  1. "Reassign" feature in Workflow should be assigned by rights or roles

    The ability to "Reassign" a task in Workflow should not be available to all users within a workflow. This should be a admin assigned right.The "Reassign" button on the workflow should not be visible to all users.

  2. Add a feature

    Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

  3. Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes

    It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.

    As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.

    This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

  4. OR for readout and index fields in Smart Search

    Add an OR option to combine readouts and their corresponding index values. That way if any of the OR'd combos were true the search would complete.

    Currently we have to create a button for each match of AND'd fields. Sometimes this results in a lot of buttons and search time/user time moving through the buttons to find the match.

  5. Set Logging Level for Local Data Connector

    Requesting the ability to manage the logging level of the Local Data Connector logs. Currently, any event ran through the data connector is logged (including the sql query ran against the database). For one of our queries, this results in a log that grows in size by 250MB to 1GB (varies based on active purchase orders and invoices) over the course of 24 hours. Would like the ability to set this to be different levels from logging everything like it currently does, to only logging errors and critical events.   6. Why do we need to assign a file cabinet to every tray?

    When we assign users to roles (as DocuWare encourages) you can't create an Inbox via the New User Wizard, because it requires us to select a file cabinet. But since we do not want to assign file cabinets to individual users, that functionality is not usable.

  9. Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.

    First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.

    Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.

    When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

  10. Toggle WF steps active or inactive

    If I unconnect and bypass an existing step (Task or Condition, etc.) I currently have to completely erase the step before continuing and testing the WF. Then I have to completely re-key the step and it's parameters and logic to get back to the previous process. Please provide a switch on all modules to enable or simply bypass.

  11. Allow selection of location to write temp files for Request container

    When creating Request containers, the files are written to the default temp directory for DocuWare. If the Request cabinet is very large, the C:\ drive can fill up and crash. Need to be able to select an alternate location to write the temp files.

  12. I suggest you add a draw box

    Before Docuware we used paper. We had a form that had a space on the back where we could draw a diagram. This was used for maintenance to setup rooms for events so they know where to put tables and things. I tried to use the signature field but making it big caused the form to puke.

  14. Creating users with more than 200 users or 50 profiles

    Since last update, organizations with more than 200 users can't create new users via Docuware Configuration (web client), they have to do it through DW Administration, and then an email isn't sent to the new user.
    This is a functionality than existed before with the DW Cloud Portal.
    I would like to propose that Docuware remove this restriction in the Configuration panel.

  15. More Information In AutoIndex Start/Stop Dialog

    The choice for Iterated Records in an AutoIndex job is based on what is most expedient from a processing perspective. Though, when the Processed column provides a count of the iterated records, it is confusing. One wants to know the number of records updated in each data source, not the number of records in a file..

    Either more information should be provided in the AutoIndex log or it should count the number of records that were actually updated in each data source. Merely a record count of the iterated records is not of much value. It caused enough confusion for…

  16. Google Analytics OR use of analytics report to track the users

    Hello,

    Our organization uses google analytics for reporting on all our websites and applications. We would like to incorporate DocuWare into this reporting. Is this available already or planned?

  17. Mark Manually Added Users Not to Delete Automatically

    There is a way to automate the revoking of DocuWare group membership, based upon their AD Group Membership. Unfortunately the solution also deletes those manually created accounts, especially all our Administrative service accounts we've created that run our imports, and provide testing users.

    What if it was possible to Auto-Delete Users, EXCEPT those you mark not to delete.

  18. Enterprise Server needs to allow for different Workflow Engine URL based on local web server.

    Customer has a main office location (A) and a secondary location (B). Each has there own DocuWare Workflow engine instance.

    When an email notification from the workflow engine on B is emailed it uses a URL for site A, site A also uses a URL for A.

    A needs workflow URL's for A
    B needs workflow URL's for B

    Cause: A & B are different domains and users of B do not have access to A through the company network.

  19. Create pop-out box when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source

    Currently when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source (i.e. Select List) the field is locked and you can only see so much of a longer query

  20. Put Intelligent Indexing as a Column (like in Store Dialogs table).

    Show Intelligent Indexing lightbulb as a column for Document Trays (the same way they appear for Store dialogs). This little thing will help so much IRL - like when there are dozens of trays.
