enable Conditions in Workflow to behave more like Select Case statements than If...Else statements
In one of our workflows, we have three possible conditions that could be present
Let's say these are A, B, and C.
The only way I can describe the logic about what is and what could be is to draw from my programming background.
Workflow only lets us set up the logic that it might look like this:
If Condition = A Then
... (A's actions)
Else
... If Condition = B Then
... (B's actions)
...Else
...... If Condition= C Then
......... (C's actions)
...... Else
......... (other conditions)

Improve the way users interact with forms via a touch interface in kiosk mode
Our office uses kiosks with a touch interface for patients to fill out forms. They are frustrated with how forms behave. I recorded a short video that illustrates what happens.

Default regional settings to "English (United States" on new US based cloud accounts.
Currently it is defaulted to English (United Kingdom) even if you select US datacenters.

Let DocuWare write into external database
Since we are already giving DocuWare access to our external databases so it can read the data, why don't you guys let us insert values into those external databases using DocuWare information?

"Reassign" feature in Workflow should be assigned by rights or roles
The ability to "Reassign" a task in Workflow should not be available to all users within a workflow. This should be a admin assigned right.The "Reassign" button on the workflow should not be visible to all users.

Ability to Publish Workflows from a Test Environment Directly into Production Environment.
When workflow designers have a produced and validated a workflow in a Test environment their should be a "publish to production" feature into a Production environment

allow for notifications to be sent on a timer as a group, rather than being sent individually
Every time a document gets assigned to a user a notification is sent to the user. Some users can end up getting hundreds of email notifications daily. Would be great if the notifications could be held and sent on a timer as a single email.

Email Notification Link via Workflow
Currently Workflow Designer does not allow you to generate the link name from variables with in DW only so the only option is to hardcode it.
It would be nice to be able to use the filename and a date as the link in the email being received by end users. It gives more meaning that hard coding the word document and then followed by variables

List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled
In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.

Allow setting hours and minutes in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow in Docuware 7
Please allow setting hours and minutes again in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow instead of only allowing hours. It's a major setback in Docuware 7 compared with former Docuware 6.

Workflow Designer - Add Attachment as task completion option
Create an option for attachment of documents to existing workflow manager for completion of task and have the document staple to the current file. Ex; Attach a shipping document to a PO for verification.
Currently the option to clip documents to it and moving the workflow is an option, but am having it requested that an attachment HAS to be placed before proceeding.

Automatically change label names when you change a database field name
Currently, when you change the name of a database field, the dialogs all keep the old field name as a "Label". This forces me to go into every dialog (including result list and index dialogs) and erase the label so that it matches the new field name.
When I'm changing a database field name, it is because a customer wants the field name to change everywhere.

Allow adhoc input for the AD Attribute I want to Synchronize with the User Sync Tool
In the Cloud Active Directory Sync tool there are only two choices for what attribute to sync to DW for the user name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName and they are hard coded into the tool.
I suggest that the attribute be a fill in box that allows me to select the attribute that I want to sync much like the on premise one does. I have accounts that use the employeeID attribute to be their DW username so that a filter can be set up for them to only see their document when they log in.

OR for readout and index fields in Smart Search
Add an OR option to combine readouts and their corresponding index values. That way if any of the OR'd combos were true the search would complete.
Currently we have to create a button for each match of AND'd fields. Sometimes this results in a lot of buttons and search time/user time moving through the buttons to find the match.

Add the ability read JSON response data as lists (add REST API as data connection)
It would be really nice in the age of cloud services to be able to establish data connections to REST APIs and read JSON responses into lists. Unfortunately, with many of the services that many clients use being cloud-based, they often have no access to backend database tables or views to create data connections to. Being able to hook up to generic REST APIs would solve this problem.

Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes
It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.
As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.
This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

Desktop notifications
Windows Desktop Notifications should be a thing, in the same way as E-Mail notifications are. If one has Desktop Apps installed or allowed the WebClient to send notifications, a User should be able to receive Desktop notifications in addition to Mail notifications.

Import configuration for Cloud FTP
DocuWare Cloud offers an FTP Server to use as an import source. This is very useful for small businesses who do not have on premise resources to run Desktop Apps Import 24/7. However, FTP Import does not allow dividing or indexing documents. Being able to assign a DW Import configuration to an FTP folder would be a big help to such customers.

Add a feature
Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

Create Sectional Header in Store Dialog
If the store dialog has many fields 50+, it would be useful to the end-user to have it in sections with sectional headers
