Many customers has asked for such functionality. It looks that Docuware is just accepting the calls from external systems via URL links created by the URL creator but doesn't allow to have any reference to other systems based on the information stored in the index fields.
The possibility to add link in the tasks form is the good option but it just show that it is possible. We are waiting to open Docuware solution for other systems using the values in the index fields and result list.
