Create a notification
If one person is working on a document in Docuware, another person can't save any updates until the first person is out of the document. If Docuware could create a "notify" button to let the second person know when work can be saved and entered (after the first person is finished) that would be great. This would be similar to the "notify" button in Excel.

Specify initial doc version on Store
Provide for a user to choose the initial version number value for the document when storing under Version Management.
When replacing another system, documents may come with existing version numbers and need to progress from that point easily when migrated to DocuWare.

one click indexing off by default
would like to have one click indexing off by default for new users. Most users don't index much and they change fields by accident.

index select
Most sites, when you start typing in a field will show the top field in the entry box with selection list below. It would be so much easier to simply hit enter or tab when the top item is reached rather than having to click or use the arrow to move down to the line. It would speed up indexing enormously.

Add a Shortcut key for Store All to index multiple documents more quickly. The current method requires marking the documents, selecting Store, the Store dialog, the three vertical dots and finally Store All

Info(help) icon that tells user(s) that the a field is necessary
While configuring the file cabinet field, is there a way where the administrator can have an info(help) icon that tells user(s) that the said field is important because of some reasons.

Re-index selected store documents if an import configuration is changed
In some cases, Import configuration indexing doesn't work as well as expected, perhaps due to improper setting, or incorrect anchor, It would be nice to be able to re-index selected misindexed documents once the import configuration is changed

That we can rename more than one file at a time.
when we load pictures all pictures must have the same file name, but can only rename one on a trime

FC Folders: Indicate which fields require a select list and which are free form
When creating a folder view for a File Cabinet, there no indication which text fields are pulled from a closed select list and which accept any text input. This is annoying when you then try to create a new folder, only to find out when storing a file that the folder name does not match the select list.

'Store Automatically' function should use dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and others
When 'Store Automatically' is used from a Tray, all dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and 'Predefined Entries' fields and 'Automatic Numbering' are ignored.
Having the latter work when using 'Store Automatically' would be especially useful when Intelligent Indexing used in the Tray, and all 'green' documents are stored using this option.2 votesThank you for your idea. Allow Tiff's to be used as sample documents in DW Import
A client has requested to allow TIFF's to be used as Import samples in DW Import Configurations.
2 votesCurrently we are fully concentrating on PDF as file format. TIFFs can be converted into PDF easily and then used with DocuWare Import.

Display a scond column in a Select list, other than the one used for the index field
This would allow a description of the data being chosen by the user, such as GL account name for a GL number, or user name for a UserShortName, or Vendor name for a vendor ID. This would also prevent truncation of a field and violating the new Select List Only configuration.

One click copy
While indexing, would like ability to click index field name and copy the information in the field. This would eliminate the need to double click and press "Ctrl+V," speeding copying of long transaction numbers, difficult-to-spell names, etc.

Autoindex LDC queries inefficient
The LDC queries currently use ALL fields in the WHERE clause as opposed to a Primary Key. This has the potential to cause overflow errors when using an external source.
The match code field could be used as a primary key or you could certainly provide us the ability to designate a primary key.

Se requiere poder cargar una archivo csv desde la interfaz web client de Docuware. El objetivo es poder indexar o actualizar los valores de los file cabinets.

create automatic incremental number that is always consecutive
It is possible to create a auto increment field in DocuWare, however when you cancel the form before storing the document it will increment the number already. Please make it possible to create a metadata field with 100% consecutive numbering

Improve auto index speed times by running queries for each batch rather than each file
I have a local data connection setup with my ERP software, and auto index figured on a file cabinet. We are running into weird errors where auto index is failing to run and I recently discovered that auto index runs the query for each file rather than by batch.
I'm seeing query times upwards of 7 seconds per file. If we store in this particular file cabinet 100 files at a time, it would take 12 minutes to process all that data. However, it could only take as little as 7 seconds to run the query once and assign all…

Modify Index Data of multiple Documents in the Result List one after another like in the Store Dialog
If you want to add index data to multiple documents, which are different on every single document, you have to
1. double click the document in the result list
2. mark the document again and press CTRL+ALT+I to change ONE documents index-data (or add a button for "quick" access.But if you want to change multiple documents, this is very time consuming.
It should be like using the store dialog, where after modifying the next document is displayed and you can instantly move on.Therefore: Please make it possible to easily modify index data of multiple documents in a result…
