MAPI - Enable multi-windowing when sharing documents by email from DocuWare WebApp
Dear all,
Currently, the window opened by DocuWare when sharing documents by email blocks all use of Outlook, which is extremely frustrating and restrictive for our customers.
According to the documentation in the link below, MAPI allows you to activate or deactivate this modal usage mode. This is what Microsoft describes in the note below, using available constants such as ‘DIALOG_MODAL’.

Add functionality to display formatting from the "Review Changes: Markup All" feature in Microsoft Word
As of DocuWare 7.11, DocuWare is only able to display "Simple Markups" from Microsoft Word, even if Markup All is selected.

Allow the admin to reset passwords for users in User Management
Prior to 7.11 the administrator was able to rese the users' passwords themselves in the User Management tab. This has been changed to only allowing the admin to send password reset emails. Alliowing the admin to change the password is incredibly helpful.

Add the ability for Form users to duplicate line items multiple times using table data—for example, to efficiently handle bulk entries such as multiple computer purchases.

DocuWare Configurations - License List
Previously in DocuWare Configurations under Product Overview, there was a listing of Licenses with the users assigned to each license and then open licenses where we could assign a new user. That section appears to have been removed now. It appears that only place we can see License information now is under User Management by going into each individual user and clicking on the Licenses tab. Is there another location where we can access a list of licensed users? If not, can an additional column be added to the Users list with a checkbox indicating if the user has a…

DocuWare Form Table Fields can control with Behavior
Hope DocuWare can update the features of Table Fields in DocuWare Forms with an option to control the table fields in Behavior. Which makes this table fields in web form more flexible and will only appear if needed.

Add the ability to use a user's email to retrieve the associated UserName and/or UserID via a GET API call in Workflow Designer.
Often the email address is the only data we have for a user. In order to route workflow to the user, we need to be able to do a JSON lookup of the user from the email address. At this time it is not possible.

Allow selection of multiple fields and merge forms in docuware forms.
I have an enrollment form that fills out several merge forms. Some of the merge forms are recreated on a monthly bases and resubmitted. It would be nice if I could easily make the original form and then copy it and highlight all the stuff I don't need and delete it at once rather than each and every item. It would also be nice if I could use the original workflow with these merge forms as well. This could also be used to select several items and change the behavior all at once for those of us who forget to…

dropdowns
Customers are confused by the new 7.12 forms and how they handle dropdowns. Before, they could just type text into the field as soon as they tab into it, and it would start filtering. Now, the field doesn't respond to them typing until they press Enter. This isn't a massive adjustment, but they have many, many users on the form, so re-training users is causing them headaches.

Numeric Data Type in Table Fields
Either allow casting of cabinet numeric fields to decima in workflow tables or allow numeric data types in table fields. This discrepancy between allowable data types limits the filtering of data in tables.

Make fields in Table fields required based on values from other fields in the row..
Hi. Make fields required dynamically based on values from the same row of fields(or from a lookup into a system/config file cabinet) ex..
in many AP solutions you have rules in the accounting where ex a specific Account requires that ex field purpose/department needs to be filled out.. and on some Accounts its not required. it would be great if you could control this behavior ex via a lookup into a datasource..2 votes -
Stop workflow from Workflow Designer "Active Instance" tab

Stop workflow from workflow designer Waiting Instances tab
In Workflow designer, there is an option to stop a workflow from "Active Instances" tab, why is the same is not available in the "Waiting Instances" tab. We only have Continue Action. this may lead to infinite loop sometimes as you continue, condition is not fulfilled in the workflow and come back to Waiting Instance.

Invoice Date - Option to restrict dates
It would be useful to have the option to restrict the invoice date when storing, to a particular range of date. ie the financial year.

Add possibility to change timeserver for signatures in Stamps
In Switzerland, there is a legal requirement, when timestamping a signature on a stamp, that a Swiss certificed server should be used. We would like to be able to specify this timeserver in the stamp with signature configuration, and be able to count how many stamps with signature have been made over a period

Allow the use of Multi-Column Select Lists in Folder Dialog advanced settings
When creating a nested folder structure, it would be more convenient to allow for multi-column select lists such that we can specify what named folders in layer 2, for instance, exist in a given folder in layer 1:
For a structure:
F1 | F2
a1 | b1
a1 | b2
a2 | b3In folder a1, there are folders b1 and b2, and in folder a2, there is a folder b3.

Implement unstapple & stapple, removal functionalities after the document is stored in order to manage pages if needed.
To enhance customer experience and document management, there should be an adaptation of the already existent functionalities when the document is already stored. By so, the users could unstapple & stapple, remove pages if needed.
On customer side, this could be easily controlled with Version control within the file cabinet, so the integrity of the tool is not questionable.1 vote
