  1. Desktop notifications

    Windows Desktop Notifications should be a thing, in the same way as E-Mail notifications are. If one has Desktop Apps installed or allowed the WebClient to send notifications, a User should be able to receive Desktop notifications in addition to Mail notifications.

  2. Import configuration for Cloud FTP

    DocuWare Cloud offers an FTP Server to use as an import source. This is very useful for small businesses who do not have on premise resources to run Desktop Apps Import 24/7. However, FTP Import does not allow dividing or indexing documents. Being able to assign a DW Import configuration to an FTP folder would be a big help to such customers.

  3. Add a feature

    Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

  4. Create Sectional Header in Store Dialog

    If the store dialog has many fields 50+, it would be useful to the end-user to have it in sections with sectional headers

  5. DocuWare Cloud: Add select list for users in specific groups.

    In on-premise solutions, we can create custom queries in SQL that allow select lists to be dynamically generated to show only users in certain groups. In cloud systems, since we do not have access to the database, we cannot create these select lists. It would be great if one of the DocuWare built-in select lists was users of a group, where each group could be its own select list.

  6. Allow Dynamic date ranges for Document Relations

    Add the ability to add dynamic date ranges in Document Relations. In other words, add the ability to show documents where the store date is within the last 30 days or a custom index field like due date is within the next 30 days.

  7. Multi column select list filtered by hided fields

    I set a multicolumn select list to a field and added a filter to another field that has a fixed value.
    it would be nice if, hiding the fixed field, the filter continued to work.

  8. Set Logging Level for Local Data Connector

    Requesting the ability to manage the logging level of the Local Data Connector logs. Currently, any event ran through the data connector is logged (including the sql query ran against the database). For one of our queries, this results in a log that grows in size by 250MB to 1GB (varies based on active purchase orders and invoices) over the course of 24 hours. Would like the ability to set this to be different levels from logging everything like it currently does, to only logging errors and critical events. So this logging control would be similar to the logging level…

    Customer's want to have the sender address as their own company when email documents within workflows.

  10. Disable "Create Data File" as a User Option

    Too many times I've seen users accidentally index as a data file, when they meant to index an image in their tray. Maybe there could be a way to disable this "feature" as 99.9% of my customers would never intent to store only data.

  11. Notifications to show value of a certain field

    we have the "Show value of this field as a link" option in the message section of a notification.

    I want to be able to add just the value of the field without a link embedded to it.

  13. Administrator: Performance Indicators

    It would be nice to have a dashboard in the admin tool with key performance indicators, such as Documents stored for the day, Maximum concurrent users, Number of registered users, # inactive users that didnt use Docuware in 3 months), current logged in users, data in for day (vs historical average), data out for day (vs historical average), Available storage (with estimated time before storage is full), Available resources, Critical errors (servers, workflows, etc.)

  15. allow configuration of teams and team leads for easy approval workflows.

    For Docuware to know who the manager of anyone else is, would be more efficient for approvals, example travel requisitions or leave approvals.

  17. allow us to use different fonts or text colours

    This is a fairly simple idea: allow us to use different fonts or text colours in the decision forms.

    Use case: an invoice that's part of an AP approval workflow fails validation and we'd like the reason for the validation-failure to be in red text to draw the user's attention to it.

  19. Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.

    First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.

    Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.

    When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

  20. Why do we need to assign a file cabinet to every tray?

    When we assign users to roles (as DocuWare encourages) you can't create an Inbox via the New User Wizard, because it requires us to select a file cabinet. But since we do not want to assign file cabinets to individual users, that functionality is not usable.
