  1. Save form changes without publishing the form.

    We should be able to save any changes made to a form without publishing it. This should work exactly like DocuWare workflows.

  2. Clear selection option in Multiple Choice field in forms.

    Currently you can initialize a multiple choice field to a default choice of none. However, a way to reset the field to none after a choice has been made would be greatly beneficial. This way if a choice is not required a user can clear the field without restarting the entire form.

  4. Make submitted DocuWare forms scrollable

    One of the things I like least about DocuWare forms is that submitted forms are often multiple pages long. I will usually use form overlays to make them look nicer, but when that's not an option, it would be nice if the resulting multipage document would scroll in that window rather than having to click the next page icon.

  5. Capitalize letters by default for especified fields

    There is some fields our clients like to have it with capitalized letters by default, a little different than field masks, it would not show an error message instead it would just capitalize the letters and record to the database with capitalized letters.

  6. Change Date Field in forms so that when a user types a dash it doesn't jump to the year

    When a user enters a date into a Date field, the dashes auto fill and tab to the next component of the date. If the user types the dash, it has the effect of jumping ahead twice.

    Additionally, if I'm entering my birthdate in most forms, I can use the calendar drop down to find the right month and date for the current year, then just go highlight the year and type over with my birth year. In DocuWare Forms, I highlight the year and when I start typing it jumps to the beginning (month component). Very weird behavior.

  7. File upload directly from webcam

    For some forms use cases it would be great to be able to take a picture using the devices camera / webcam. For mobile platforms this works well already, but on full operating systems you can only upload a document from the file system.

    Webcam based upload is a native HTML5 functionality, and an example can be found toward the bottom of this page:

    Add the ability for Form users to duplicate line items multiple times using table data—for example, to efficiently handle bulk entries such as multiple computer purchases.

  9. dropdowns

    Customers are confused by the new 7.12 forms and how they handle dropdowns. Before, they could just type text into the field as soon as they tab into it, and it would start filtering. Now, the field doesn't respond to them typing until they press Enter. This isn't a massive adjustment, but they have many, many users on the form, so re-training users is causing them headaches.

  10. Allow receiving an error when submitting a form that says the invoice number/a field is a duplicate

    It would be nice to have an error pop up when submitting or filling out a form that tells you an invoice number is a duplicate and is already entered in the system

    I inquired this phenomenon via Support Request, them I got answered that this is a specification of External PDF engine.
    I would like you to improve this specification.

  13. Formulare in Briefkorb ablegen!

    Es wäre ein wichtiger Schritt, die Möglichkeit anzubieten, die Formulare in Briefkörbe übermitteln zu können. Die Formulare kann man aktuell zu einem Ablage Dialog zuordnen (was ein Workflow auslöst). Es wird vielles vereinfachen, wenn die Formulare auch in einem Briefkorb gehen können und dann erst durch Mitarbeiter in einem Ablage Dialog indexiert werden kann.

  14. Ability to create storage box only available trough forms even if it is affected to Default Organization role

    When we create a storage box for a form we do not want it to be used from a basket even if the role is Default Organization role. This storage dialog box is only designed for a form submission

    New font choices should be added to the Merge Forms, or an ability to import fonts. The current font choices are not sufficient enough to serve all needs. For example, Calibri is a much-requested font option.

  19. Ability to create data records only (no document) from docuware Forms

    When docuware forms are used, there is no possibility of archiving only a document (for example inserting it as an attachment), but a summary document is always created with the inserted data.

    Currently, there are no fonts available in DocuWare merge form that support Japanese.
