allow readout areas between two anchors in Document processing
It would be nice to have the possibility to draw 2 anchors, and have DW Desktop Apps spanning the area in between.

Know if a document is signed with a certificate
It is important that from the viewer there was an indicative mark or from the "document processing" template a field of the filing cabinet could be indicated that would take a value depending on the result of the signature.

Provide dark mode for all DocuWare client applications
Especially, if dark mode is activated in Windows 10 it would be really great to be able to switch all DocuWare client applications to dark mode as well.

DocuWare Cloud Desktop Apps has to support install on AWS EC2 environment.
Currently, Desktop Apps is not supported for AWS EC2 environment.
As our customers, they need to prepare a Client PC for folder monitoring. As a customer's IT policy in their company, a terminal PC that always starts cannot install on company.
They want to have a PC for that in a cloud such as AWS outside the company.2 votes -
Change Log Collector, it should collect all current log files
Currently when I open a support case with DocuWare I am always asked to add log files. I do not always remember where they are. It is troublesome to always have to navigate and select the correct log files.
The Log Collector provided by DocuWare only collects files from DocuWare Desktop Apps. Wouldn't it be possible to collect all logfiles within the last 24 hours?
Sometimes I have issues with Local Data Connector, sometimes I have problems with Auto-Index. I would like to have one way how I can provide all relevant information to DocuWare support.

Implement Proxy Configuration for Desktop Apps
Currently, Desktop Apps in general and the LDC especially run into a lot of problems when connecting to DocuWare via a Proxy Server. Please implement some configuration to allow communication over a Proxy server - just settings in a config file would be enough.

DocuWare workflow email service can't send document with correct time stamp annotation
Time stamp is shown with local time correctly when user opens documents from DocuWare web client. However if the document is sent by Workflow email service, recipients will receive an incorrect time stamp document.
Please enhance DocuWare workflow to allow email service able to cater the time zone setting.1 vote -
Option to control email notifications generated by Directory User Synchronization
Every time the Directory User Synchronization Desktop App creates a new User it will send an email to the user, requesting the user to set a DocuWare password.
Several problems with the current behavior:
The Tool does not contain any warning that this email is sent to the user.
When using Active Directoy Single Sing On, there is no need for the user to even set this password.
When running a test and a production system, there is no way to know which system the mail is from.

Replace individual characters in Barcode recognition
When defining the indexing of documents in a processing configuration it can happen that e.g. a barcode is recognized with parenthesis as in (12)3456, but it would be necessary to remove these parenthesis. Currently, it is only possible to replace the entire value and not individual characters. A little extension to replace "(" by a space, remove it, or include regex functionalities would be very useful. Similarly, this applies to reading out text fields and removing hyphens in numbers, etc.

basket per import job if document cannot be filed due to mandatory fields/conditions
Hello
it should be possible to set an "error basket" per import job (configuration) in the desktop app, in which documents are stored which cannot be stored in the archive due to unfilled mandatory fields or other errors.Currently, all import job use the user's default basket.

ip address ranges reserved for private use on cloud system.
Docuware Cloud should enable reserve ip address ranges for private use as Azure already do it.

I suggest that you add a search option in the Desktop apps program.
Have the ability to search in the Import jobs within Desktop Apps. We have many locations with multiple different import jobs. Trying to find the import job that you need to change takes a lot of time scrolling though them.

program pages that should auto-delete
We have documents that we scan in and many of them have terms and conditions written on the back. My idea is to be able to program certain pages to auto delete upon scanning. You could even have an auto deleted pages tab inside the desktop app that way one could review the auto deleted pages and make the decision to either A. add it back to the document, or B. permanently delete it.

Option to only Synchronize users in a Docuware Group.
We don't want all our AD users to be added to DocuWare. There are way too many. Please give us an option in the User Synch Tool to only synch users that are in a DocuWare Group.

Customized Store Buttons
We have multiple store dialogs that we use frequently every day. Would love to have customized store buttons in the Connect to Outlook that I can set with my "go-to" store dialogs so I don't have to constantly switch back and forth. Also, individuals could pick their individual favorites, as different people use different functions frequently.

Allow formatting of Arithmetic Expressions
Allow newline & tab characters to be included into arithmetic expressions so that they can be human readable.

Make the Scan/Cancel button green on scan and gold on cancel
some time the scan/cancel button can be confusing or pressed to quickly and accidently be pressed while scanning. so I thought it would be nice to change the color when it switches back to scan as a green tab....

Allow to use Index Cleaner in DocuWare Cloud systems
Index Cleaner is a very useful tool but right now is not enable to use in DocuWare Cloud systems, so it would be great can use it with the Cloud Systems.

DocuWare Import Service Needs Error Notification Capability
The DocuWare Import Service desperately needs some kind of email notification to alert administrators when documents are not going into the system. I have been having an issue lately (I am working with support on this) where documents coming in through the import service are erroring out with a 401 error. I have no way to know this is happening without manually checking the import history or my users telling me there is something missing. Admins need some way to know there are issues so they can be resolved in a timely manner. Unresolved issues lead to users losing confidence…
