Filtering Option in the Workflow Client
If one user, e.g. accounting, has many workflow steps of the same workflow (e.g. "allocation", "declined", "approved", "to be proved", ...) he gets all this steps in one VERY big list.
The users now want to filter for one step (e.g. "to be proved") so that they can work of this peticular step and afterwards go to the next step.
So a filter Option, where you can select the shown workflow steps would be nice.
The feature will be available with the next update.

I posted a couple timeframe questions on the DocuWare forum, and Phil Robson replied within 10 minutes. Here's the URL, if you're interested.
Summary: This is 7.1, and rollout for the update with that feature is expected for 2nd quarter.

This is probably a Key-Feature for poweruser of DocuWare. This should be prioritized for the next DocuWare-Version.

This is something that is required for our implementation. Is there any way that this could be put as a priority?

Hello,
Do you know when this idea will be implemented ?

I agree it would be great to allow tasks lists to be filtered - either on the fly or preconfigured.
At present, you can at least SORT this big list by the task name.
You can also sort by any of your workflow globals or other data. You can configure the task list to show more columns and change their order (including GV_ vars, workflow WF_ vars and maybe DW_ index values - I don't recall). To do this, open the workflow and click Task List -- it's a button in the toolbar across the top.
I present this as not a solution or replacement to the idea, just a method to hopefully help.

It will be great if we have the ability of search through tasks. Users in our organization have closed to 100 tasks if no more listed in Docuware and it makes it difficult to complete tasks.

We need to be hable the filtering on the fields on the task list, for filtering many tasks in the view for one condition, for example if i want to see only the task from one provider or customer.

This should be working just like filters within excel. That would be great!
A bit pitty this item is already posted in 2014, almost 4 years ago.

I have a client (Business Owner) who wants to monitor staff - Monitor tasks is displaying +240 tasks. He cant search for tasks, nor filter them. He can search for the document, but cannot then find the task from the document. - Frustrating

We are using DocuWare Workflow for project. Some Due dates can be months ahead and the task list can become very long for the users. Although they can sort by due date it would nice if they could filter tasks to show up based on due date. For example, only showing tasks due in the next 7 days. This would be a great way for users to determine what tasks are urgent and shorten the list.

I second that!

I am glad someone has bought this up. We were thinking the same thing internally! Can become a right pain at times and customers often address this when configuring a workflow.

Not being able to search or filter within 'All Tasks' for workflow is a pain for users and administrators and is really time consuming, particularly if you have to reassign multiple invoices.
Being able to search the workflow tasks is a need for many of our clients.

Hello,
I have the same demand for my customer who asked for it was possible to have a view "admin" with all of the steps (very important to test Workflow), and a user view for only tasks "treated "as version 6-8.

Good idea! But it would also be nice to see these different steps optionally is separate lists... Or have a counter or the instances (documents) in each of the steps...
