  1. Allow entering a description when scanning batches of documents to a tray

    Users are accustomed to entering a description when scanning multiple documents to a tray and this later helps them select them for indexing. This description may be a batch number, a date, a location from where the documents were received, the operator's name or any text at all that helps organize the documents. The current functionality only allows editing the document name after it is already in the tray and only one document at a time.

  2. Document Tray custom columns (with Intelligent indexing)

    When intelligent indexing enabled for particular Document Tray, please let us select custom columns so we can use Filter / Sort.

    If the intelligent indexing knows the value, it should appear in the custom column.
    Example: invoice processing - intelligent indexing automatically indexes "Supplier name". I want to be able to see "Supplier name" column in Document Tray and be able to use filter / sort in this column.

    Add the ability to edit index data in a tray. We can view it today but not edit. We should have same ability as in the Search Results Dialog.

    Add a tab for Document Trays in User management so it is consolidated in one place. This would make managing document tray permissions much easier.

  5. Locking an open document in the Document Tray

    Our customer often work on shared document tray to which a many people have access to.
    Unfortunately very common happened that the same document is opened in Document Tray by two or more persons and they try to store it in Docuware.
    The one who is faster will store it and the other one will receive an error message that such document does not exist anymore.

    So we ask to add functionality of locking an access to the document in Document Tray if someone opens such a document in Document Tray.

  6. Allow unstapling of multiple documents in web basket

    In 6.5 web basket, would be nice to be able to unstaple multiple documents. Current naming convention is "Unstapled Document (X)" where (X) is page #. Could be redone as something like "Unstapled Document 'original name here' (X)"

  7. Add document capture datetime as index field

    Sometime customer needs to know when document is captured - arrived in Document tray. Now when document is stored this infromation is not accessible and customer not have way to check how long time document was in document tray before stored. In some situations it would ne neccessary to keep this value as system entry data.

  9. autoindex document tray

    Document Trays should have the ability to autoindex when documents come in and either automatically store to File Cabinet or Pre-Index the documents as they arrive. This would alleviate the need to setup folder imports for the most part.

  10. unmatched OCR autoidentification

    Can you create a notification when OCR auto identification fails, for "no matching configuration for certain documents" would there be a way to notify end users?

  11. Only allow storage box in relation with a file cabinet

    For a document in a document tray, the user must be allow to use only storage box define for the file cabinet choosed while the cration of this document tray.
    That could be more confortable in use of th tray, non possibilities to store the document in a wrong file cabinet.

  12. Set custom boxes background

    Some users have differents research boxes in the same tray. But these boxes are very similar (sames fields with 1 or 2 prefilled fields).
    They often don't see they are not in the right box for their research.
    If we could set a background color for the differents boxes in a same tray it would be helpfull for users.

  13. disable the enter key when storing documents

    I want the enter key to only be used to add index entries; not store the document. I click the data on the scanned documents and press enter to add it as an index entry--sometimes I will think I have clicked the data but my mouse wasn't all the way on the data and I will, out of habit, press enter and the whole document is stored when it wasn't ready to be stored. Just make it a user option so each user can decide what they want the enter key to do. You should encompass more keyboard shortcuts.

  14. PLEASE add a dialog to confirm commit of change to multiple index entries

    We had a client that mistakenly committed three index changes to over 2,000 entries. She intended just to update 1 record. She had no warning that this was about to happen. Please(!) DocuWare add a warning that the Save will affect X number of records. Or allow Admin to turn off the ability to edit multiple entries. Thank you.

  16. Connect a resultdialog to a Document Tray

    If you store a document via de Connect 2 outlook for instance (or copy form a file cabinet) and you have indexes entered (manually or intelligent indexing) you want to see the indexes in the listview. Is it possible to assign a result dialog to a Document Tray? This will give a confguration option that will help de users to process the documents faster.

  17. Filter by names of document trays (or also file cabinets)

    A customer - accounting company - has hundreds of customers and each has it´s own doc. tray. It would be helpful if they were able to search by name in document tray list.

  18. Send Request - use users first and last name

    My client uses a numeric code to identify its users. This involves more than 1,000 employees able to work on DocuWare in the medium term. So the possibility of using the recipients' first and last names instead of their identifier is more than necessary for them.

  20. Give the ability/option to import nested attachments on email for General Email

    Give the ability for an option in the General Email to handle/separate nested attachments. When an email is attached to an email with the invoice attached, it will only import the email and not the invoice. The imported email will be blank.
