CDN with Fallback to Local Script Repository
Starting with DW 6.6 Hotfix 8 DocuWare the Web.Settings flag "UseLocalCDN" has been set to "false". Quote: "For better performance you should disable this flag. If the flag is disabled, the fat JavaScript libraries are downloaded from Google CDN orother CDNs." There should be a fallback option just in case external CDN are blocked or unavailable.

Batch user tools for managing users.
Some installations have hundreds or thousands of users. We need tools to manage sub-groups, for ex., the DW customer's customers customers, or enterprise customers with large divisions. In particular one function badly needed is a wayt to export users (and attributes) to CSV or Excel.

I suggest to allow more colors for the stamps or web baskets
I would like to have the option of choosing more colors when creating any of the following... stamps/web baskets/ file cabinets/ decisions on workflow manager. I have a couple of clients that have a bunch of file cabinets and different colors will make it a lot easier on the eyes.

Multiple content fields for use with notifications
Actual Clients and future clients ask for this on their notifications, because 1 notification make the workflows confusing for them

Web Forms with files attached not emailed as .zip file
After the upgrade to DocuWare Cloud version 7, Web Forms with any files attached are emailed as .zip files. This causes many spam filters to automatically quarantine these messages, and many people, once they see a .zip file attached, automatically delete these emails, assuming that they are viruses.
It would be great if an option were available to be able to email the files in their native file format, as they were prior to version 7. The files were simply attachments to the email, instead of having to extract the contents of a zip file, assuming the end user actually…

Allow setting hours and minutes in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow in Docuware 7
Please allow setting hours and minutes again in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow instead of only allowing hours. It's a major setback in Docuware 7 compared with former Docuware 6.

Improve the way users interact with forms via a touch interface in kiosk mode
Our office uses kiosks with a touch interface for patients to fill out forms. They are frustrated with how forms behave. I recorded a short video that illustrates what happens.

Default regional settings to "English (United States" on new US based cloud accounts.
Currently it is defaulted to English (United Kingdom) even if you select US datacenters.

Let DocuWare write into external database
Since we are already giving DocuWare access to our external databases so it can read the data, why don't you guys let us insert values into those external databases using DocuWare information?

"Reassign" feature in Workflow should be assigned by rights or roles
The ability to "Reassign" a task in Workflow should not be available to all users within a workflow. This should be a admin assigned right.The "Reassign" button on the workflow should not be visible to all users.

Add a feature
Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes
It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.
As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.
This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

OR for readout and index fields in Smart Search
Add an OR option to combine readouts and their corresponding index values. That way if any of the OR'd combos were true the search would complete.
Currently we have to create a button for each match of AND'd fields. Sometimes this results in a lot of buttons and search time/user time moving through the buttons to find the match.

Set Logging Level for Local Data Connector
Requesting the ability to manage the logging level of the Local Data Connector logs. Currently, any event ran through the data connector is logged (including the sql query ran against the database). For one of our queries, this results in a log that grows in size by 250MB to 1GB (varies based on active purchase orders and invoices) over the course of 24 hours. Would like the ability to set this to be different levels from logging everything like it currently does, to only logging errors and critical events. So this logging control would be similar to the logging level…

allow configuration of teams and team leads for easy approval workflows.
For Docuware to know who the manager of anyone else is, would be more efficient for approvals, example travel requisitions or leave approvals.

Disable "Create Data File" as a User Option
Too many times I've seen users accidentally index as a data file, when they meant to index an image in their tray. Maybe there could be a way to disable this "feature" as 99.9% of my customers would never intent to store only data.

Why do we need to assign a file cabinet to every tray?
When we assign users to roles (as DocuWare encourages) you can't create an Inbox via the New User Wizard, because it requires us to select a file cabinet. But since we do not want to assign file cabinets to individual users, that functionality is not usable.

Administrator: Performance Indicators
It would be nice to have a dashboard in the admin tool with key performance indicators, such as Documents stored for the day, Maximum concurrent users, Number of registered users, # inactive users that didnt use Docuware in 3 months), current logged in users, data in for day (vs historical average), data out for day (vs historical average), Available storage (with estimated time before storage is full), Available resources, Critical errors (servers, workflows, etc.)
