  1. Restore "*Required" Field Errors Back To Webforms

    Our DocuWare Cloud instance was recently upgraded to v.7. Since the upgrade, our webforms no longer display errors above the Submit button when *Required fields are incomplete.

    In v.7, the descriptive language regarding fields that are incomplete (e.g. "errors") do not appear on webforms. Rather, the "Submit" button remains greyed out and cannot be clicked until the errors are corrected.

    Sorry to say, without the helpful errors actually displaying on screen, our users cannot figure out why the Submit button won't light up. One of our webforms is very long and contains many *Required fields. The users simply cannot intuit…

  2. Allow dynamic selection of document to merge with in a merge form configuration.

    Perhaps documents selectable from a cabinet (rather than selected from an explorer browse window) dedicated as these type of templates.

  3. I suggest you use the user's local setting to set up the date on forms.

    The UK has a date format of day/month/year and given I click on a calendar to select the date often the error is not seen until the 04/06 2017 or was that the 06/04/2017?

  4. Provide the ability to sort merge forms

    I would like the ability to provide a sort order for merge forms. I have a form that filles out 15 merge forms. I have a workflow that then copies them all to a new document and gives a task to somebody to look at them all to make sure there are no errors. If I could give Docuware a store order so that the document ID numbers were in the correct order I wouldn't need to add another index field to use to sort them.

  5. Make a way to change a form from using a text box to a dropdown without having to change all of the merge forms and merge form indexes

    I have an enrollment form that I created over a year ago that now needs updating. When I created the form I had no previous data. Now I have data from applications that can pre-fill a lot of the demographics information. So I created a multi-column select list with that information. The problem I have now is that for each field I have to update indexes and merge form fields to match the new dropdown fields. It would be nice if I could click on a text field and say convert to dropdown and not have to change all of…

    Version history for forms similar to the workflows on the Workflow Designer Desktop app. Having a built in revision history would help keep track of changes made to forms.

  8. SSO for Form

    Would like to have the ability to build a form for SSO, that can be for Private use, and still track the user who filled out the form based on login name.

    An example. make an HR form that gets sent company wide, the employee clicks on the form, and it auto logs them in. They fill out the form, and then click submit. the form has a field that shows who was logged in when the form was filled out.   9. Add validation to dates on DocuWare forms.

    Add calculations and validation for date fields.

    I.E - conditional options for when a date has been selected which is more than 2 weeks away.

    I know this is available in workflow, but this would be very useful in forms.

  10. UX design is terrible, one extra click,

    The UX is terrible

    Leave the old forms available by default

    The date doesnt even fit the box

    its 2025 don't let German Process overule the simplicity of a product

    Who let process overuse simplistic CX?

    Its bad enough that reports cannot be downloaded on a MAC but this is getting worse

  11. Calculate with date fields.

    Hello, is it possible with DocuWare to perform a calculation on date fields to determine the number of days taken, for example, for a form with a start date and an end date? To determine the number of days via a calculation on the form.

  12. Add more advanced calulations with If Statements

    We should be able to have if statments in Arithmetic Calculations. Ex: I have a Home Miles box that should be subtracted from Total Miles when the person went from Home to a location or went to Home from a location.

    I know this can probably be done in Workflow but we really would like to calculate from the form itself.

  14. Reprint output PDF after index modification

    It would be good to have the form reprinted in PDF after a modification from 'Modiiay index' dialog in search results.
    The new entry would be a new version of the document or replace it as per the cabinet settings

  15. concatenate form fields in indexes and merge fields

    There is another post for date calculations in forms that is also important but my problem is that I am trying to idiot proof my forms because people can't seem to enter the date correctly. I realize that this is a PEBCAK (problem exists between chair and keyboard) problem but my fix to it is that I index the day of birth with a select list of 31, the month of birth with a select list of 12 and a year of birth. Then in a workflow I put them all together as a date. It is a bit obnoxious.…

  16. adjust required coverage on signatures

    When a signature field is marked as required, all it takes is a single dot in the signature area to satisfy the requirement. It would be great to have a 'coverage area' slider or parameter in the configuration section to allow for adjustment in either pixels or percent coverage. For example 10 pixels is not enough for a valid signature but 200 could be.

  17. add Filter by Field(s) in the Table in the form

  18. Not Enough Text space on form for our Large quotes

    There is not enough space in the text for our customers large quotes and Tenders, Their Clients do not like the scroll down bar. When printing it cuts off. There should be an option to add extra pages, or be notified there is not enough room in the text page and text will be lost when printing.

  19. Turn off forms tab in web client

    I would love the option to turn off the forms tab in the web client. It's honestly quite confusing and inefficient since it shows every from published or not. We do not create forms for everyone to use and employees often fill out the wrong form or can't find what they're looking for. We also have an intranet site where we publish form links.

  20. Have option to auto set focus on first field

    This would assist the filling in of a form as the first field would be ready to receive data rather than having to type a Tab key or click on it.
