Können Sie uns diese Idee bitte etwas genauer erklären. Welcher Anwendungsfall steckt denn dahinter? Sollen dann alle Dateien in den jeweiligen Bearbeitungsprogrammen geöffnet werden?

    Dear Casey!

Thank you for your idea. Have you tried to use our website search option already? This can be used to search in forum too. Just try it out. At least you can search von forum content, unfortunately not for your username as far as I have tested.

    Best Regards,

    Matthias

    Hello,

thank you for your Feedback. Could you give us more details about the desired function including your work processes where you need this function? This will make it easier to assess the idea.

300 MB seems to us as a reasonable size for one document. You can use the following options to successfully upload the document:
    1. Quick fix: Split the document before uploading and then clip them again inside the Web Client
    2. Sustainable fix: Change the maximum file size to a value higher that 300 MB. See topic 5 here: https://www.docuware.com/support_faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=14&id=1394&artlang=en&highlight=MaxRequestSizeKilobytes

    Hello Mr. Roundfield,

Thank you for your Feedback, I have some questions, however, to understand more about the process where this happens.

    1. can you specifiy which version you are using. Recently we have changed some background processes, so job should only really fail rarely (Which means the administrator has to "fix" something). There is also an automatic retry for jobs that fail(that only runs once)

    2. Why are you restarting the jobs for the customer. Can he restart the jobs himself? Or is this something he won't do.

    3. what do you mean with "It would be great if the import job didn't stop when it failed [...] but still kept going". If a job fails, there is a reason why it can not go on.
Very often changes are needed to fix a problem and it only makes sense to restart the job afterwards. Can you give some examples of failed jobs on your end where this might be useful?

    Thanks in advance
    DocuWare Product

Hello, at the moment you're able to either store the attachment name or create a quick-search configuration where you could also search for the attached filenames.

    Is that what you mean?

    Hello

    thank you for your Idea.
Can you gives us some more information about the process where this function is required?

How and at what stamp would you stamp the document. Do you want to use this function manually, (but for all pages automatically).

Does the date and time need to be applied while scanning or can it be applied lateron?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello
    Thank you for your Feedback:

we are planning to implement a new function to start an import job from a document tray in the future.

We also think about the idea to restart all jobs that were not succesful (and result in documents being imported into Standard Basket ) within DocuWare Desktop. This would it even make it easier to do a failed import job (like you described) again without having to copy files from the "Failed" directory. This feature needs to be discussed with our developers first however.

At the moment we can not say when these two features will be implemented. As soon as we have additional information we will give an update.

Thank you for sharing your idea. We have done some research but are not quite sure which area in the Web Client you are talking about. If possible, could you please post a screenshot?

    Hallo Herr Langerwiesch,

And another comment from idea initiator:

After one night sleep, we allways wake up with better sollutions. Docuware Import can be setup with multiple index data files. One of them is a DWCONTROL File.
Wy not make a DWATTACH file as well in order to attach files. Content is the unique field and the value it should have. Item solved

    Another comment from idea initiator:

To expand the import functionality to a more all round use, we would like to
    Be able to attach documents.

We use the import module often and have a great installation at a big customer. When you have documents that need to be attached to one file, you could add commands in the DWCONTROL file.

    Make a section Commands:
When there are none DWCONTROL and import work like it does today.
When there are arameters, like “Attach” and “Attachfield” and Value you would be abe to attach documents to other files. Just like COLD when a document has to many pags.

    DWCONTROL

    COMMAND= None or Attach
ATTACH Field= “SQL Table Colum Name”
    Value= “Search Value”.
When there are multiple results then it must give an error.

    Then the normal DWCONTROL Layout.

It would be great to attach documents (Hospitals, Customer Files etc ) directly with IMPORT. A VS partner wrote a little software called. It can do it to, but gives you loads of empty folders becuse of the attach afterwords.
