Set Logging Level for Local Data Connector
Requesting the ability to manage the logging level of the Local Data Connector logs. Currently, any event ran through the data connector is logged (including the sql query ran against the database). For one of our queries, this results in a log that grows in size by 250MB to 1GB (varies based on active purchase orders and invoices) over the course of 24 hours. Would like the ability to set this to be different levels from logging everything like it currently does, to only logging errors and critical events. So this logging control would be similar to the logging level…

Disable "Create Data File" as a User Option
Too many times I've seen users accidentally index as a data file, when they meant to index an image in their tray. Maybe there could be a way to disable this "feature" as 99.9% of my customers would never intent to store only data.

Notifications to show value of a certain field
we have the "Show value of this field as a link" option in the message section of a notification.
I want to be able to add just the value of the field without a link embedded to it.

Administrator: Performance Indicators
It would be nice to have a dashboard in the admin tool with key performance indicators, such as Documents stored for the day, Maximum concurrent users, Number of registered users, # inactive users that didnt use Docuware in 3 months), current logged in users, data in for day (vs historical average), data out for day (vs historical average), Available storage (with estimated time before storage is full), Available resources, Critical errors (servers, workflows, etc.)

allow configuration of teams and team leads for easy approval workflows.
For Docuware to know who the manager of anyone else is, would be more efficient for approvals, example travel requisitions or leave approvals.

allow us to use different fonts or text colours
This is a fairly simple idea: allow us to use different fonts or text colours in the decision forms.
Use case: an invoice that's part of an AP approval workflow fails validation and we'd like the reason for the validation-failure to be in red text to draw the user's attention to it.

19 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.
First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.
Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.
When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

Why do we need to assign a file cabinet to every tray?
When we assign users to roles (as DocuWare encourages) you can't create an Inbox via the New User Wizard, because it requires us to select a file cabinet. But since we do not want to assign file cabinets to individual users, that functionality is not usable.

When using an XML file to clone a file cabinet, the dialog permissions aren't set.
Dialog assignments need to get copied as well when copying a file cabinet

Improve connector lines
Connector lines are impossible to work with and make look logical. They move on their own to mess up the WF when any step is moved or removed. A great model for the designer would be the connector lines in Visio. Please improve the designer with useable, logical and clear connector line composition logic.

WF Steps as templates
Once I've created a WF step, ex., Task or Assign to, etc., I'd like to copy it and use it as a template for use in later steps in the overall WF. Please add this feature.

Toggle WF steps active or inactive
If I unconnect and bypass an existing step (Task or Condition, etc.) I currently have to completely erase the step before continuing and testing the WF. Then I have to completely re-key the step and it's parameters and logic to get back to the previous process. Please provide a switch on all modules to enable or simply bypass.

Allow the creation of Data Records from Workflow Manager/Designer.
I have a need to create two 'Numbers' from based on a condition. If IndexField A is not empty create the 'Number'. If Indexfield B is not empty create the 'Number'. It would be good enough for the customer that one or two Data Records are created using the data

Allow shared mailboxes in connect to mail
I've been informed that shared mailboxes do not work with Connect to Mail.
However with the move to Exchange Online, and it being licensed per user, we have to use shared mailboxes not user accounts with a mailbox attached.
Being able to use shared mailboxes would reduce cost and user management complexity.17 votes -
Creating users with more than 200 users or 50 profiles
Since last update, organizations with more than 200 users can't create new users via Docuware Configuration (web client), they have to do it through DW Administration, and then an email isn't sent to the new user.
This is a functionality than existed before with the DW Cloud Portal.
I would like to propose that Docuware remove this restriction in the Configuration panel.1 vote
