Workflow Designer: Assign a task to a role expect specific users
We would like the possibility to assign a task to any member of a role, except some specific users. The use case would be in a 4-eyes principle workflow, where in a same role one user must perform an action and another user (not especially an n+1) from the same role must review the action.

Allow selection of location to write temp files for Request container
When creating Request containers, the files are written to the default temp directory for DocuWare. If the Request cabinet is very large, the C:\ drive can fill up and crash. Need to be able to select an alternate location to write the temp files.

More Information In AutoIndex Start/Stop Dialog
The choice for Iterated Records in an AutoIndex job is based on what is most expedient from a processing perspective. Though, when the Processed column provides a count of the iterated records, it is confusing. One wants to know the number of records updated in each data source, not the number of records in a file..

Mark Manually Added Users Not to Delete Automatically
There is a way to automate the revoking of DocuWare group membership, based upon their AD Group Membership. Unfortunately the solution also deletes those manually created accounts, especially all our Administrative service accounts we've created that run our imports, and provide testing users.
What if it was possible to Auto-Delete Users, EXCEPT those you mark not to delete.

Create forms with a organization template
like a fusion into "form of fusion" with "traditional forms". For example, I upload the PDF template file and add items on this template to capture information. In this way, the user of a web client looks at a friendly interface.

Allow to configure automatic stamps with blackground colour in Workflow Manager
As you can not set an specific location for the automatic stamps in Workflow Manager, sometimes it can be stamped over the text of the document....if you can select a colour for the background of the stamp, at least you can see better the text included in the stamp

Create pop-out box when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source
Currently when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source (i.e. Select List) the field is locked and you can only see so much of a longer query

Put Intelligent Indexing as a Column (like in Store Dialogs table).
Show Intelligent Indexing lightbulb as a column for Document Trays (the same way they appear for Store dialogs). This little thing will help so much IRL - like when there are dozens of trays.

Add dialog checking to the Integrity Check tool
The integrity check tool does not scrutinize dialogs for things like duplicate fields, or fields that don't exist in the file cabinet. These problems can happen if there is a database timeout when adding or deleting a field in a file cabinet. When it happens, the only way to repair it is manually inspect the settings column for each dialog in the database.

We can create links on a form to open a web capable application (http://...) but not a file link (file:///.....)

Add an audit tool to locate Jobs
Import jobs can run under multiple users on the server and/or on any workstation. Currently there's no way to find them without logging in on each machine with each user to find connections and jobs. I recommend adding a tool on the server to audit all jobs connecting its incoming Desktop App receipts like Imports.

Fixed location option for workflow stamps
We have need to have approval stamps located in a particular location on the documents in the workflow. Being able to set a static location for a particular workflow task stamp would be nice.

allow list-type Role variables to be used as select lists in tasks
When creating a decision as part of a task and adding the various fields to the form, we can tie a select list to a field (for all the usual reasons). However, we can only use the select lists we've configured in the Admin Tool (or configurations). It would be great if we could use lists that we dynamically create as part of the workflow using the new Role variable. This would enable more customization of the workflow decisions, and since we already have the list-type Role global variable it might not be that hard to just allow the usage…

Google Analytics OR use of analytics report to track the users
Hello,
Our organization uses google analytics for reporting on all our websites and applications. We would like to incorporate DocuWare into this reporting. Is this available already or planned?

Cloud- Remaining Storage Notifications
Ability to add a second person to receive automatic notifications when available cloud storage is low. (Recommendation from George Junior Republic.)

User Productivity Reporting
DocuWare should include some basic reporting for administrative purposes. Our area tracks 40+ users per week to see if they are meeting their scanning requirements. Right now, I do this via the SQL backend and a few queries, but it would be great is I did not have to do this every week. Tracking users via the web interface is not viable when you have so many active daily scan users.

Merge and Web Form
We have several forms where part of the data gets merged onto a filled out form that we give to the client, and the rest of the information is lost. I've worked around this by creating a basic word document to hold on to the excess information that is only used internally, however it would be nice if it was possible to use the merge form for the information you want on to a specific document, AND the web form layout that captures ALL the data.

Date/time for forms
It would be nice to have a Date/Time form ability instead of simply just Date. This would work great for forms used for meeting scheduling
11 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Form filling checks and crosses
When mapping fields to a merge doc, can we have the option to have ticks, or checks as well as the existing "X" ?
The reason is that when using a Checkbox field in form design, and then mapping that to a merge form the data changes from a "tick" for yes on the web form, to an "X" which can be interpreted as a "No" on the merge form.
