message bus
Is there any way to separate DocuWare from needing to depend on the Windows Message Bus? We are getting so tired of having to constantly needing to clear the message bus for our customers.

Modify index entries directly within result list
It would save some clicks if you can modify index entries of a document directly within the result list, instead of hitting right click > change index entries.
Similar to renaming a file in the document trays via key "F2".1 vote -
Indexing Pulls More Than Needed
When storing a document into a cabinet using Web Client, the user is not able to highlight text from the document if the text is spread over two lines. The behaviour of the indexing is that it grabs the entire text on both lines rather than the required words.

Index value fields
Die Userrolleneinstellung bei Index Fields funktioniert im Workflow nicht, weil es die Option "Can be empty" oder "new entry" nicht gibt. Der User hat im Workflow nicht die Berechtigung etwas zu genehmigen, falls er seine Rolle im Index Value Field angelegt wurde.
Nur wenn man eine neue Rolle im Custom anlegt, dann funktionert workflow. Hier gibt es Anpassungsbedarf bzw. ich sehe das als Bug von Docuware an.

Optional Cloud Expiration Countdown Login Dialog
Please provide an optional count down for clients so they know when their DocuWare Cloud will expire. This should be enabled by the reseller on a case by case basis. I believe it should be offered when the client logs on with 30 days to go. Each time they log on with 30 or less days of service, a dialog could come up presenting the number of days remaining.

Allow wildcard to monitor multiple folders for monitoring in Connect to Outlook
When using monitored folders for storage in Connect to Outlook allow for wildcard monitoring to monitor subfolders of the monitored folder. We have users that store emails to DocuWare as well as using Archiving in Outlook. MOST of the time the user has subfolders in their email which need to be monitored for storage to DocuWare. Currently having to setup individual monitored folders to obtain this objective.

Automatically logout from windows explorer client
The DocuWare-Windows-Explorer Client should logout an user immediately after closing the windows explorer. Right now it takes a lot of time until the client license frees up.

remove default select lists from dates and other fields
Select lists make no sense on some fields. Dates, decimals, integers, etc. These fields may have some uses for select lists but the majority of the time I end up removing the default select list.
It would be good to turn off the default select list for fields that do not have the need the majority of the time they are used.

Remove the backside (even pages) from a PDF with an Import configuration.
Invoices often have the unneeded information on the second page of an emailed PDF. As of now, there is no method to configure an import configuration to only use the odd number pages and omit the even number pages. This would reduce the number of pages stored to only pages with necessary data.

add an option to show the size of the file cabinet
as windows when I click right-click inside the folder or on the folder itself, I believe will be savvy option to be added along with the option of limiting the size of the document tray and the file cabinet

Allow auto index to run at 1 minute intervals. 10 minutes holds up approval processes if reliant on auto index of a field

Enable Flagging for stored files
It would be very helpful to be able to Flag stored files.For example, We store files (Jobs) by Job number. If there was a way to Flag a specific job that has special needs so that upon any future inquiries on this Job , it would immediately be apparent that it needs special handling. This could be part of the indexing process. Also any files added to a stored Job that has been flagged already would prompt a Popup that would warn the user that the specific Job being added to, demands special handling. Similar to the Popup that appears…

include a tool to invert a TIFF document...FROM black background & white text TO white background & black text
We accidently scanned several documents into TIFF format with an inverse option selected. This causes them to print with a black background and white text. I would like the opposite. I know their is an inverse button for toggling this for viewing purposes, but for printing, no toggle is available. I know Black Ice makes a product to convert/invert TIFF files, but I would save a lot of steps if Docuware had a product that was part of their program that could do this so that I would not have to re-index files stored in Docuware. purchase order stamping and sending
when creating a purchase order, I would like the order to be stamped in docuware automatically sent to supplier and then docuware allows a blank pop up email with order attached ready to send out to supplier.
initially all we have to do is type the email address and bobs an uncle again..:)

Allow to rename a document when sending via email
When sending an email allow the user to rename the file before attaching to email.

Allow "regular" standard select lists in Forms rather than always doing the filtering thing.
When filling out a form, it is now possible to type arbitrary text into select list entry fields. This filtering behavior is not commonly found on webpages and has caused some consistent confusion and frustration for our customers and their clients when forms won't submit.
Not all users of these forms are super savvy, especially for public forms, where users are not familiar with the concept of filtering. They type something in, and say "i'm done with that one" and move on.
Regular drop down lists that you click a choice and that's it should be allowed as an option.…

Make the transfer of a message to approvers of invoices an automatic feature.
Program the system in a way that once invoices are loaded the approvers receive and email. Also that once the first approver exercises his duty the invoices are automatically forwarded to the next approver.

Provide complete list of dialog users
In dialog configurations, the first ten directly assigned users appear when the mouse hovers over the dialog's user column. I'm looking at systems with more than 10 users in respective search and result lists but with hundreds of users in the system. I'm having a terrible time finding number 11 and greater in the lists and corresponding them. Please find a way to show all the users for a particular dialog. Thanks
