Attachments in Workflow Decisions
Add possibility of adding attachments in any point of a workflow decision. This should staple it to the document, as it happens in forms! This can help us complete a document though the different steps of a workflow.

Dynamically Update Workflow tasks assigned to roles
When a workflow task is assigned to a role, a task is simultaneously generated for every user who is a member of that role. This is problematic because when new colleagues are added to the role, they are unable to see workflow tasks that were created before they joined.

Add the ability to archive emails sent via a workflow
Currently you can send emails via a workflow. It would be nice to be able to archive those emails based on settings saved to the task in the workflow responsible.

Within Tasks, Add Conditions To Assign
Within Tasks, Add Conditions To Assign.
For example, if Workfield = "Escalate" or Value = Exceeds Value then assign to this person, otherwise continue. etc.

Provide this option in Workflow to auto open or not the next record
Create a setting allowing any user to enable/disable whether the next invoice in the approval task list automatically pops open when you are completed with your 1st one.
This is currently an option for Stamps, but not for Workflow. Why not? In the configuration of Stamps, it is possible to select when the next record is opened, or when the current document is closed. It is assumed in Workflow that the next record should be automatically opened.

Multi Filtering
Now that we have filtering, next step is to be able to filter multiple fields and not only one. Excel filters work great... also great if the display field would adapt to the size of the content that is being filtered... and lastly, systemwide support for this feature.... every list table needs filtering!!

version field in task
Please allow to add the WF Version field as a column. This would allow users to filter or order by that field, when doing multiple tasks. Currently it is only visible as supervisor.

Change trade to non-trade
When you switch the invoice from trade to non-trade, it should show up in non-trade list. This is not happening at this moment. I then have to go and find said invoice if I didn't copy it to my personal file. It would be a much cleaner list and no duplicates vouched and stored. This would just be for convenience, not really needed. Also the other way around doesn't do anything. It keeps the invoice in the non-trade list.

add a configurable stamp activity to Workflow Designer
Add a specific activity in the Workflow Designer that places a configurable stamp. Give the designer the ability to pick the location of the stamp (either have DocuWare automatically place it, as it does now, or have the workflow creator input X and Y coords), and let the workflow creator pick the global variables or index fields or text for the stamp. We have several workflows that have a lot of fields in the decision tasks and the resulting stamp is huge and contains a lot of info that isn't required.

Allow Wildcard (*) Searching in Workflow Task Form Field Select List
When filling in a field in a store or search dialogue, the user can use the wildcard character * to search for a sub-string. For instance, if a field's select list contains the value "Test Field Value 12345", the user can type "*12345" and the select list dropdown will return all values that contain 12345 within them.
This does NOT work on select lists for workflow task form fields. It would be helpful if we could use wildcards to narrow down select lists on workflow task form fields and not just the dialogues.

Send Request should show on document when sent
Currently it's possible to see the responses to a "Send Request" as a stamp on the document. This is brilliant for auditing, but it would very helpful to also have the fact who requested the response visible as a stamp on the document.
At the moment you can't see easily that a request is running on a document if there was no response to the request yet.

Create a "document object" variable in Workflow
I would like to add document in a workflow task and store it in a particular file cabinet.
Other idea could be to manage this feature via DocuWare Form.
- validate the task to certify tha the link to the form on workflow task is been executed (and document stored via Form)
- allow the choice to split on DocuWare Form, the registration from its attached.2 votes -

A client is requesting the option to have a desktop notification pop-up in the standard Windows notification bar in the lower right when there is a new task for them to review in DocuWare.

Trigger workflows from the contextual menu
Having the ability to trigger workflows from the contextual menu would be an easy way to allow users send documents to external services.

Make tasks "read" only when the image is opened
Currently it only takes a single click to cause the record to be marked as read, even though the image has not been opened with a double-click.
Bolded tasks are those that have yet to be read. Bolded tasks are also viewed by those monitoring the workflows. It is incorrect that the approver has read an invoice if they have not yet opened the image.

Add TLS encryption to e-mails sent from workflows
If a workflow is set to send a receipt to the person uploading a document and the e-mail includes the uploaded document then it would be great is the e-mail was encrypted. The risk is that the e-mail will include personal information that requires encryption due to GDPR legislation.

Index value fields
Die Userrolleneinstellung bei Index Fields funktioniert im Workflow nicht, weil es die Option "Can be empty" oder "new entry" nicht gibt. Der User hat im Workflow nicht die Berechtigung etwas zu genehmigen, falls er seine Rolle im Index Value Field angelegt wurde.
Nur wenn man eine neue Rolle im Custom anlegt, dann funktionert workflow. Hier gibt es Anpassungsbedarf bzw. ich sehe das als Bug von Docuware an.

Data in Form fields from different source
The ability to pull data into fields on a form from another datasource.
Eg. Enter InvoiceNumber and the rest of the fields in the form is automatically filled.

Allow end users to reorder and delete clipped items while a document is in workflow without having to turn on version management.
We have end users that clip documents in workflow all day. They make mistakes. There is not easy way to fix this without turning on version management and checking out the document. This also balloons the cabinet size for no reason...
