Option to set Merge Form Field behaviour as Single Line Text or Multi Lines Text
As default Merge Form Field displays text as Single Line Text and often text from a web form disappears if it's too long. They only way the text breaks lines is if it's linked to a Multi Lines Text Field from a web form.
Now with Fill Areas if I want to overlay text from a Keyword type index in workflow to a fill area that wasn't linked to Multi Lines Field it behaves as Single Line Text.
Could you give us an option to choose Fill Area behaviour (as a Single Line Text or Multi Lines Text), please?5 votes -
Save uploads from Forms with different index entries
If you use multiple upload blocks in a WebForm they all get the same index entries. For example a upload block for letters. and a different block for Copy ID. ANd a third block for a contract.
all attachments have the same index entries. Please create an option to assign diffent docment types per upload block1 vote -
Sync Transfered Documents
When using Transfer Rules, it's great, but having the posibility to SYNC the index fields of the transfered documents would be ideal.
I understand this can make sense in some cases, but not all, so the Transfer Rule should have the Option, but not mandatory.

Automatic Result List
It would be great to assing an Automatic Result Lists, that would show only the columns where fields are not empty.

Add notes on workflow designer
It would be helpfull to be able to create personal notes in workflow designer. For example : I can note the last modification, leave a not on the WF for someone else...

Add ability to add multiple document trays to user permissions
In the User Administration, you can add groups, roles, functional profiles, dialogs and stamps, but not document trays. It would be easier to set up new users by adding the document trays to the user instead of the user to each and every document tray.

Add an anchor to the smart search button
Some softwares have scroll bars so if you are using smart connect, the search button is probably going to move throught the screen, conflicting with the external software and bringing incorrect results. Docuware should have an option to relate an anchor to the smart search button so it won't move trought the screen when you scroll, getting exact results and avoiding conflict whith the external software.

Enable Administrator to see document trays of all users
Use Case Example:
A file cabinet to which user-created document trays are assigned is to be deleted. The administrator has no permissions on these trays, so it is impossible for the administrator to find out which baskets these are (unless via the database).
Even without administering right, it should be possible for administrators to find out which document trays exist and which users they are assigned to.

Ability to reassign users to a workflow task on the fly.
There are times when it would be nice if users could be reassigned to a workflow task on demand. Sometimes there can be heavy workloads on a given task so the ability to add additional resources to the task would be helpful.

Dynamic Store Dialog
Ability to change the store dialog dynamically based on the fields. For example the document type. Forms already has some dynamic fields based on others, and is very helpful. This would reduce the need to have many different store dialogs for each type of document.

Add data validation to store dialog
Have the ability to make validations and rules to a store dialog. It is important to prevent storing duplicated invoices for example.
The REQUIRED or not field is very basic validation. Forms already has field validation.

Add keyword and table fields to document proccesing
When you are creating a new document template, sometimes you need to capture a list and the only option available is adding text fields line by line to a keyword field. This takes time to do it and sometimes the webpage times out. We need an option that allows you to grab the text from an entire colum and split it line by line so you can turn it into a keyword field.

AutoIndex document condition preview when running a schedule
It would be helpful when creating a scheduled Auto Index job if after your conditions were set a query would run to tell you how many documents would be updated. This would prevent accidental updates of mass documents where conditions were not set correctly.

Add refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page to better monitor status
Add a refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page. On-the-fly updates are not consistent and monitoring for extended period of time. Refreshing web page brings you back to the start of the configurations page.

Fill dropdown by a Webservice
Allow to connect a select list (dropdown) with a webservice and not only with a database table or view.

Add an option per user to be able to have "Keep Entries" ticked by default on the Store options
At the moment, "Keep Entries" is unticked by default and it is not possible to select for this to be ticked by default instead. A simple change, but would help our users out.

Allow selection of Dialogs and profiles when a new field is created
You should allow the selection of dialogs and profiles when creating a new field. The field being only assigned to the standard dialogs it's not enough when costumers have 30+ profiles, 30+ dialogs and 50+ tasklists.

Workflow Designer - Add option to 'Cancel' if Error exits not connect
When Publishing a Workflow and forget to connect an Error exit, warning is displayed only with 'Publish' button (see attached).
It'd be useful to have a 'Cancel' button as well to return to Workflow and connect the missing exit instead of being forced to publish incomplete Workflow.
