  1. Cross posting from the Client forum for a customizable web/link/macro button

    Posted to the client forum, but also asking here has anyone attempted to put a customizable web/link/macro button into the Docuware interface? This is for on-premise.
    This would be a button bar or availability that could allow for simple customization. The specific request is a button to enter a hyperlink to an external application. All they really want is exactly that. No other integration, just open an application, and at this point not even a sub windows inside DW.

  2. Automatic csv export for index in workflow manager

    In the standard DocuWare function, there is a manual csv export on web client as the current method of csv export.

    Many customers want to link CSV data to the ERP system, so they want to do this automatically instead of manually. In order to do it automatically, it is necessary to access the web service built on each customer by using the web service of workflow manager. (Programming required)

    I would like to add an activity for csv export to the workflow manager to easily achieve this.

  3. Add your own fonts

    It would be very helpful if the office internal font could be added to DocuWare. In our case it would be the source sans pro font.

  4. Single Sign-on is great however it automatically add all users from AD into Docuware and assigns them a license automatically.

    This process negates the AD user management feature, if they still need to assign licenses manually. Additionally I noticed that ALL AD Groups could be added to Docuware automatically, typically only a subset of AD groups are used in Docuware.

  6. Please maintain Index details of a deleted document in Audit report to help deleted documents audit.

    When i modify any document index values, Audit report screen shows modified record's details. But deleted record details are not shown.
    It is required to show index details of deleted record as part of audit requirement. Attached deleted record screenshot for your reference

  7. Web Service Integration Improvements

    DocuWare doesnt have the same abilities as SoapUI to process data from web services. See below

    Docuware can’t process sub child XML elements and self-closing tag as a parameter.

    SoupUI can process all standard data types while Docuware can accept Integer and Decimal but seems to inconsistently be able to access some string parameters

    Some context objects in SoapUI aren't able to be interacted with in DocuWare because the data types aren't standard (string, decimal etc).

  8. One-Time Scheduling Option

    On any job that includes a schedule option ... allow for a selection that would do a one-time only execution of the job.

    For example I have a use case where I want to schedule a transfer job for my migration from on-premise to the cloud to happen overnight ... I'm not always available to manually kick off overnight jobs and putting them on a "fake" schedule is a less than ideal solution (I don't want to run the risk of duplicating data if I forget to disable the schedule in time). I have 8 years of data to move…

  9. Adding an attribute to the user dictionary

    Add attributes to users (in the DocuWare dictionnary) and be able to use them in workflows or index profiles. For example, if we add a "Line manager" attribute, it could be used in Workflows to assign a task to the manager of the connected user.
    Another example, a "Company" attribute would allow the documents of a company of the logged-in user to be filtered in the index profiles.

  10. (Workflow designer) Wants to get the numeric column of a table field as an entry in Data assignment.

    We want to assign the table field index data to a global variable. Currently we can get the text type of the Table field as expected, but the number type does not appear as a candidate for entry.

    We have to get the number type value of Table field as well.

  11. stamps

    Add option to display first and last name to stamp. Some of our usernames are generic for example Warehouseclerk01. Yet the First and last Name are assigned to a person Jon Doe. This would be nice to show on the stamp instead of user name.

  12. audit

    I think is very important to put at least the source IP or hostname of the user in Audit Reports, because someone could steal the credentials of an user, but the source IP could give more details of where did it.

  14. Index filter hierarchy rights Project > Document

    We need project or folder hierarchy rights management.

    If user is added to index field on 'project' document that user
    should have rights to project documents linked to this 'project' document.

    This can be configured with free sql statement on index filter rights but requires join statements which are put in where clause so there is a big performance penalty.

  15. We should be able to Bold a particular section in the Text Stamp

    When creating a Text Stamp, I discovered that I can not Bold a particular section of the text created from the others. I would appreciate if this is looked into.

  16. See an status bar for Fulltext tasks

    I think will be great if in DocuWare cloud we could have the way to see the status of fulltext tasks, like how many documents are indexed and how many are missing for being indexed. Sometimes we have had to reset fulltext index for some file cabinets due to some problems with full text but we don't know when this process will finish and also we don't know if something will fail.

  17. Keep Hyperlinks within a document active in Docuware Viewer

    It would be great if Docuware would keep hyperlinks in a document active. A user should be able to click on the link in a document when being viewed in the document viewer.

  18. .dcm extension

    We have a file type “.dcm” which is dicom file, which is not supported by docuware web client viewers, we upload this file to docuware

    When we double click we get an error message, file type is not supported

    when we right click and select “edit” the file open in the windows application which can view the file (we have an application to display the dicom files)

    the question is : can we make for this file type only “.dcm” when we double click it open in windows application same as right click and select edit

  19. Allow for workflows to be scheduled every x hour or x minute

    I have a client migrating from Fortis with workflows that are running every 15 minutes. the problem is in Fortis these were daisy chained together and each step had it's own query. Because of the required OR statements, I can't run them as triggered (no And and OR statements allowed), so I can only run them as scheduled, requiring me to duplicate the workflow 49 times to run every 15 minutes for 12 hours.

  20. allow a merge form to be created based on content of a form

    I have several merge forms that may or may not be needed depending on the content of a form. For example I have 2 consent forms that are identical the only difference is the county. I would like to use 1 form and then have a checkbox for the county and it use the data from that checkbox to determine which merge form to complete.
