The “Validation” tab in DocuWare v7.14 should be hidden by default unless it is configured.
Background:
- The “Validation” tab is currently displayed in the user interface without prior announcement or feature explanation, which may cause some confusion for users.
- In DocuWare, elements such as “Lists” and “Folders” are typically not shown in the user interface unless they are configured.
- However, the “Validation” tab appears to be visible even when it is not configured, which feels different from the behavior users are familiar with.
- In addition, DocuWare IDP is not currently available in the Japanese market, so having a non-usable feature constantly visible may lead to misunderstandings or unnecessary inquiries.Request:

Allow for Duplicate Detection from the Tray
Intelligent Indexing already captures information like the Vendor and Invoice Number. Why not allow for Duplicate Detection starting with the Tray. Even if the Related link is made available, that would be helpful

Manual Adjustment of Connector Lines in Web Workflow Designer
In the current Web Workflow Designer, connector lines between activities are automatically routed. However, users cannot manually adjust the shape of these lines, such as bend points, curves, or routing paths.
This limitation makes it difficult to maintain clear and readable workflows,
especially in complex scenarios where multiple activities and connections overlap.It would be highly beneficial to allow users to manually adjust connector lines (e.g., moving bend points or customizing routing paths), or provide an option to switch between automatic and manual routing.

The IP Preconfigured Solution does not use the built-in Out of Office feature found within each users' Profile & Settings. Please allow the ability to disable or hide this feature.

Allow administrators to set default column widths for table-type index fields
We would like to request a feature that allows administrators to preconfigure the width of each column in table-type index fields.
At present, users can manually resize the columns on the index editing screen and similar pages, and their settings are preserved after reloading the browser. However, administrators cannot define the default column widths in advance.
For better usability and consistency across users, we would appreciate the ability for administrators to set the initial width of each column beforehand.

Import CSV into Index Table
We use DocuWare to manage our incoming invoice process. As part of the workflow, accountants must populate the allocation lines in an index table, see the attached screenshot. In some cases, an invoice may require more than 80 allocation lines.
Manually entering these lines is very time-consuming and prone to errors.

Improve Layout Preservation During Workflow Migration
When workflows created in the Desktop Apps version of Workflow Designer are migrated to the Web Workflow Designer, the layout and positioning of activities, branches, and connections can become significantly distorted.
This issue is particularly noticeable in complex workflows and can result in the following challenges:
- Activity positions are substantially altered after migration.
- The overall flow becomes difficult to follow due to reduced visual clarity.
- The original design intent and process structure are harder to understand.
- Considerable effort is required to manually reorganize the layout after migration.

In the current “Folder” view, I believe it is not possible to generate a URL link for each individual folder.
If URL links for folders could be generated, it would make it much easier to register multiple documents related to a main document.
This is definitely a feature we would like to have. Please implement it as soon as possible.

Request for Product Enhancement: Enable Scheduled Refresh for DocuWare Power BI Connector
The DocuWare Power BI Connector does not support scheduled refresh.
We have been informed through DocuWare Support that this is due to the current product specification.
However, scheduled refresh is essential in order to always view the most up-to-date information on Power BI dashboards. Without this capability, it is difficult to operate dashboards effectively in a production environment.
We strongly request an enhancement to the DocuWare Power BI Connector to enable scheduled refresh. This improvement would significantly increase the usability and value of the product.SRNumber : SR-282397-B8X2W

Currently DocuWare is not able to create a connector for Microsoft Power BI supporting scheduled refresh.
Microsoft only allows "Certified Connectors" for their Power BI Service. The hurdles for getting certified were not reachable in the past for DocuWare.

How can I convert multiple EML files to PDF without doing them one by one?
I have a fairly large collection of EML files that I need to archive as PDFs. I initially thought about opening each email in an email client and using Print > Save as PDF, but that seems impractical once you have hundreds or thousands of messages. Similar questions come up in forums because bulk processing is much more convenient than handling every email individually.

How do you migrate only selected PST data to Office 365?
I’m planning a PST migration where we don’t want to move every historical email into Microsoft 365. Some users have years of archived messages, and importing everything would add unnecessary data.
Microsoft 365’s Import Service now provides filtering options for PST imports, including filtering by item age and message type.

Best way to migrate large IMAP mailboxes to Microsoft 365?
I'm working on an IMAP-to-Microsoft 365 project involving several fairly large mailboxes. The initial migration works, but as the mailbox size increases, I'm seeing migration batches take much longer and occasionally finish with skipped folders or missing items.
Microsoft's own troubleshooting material acknowledges that IMAP migrations can encounter missing folders and missing individual items.
For anyone who has dealt with this, what is your preferred approach to Migrate IMAP to Office 365 for larger mailboxes? Would you continue retrying the native migration batches, or move to a dedicated migration utility?

I suggest that you increase the number of fields available for the "Custom Text Selection Only" option in Intelligent Indexing.
The current limit of two fields is often insufficient for our usage. Since OCR results are not always accurate, users frequently need to correct index values manually or select them from predefined lists before storing documents. As a result, there are cases where suggested values appear to be influenced by previously entered data rather than the actual text contained in the document.
To avoid this issue, multiple fields may need to be configured to learn only from One Click Indexing selections. However, the current limit of two fields does not provide enough flexibility to support these requirements.

Could a Thunderbird filter be hiding my missing Inbox messages?
I had an interesting Thunderbird problem where certain emails seemed to disappear from my Inbox, but searching for them still produced results. That made me wonder whether the messages were actually deleted or simply being hidden or moved.
I found a recent Mozilla support discussion with a very similar situation. The user could locate messages with Thunderbird's quick filter even though they weren't appearing normally in the Inbox, and folder repair was eventually suggested.

Create an index field search tool in the Dialogs and Database Fields tab of the file cabinets
We have file cabinets with many index fields, and I think an index field search function in the dialogs and on the Database Fields tab would be very helpful.

Add Stamps to Multiple Documents in workflow (not using API)
We would like an option in Workflow Designer and standard stamping to apply a workflow stamp either to the first page only or to all pages of a document. For example, when a user approves a batch of invoices, the stamp is currently applied only to the first page. If the document contains multiple pages, we need the ability to apply the same stamp, including workflow comments and user information, to every page without using an API. Offer a key command to open in offfice 365 for the web
If you highlight a document and hit ctrl+alt+I it will edit index entries ctrl+alt+w will bring up document history. There are several of these key commands. It would be helpfull if there was a key command to edit the document in office 365 for the web.
