheck the box at the bottom in the Comments section you will see a check box labeled Print Comments.
Click on OK to close the preferences window.
Now all of your documents going forward will print out without the annotations on the document. This May Work,

If you remove the 'Print' option from the right-click menu, then add only the 'print with annotations' as a button to the top of the result list. Then users can only print with annotations.
A separate result list can be created for users who need to be able to print without annotations.

I would like to be able to 'merge layers' as part of a workflow so this doesn't have to be a manual task, as an example i have a workflow that requires 4 approvals and then sends the document out to a set list of people, i want the approval stamps on the document but currently have to add an extra task after the 4 approvals for someone to manually 'merge layers' so the approval stamps will be on the attached document.

People use annotations for redaction so the ability to print without annotations can be a HUGE security/privacy risk. Very surprised to see this easy hack in place - please fix this loophole.

It's the same for us. In our project, we use a stamp named "Duplicata" to indicate that documents stored in DocuWare are not originals. When printing a document, users MUST print WITH the stamp.
Because, as we know, the DocuWare Administration does not make the difference between Print with annotations/Print without annoatations, we have desabled the Print function for all users (FileCabinet \ Dialog \ Result list \ Functions \ Windows Client and Web Client \ Print Selected document = unchecked).
But now, the only way for users to print is to download "as a PDF with annotations" and then print it.
We would like to be able to print a document WITH annotations directly (without downloading)
