  1. I suggest you add ability to store .zip files!

    I suggest you add ability to store .zip files! we have need to store zip files supplied by our clients. it takes alot of time to extract the files and then have to send up to docuware. outlook to docuware should allow zip file storage sent thats an attachment in an email. it only sends up a list that whats inside the zip file.

  2. Be able to know the space of each file cabinet

    Right now we can know the system space, but not the file cabinets space. If we want to know which is the biggest file cabinet, we should open a ticket with DocuWare Support.

  4. Manage alerts or limits for uploaded documents in cabinet or tray

    To be able to manage alerts for types of documents uploaded and especially more important for their size, I am very interested to know that my users do not upload files of more than X mb in a specific file cabinet for example, or that they only upload PDFs.

    This can be done in two ways, by alerts and leaving the user or with permissions in the filing cabinet, and that you put some filters to the filing cabinet of allowed limits.

  9. [Document Processing] extract indexes from specific areas on documents other than PDF files

    Currently, indexes can only be extracted from specified areas on PDF and XML files. I would like this functionality to be available for other file types, such as Word documents, as well.

    We would like to have a supported connector for Dell Boomi instead of having to create an RPA process and intermediary process to handle integrations via flat file imports and indexing jobs.

  13. We would like the "Bookmarks" included in the PDF original document to be maintained even when downloaded with DocuWare.

    When we download from DocuWare as an Original Document, "Bookmarks" are maintained, but when we download from DocuWare using Download with annotation, etc., "PDF Bookmarks information" is lost.

    We understand that the "Bookmarks" information will disappear because DocuWare creates a new PDF. However, since "Bookmarks" are often valuable information, I would like the original "Bookmarks" to be inherited even if a new PDF is created.

  14. Allow to change printer display name from "DocuWare Printer PS" on Printer List.

    Background :
    The customer's PC uses DocuWare Printer PS, but they also have a printer with a similar display name, such as "DocuWorks Printer".
    They want to specifically rename DocuWare Printer PS to avoid confusion.

    At the moment, According to DocuWare R&D team, and they have confirmed that changing the name of Printer PS is not supported.

  15. FedRamp - Second Submission, Due to Timeout Issue

    FedRamp is a significant requirement for many Fed and now many State customers in the US. DocuWare will need this to compete in the cloud with these markets, which are very large.

  17. Move "Touch mode" button all the way down PLEASE!

    Please move the "Touch mode" button under or above "Help and info". It happens every day that I click on that and in the last 2 years I never used it and 99% of all our users dont use it as well.

    It is not possible to change the column name of the folder once created. To change it, you need to create a new folder profile again.

    By linking the folder function and the result list, you can change the column name.

  19. To be able to move files to cold storage after a duration

    It would be interesting to have a second level of storage for long term storage and documents wich will mainly never be accessed anymore but need to be stored for 10 years for example.
    The file would be automatically transfered to this cold storage by setting a rule to move then after a duration.
    I have been inspired by the object storage offer of Scaleway, it would be interesting that Docoware offer a similar approach to their offers Object Storage (Standard) → Cold Storage (Glacier)
