Right to left interface when switch to Arabic
Arabic language is right to left. therefore when switching to Arabic, clients will expect to have right to left interface and not only to translate words.

Dark Mode
Please provide a Dark Mode option, i have to look at this thing all day and even with monitor adjustments it gets to be a bit much.

Allow a single document within a clipped document to be removed or copied.
We clip multiple files together for a workflow and store the document, however we need the ability to copy one of those files, modify it, then re-store it as a separate document without affecting the clipped file.

Table Fields - Default Box Size Options
It is fairly common for me to have a case where I need to present a user with more than one table field, and sometimes a few of them. In most cases the row count for the table fields is small, resulting in a lot of wasted white space in the table field boxes. This makes for a lot of scrolling to get to what a user needs to see or act on. While this would have value anywhere, it would have special importance in workflow tasks. Automatically remove licenses from users not found in any AD synced groups.
On-Premise; Active Directory sync.
Users that are removed from AD groups that are synced to Docuware should also automatically remove the license from that user upon synchronization to Active Directory13 votes -

Increased functionality with audit reporting. Add the ability to add criteria (other then date) the search parameters. Be able to search by event, user and then be able to sort the results A to z or z to a.

DW Dsesktop Dependencies need to be upgraded.
For DW Desktop to work properly, MS visual c++ redist 2010 needs to be installed.
This product is EoL and EoS from Microsoft years ago. This poses an security risk.
And larger companies escpesially, do not want to have old outdated components installed.7 votes -
Further restrict access to Restore documents in Trash Bin
Please add the ability to restrict access to the Restore button in the Trash Bin. The attached is where I would expect to find this control.
The following provides guidance when there is access to the Restore button, and to which documents the user may restore. I've summed it up like this, based upon File Cabinet permissions.
Those who are set as file cabinet Owner may see and Restore all deleted files.
A file cabinet User (who has delete permissions) may Restore only those documents they have deleted, this means that the Restore button exists.

Option to prevent documents deleted by a deletion policy, going to the trash (v7.8 >)
The new trash feature is very nice! But in some cases unwanted. Especially when (larger) volumes are deleted, that are not needed anymore, it makes no sense to put them into a trash record. A feature to have a checkbox in the 'Deletion policy configuration' which decides if the documents need to go to the trash or not.

Allow installation of DocuWare Desktop in offline mode

In the past, we had the possibility of installing the DocuWare Desktop in offline mode, i.e. by deploying centralized .msi files accessible by all of the client's employees in order to launch a set of commands allowing the installation of the various desired modules, and this in silent mode.Recently, we have been forced by DocuWare to proceed with the installation by a command that calls an .exe file.
This poses a real problem because customer security restrictions prevent us from deploying in silent mode.

Export - Select Page Range
Users often need to send a set of selected pages from a document. Right now we can only send the page we're viewing, the whole document or the whole file so extra steps (amounting to extra time) is required to send the pages that need to be sent.

Print the user authorisations directly from DW.
Please add a function to print the user authorisations directly from DW. A requirement from auditors is to get that print directly from the application. As a SOX company were are audited every 3 months on authorisations set up. Auditors always ask to get that list directly from our applications

Add selectlist sorting
Add selectlist sorting (in store/edit dialogs} so we are able to sort items in a select list from A-Z or Z-A or from old to new.

Annotations - Undo/Ctrl+Z Function
It would be very helpful if there were an Undo or Ctrl+Z function for annotations. A quick Undo action would save a lot of time when corrections are needed as opposed to selecting the pointer, selecting the specific annotation and deleting it.

User Last Login Date - Spotting Unused Accounts
It would be great to have a Last Login Date shown for the users. Once a system grows beyond a certain point it can be a real challenge to sort out what accounts are not in use anymore. This simple tag would make that task a breeze.

Allow to modify Docuware assigned groups via Active Directory
As it stands the synchronization only allows to sync newly created users. Existing users cannot be modified via Sync, therefore you can not change the access via AD or modify the name or status. I understand the limitation for users created manually, but users created via Sync should have the capacity to be modified via sync as well. The current procedure to be able to modify a user is to delete it from docuware and run a new sync to be recreated. By connecting with an ERP-System this manuell work is impossible because of quantity.
