workflow versionning
As an integrator, I waste time managing the different version of DocuWare with Workflow. I would like it to be possible to have a workflow and for it to automatically adapt to the version of the client's desktop apps. Normally with application of this type, a version 1.1 must be able to manage a version 1.0, on DocuWare this basic standard is not on and this wastes a lot of time...

select list
Allow Numeric Field and Date Fields in Select List used in Form. This would be helpful in certain use case Scenarios like conveyance reimbursement, Local Conveyance etc., So that user can select the dates and amounts from Select list.

Recycle Bin
Items we delete from DocuWare are archived, for this reason we do not need to keep items in the recycle bin for 30 days. We suggest to be able to amend the time period to keep or to activate or deactivate the functionality as it does take extra storage which we now have to manually sit an delete. A search option on the deleted items will also be handy to make it easy to restore a specific item.

Handwriting OCR improvement
OCR has come great lengths in handwriting OCR but docuware is still 7+ years back, improvement would be greatly appreciated

Add Collaps Arrow at the vertical divide Bar
As a user, I would like to collapse the search area or viewer directly. This is especially useful when I use many columns or want to enlarge the document in the viewer. With a Collaps Arrow these areas would be enlarged immediately. This feature is available in many applications e.g. jira.

Open DocuWare Webforms from DocuWare Mobile App
I have prospects and customers needing to open DW Webforms from the DW Mobile App. They need to fill out forms, with attached photos and signatures, in the field on mobile devices recording incidents, accidents, and inspection results.
Opening webforms (many different types of forms) directly in a mobile device browser is unmanageable.
Authentication and navigation when Logging onto the DW Web Client from a mobile device is confusing and greatly detracts from " APP " experience that today's workers expect.
Can we add a "FORMS" tab on the DW Mobile Client toolbar like the one on the Web Client.

Add back the Segoe Script font into DocuWare cloud for stamps
Prior to 7.4,we had the ability to select Segoe Script font for stamps. This handwriting like font was very useful for creating signature stamps where a true digital signature was not required.

Intelligent Indexing or Document Processing on Documents Stored from Email
When email watch folder is connected to DocuWare you can store to a tray or cabinet. From the connection you can ONLY index the document based on email properties (TO, FROM, TIME, SUBJECT, ETC)
I have standard format emails with the data I need in the emails I would like the ability to store directly to the file cabinet to trigger the workflow with a document that is fully indexed.
This could also be accomplished by allowing processing configurations to index emails.
As of now, the only way this is sorta possible is if it goes to the tray and…

Allow workflows to be viewed between DocuWare versions
As a DocuWare engineer I often go back and forth between different customer exploring workflow issues.
As such I have to re-install DocuWare workflow designer several times a day to avoid the 'mismatch versions' error.I don't want to change the workflow, just view it; couldn't we make that backwards compatible?

Autofill form fields with Workflow variables
It would be helpful if we could autofill Form fields with data from Workflow. Example: If I generate a link/URL in Workflow to open a Form, the URL could contain Workflow variables with corresponding Fields which are then auto filled in the Form.

Filter empty dates and numbers in task list
It would be great if users could filter documents in the task lists where the date is empty. For example i want to search for all invoices where the date is empty. Sure you can sort them ascending but an explicit search would also be great.

staple after multiple documents are stored
I would like to be able to staple two stored documents together. I didn't know that I wanted these together until after I had indexed and stored them.

Require task decision with stamp, hide confirm button
For documents that require a signature stamp in a specific location we need the option to require a stamp to confirm a task decision. Currently, you can complete a decision with a stamp but if you use the confirm button instead the document does not get the required signature stamp.

Global viewer setting
Great tool for administrators of Cloud instances would be to have an option to setup a global viewer default setting, eg. default viewer setting to open documents with index dialog in new window.
That way we don't need to educate new users to change this setting manually.

Create an Add-In for Outlook.live.com (web mail, Office365 etc)
Working remotely isn't going away. Microsoft continues to push Office365 and has introduced a web-based desktop client. We need a way to store emails and attachments in DW when away from desk-top apps. Please create an Add-In for Outlook.

Calculated text in forms
It would be nice if we could have calculated text elements in forms. These elements would appear the same as a fixed text field but instead could be the result of a calculation much like we can with single line text elements.
The benefit would be a more clean and elegant look. Placing data into read only single line text fields are ok but looks a little bit like an afterthought.

set individual annotations
Currently, the annotations don't work individually, when you add something is automatically merged with the document. I request this feature.

Make an addition with one click indexing
When you are filling up a table with amounts using the One Click Indexing, for example.
Would'nt be great to be able to do additions ?
For example I have an invoice with 10 rows and I want to use the 3 first rows to create an unique row in my table field. When using the one click indexing with the ctrl+click, i'm able to concatenate each of my click in one unique field.
When this field would be a floating type, it would be great if the same ctrl+click was additing up each floats instead of concatenate them, so…3 votes
