Number the lines in Workflow Designer.
Please number the data assignments etc by number of lines. When the validation checks if there are any errors it just states line number 103 for instance then I have to count all the way down to that before I find the line. It would be much quicker if numbered.

Extracting Additional values from Documents already stored in the File Cabinet
In this use case, business has to reconcile a large set of documents using a reference on a document that was not previously indexed, It would be nice to have a feature where we could extract additional information from documents already stored in a file cabinet, without having the manually find/index the documents, or downloading the documents and reindex via processing files (as this may cause issues if the solution is linked to an ERP with automated workflows)

Custom select lists are missing from the dialogs when copying file cabinets.
When using a xml file to copy a file cabinet, the custom select lists assignments are missing from the dialogs. 'The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field' check box remains checked though. The fields with only the default select list are copied correctly.
So the admin has to go through each store dialog, and the index dialogs on each result list and task list, to fix this bug. If a dialog is forgotten, then the user is unable to enter anything in those index fields.

Notifications for web basket / Benachrichtigungen für Briefkorb
New documents for DocuWare arrive in web baskets. Thus web baskets need to be monitored permantly by employees to index and store new documents and to start followup processes in DW without loosing any time.
Notifications for web baskets would help a lot to increase productivity and to decrease manual effort of employees for permanent monitoring of several web baskets.
E.g.
* New document arrived in web basket XYBasically same functionallity as for archives.

folder searchbox
Hi,
We have a lot of searchbox and list in DW.
Would it be possible to be able to class views (lists and searchboxes) in "folders" (managed by admin) ?
If it's not possible, if users could set an order in the views so they could find the one they want easier.2 votes -

Assign to store user without having to create GV
Right now everytime I want to assign a task to store user, I have to create a "user variable" and assign an index entry "Store user" and only then I can assign the task to this variable. It would be great if we just have another option / radio button in "Assign to" module that would specify "Store user".

When creating a index value profile, you should be able to rule out documents with certain entries in a keyword database field without using SQL Statements

Function profile - FTP permissions
Please give us the possibility to adjust permissions for FTP module. Right now only "Organization administrator" can access the FTP module but I need particular users to be able to create FTP connections themselves.

stamp multiple pages at one shot
I would like to use a DW stamp as Flash signatures on contract documents and not sure if DW supports it. It will be like:
The contract has 10 pages, and I will use DW image stamp (my signature image) to chop on the first page, then the stamp will be applied to all the rest pages of the contract with one shot only.
I think we should develop this feature because it's useful. Thank you.

Filters in the task list should not be saved (or saved adjustably)
The filters in a task list are retained even after logging out, which can sometimes be useful, but often confuses users because not all tasks are displayed directly.
Therefore, the filter setting should not be saved permanently (like the filters in the search result list), or it should be adjustable per user, or selectable by a checkbox (e.g. next to the "Reset filter" button).2 votes -

we can curently use the fixed user list, but it would be nice if we can select a user based on the group or role they are connected to

Allow the ability to change column order of table fields in Result and List Result dialogs
The column order of table fields are adjustable in the store dialog, workflow tasks and the index dialog, but I can not re-order them in the Result dialog or the List Result dialog.

Possibility to give saved form a custom (dynamic) file name
At the moment there is no easy way to give saved forms an unique file name. It would be good to have a possibility to fill in a custom file name, with a possibility to use dynamic entries, such as timestamps.

X to close dialogues jumps to the right... why?
When having multiple dialogues open in the DocuWare interface, they appear as tabs next to each other. Each tab has an x right next to the name of the dialog to close it. However, if there is only one dialog open, the X jumps all the way to the central divider why on keeping the tab layout so that the X so right there where it was before you closed the 2nd to last dialogue?

duplicate workflow decisions
I often have to create similar workflow decisions, only with a slight change in an index modification (eg. document status). I'd like to have an option to copy/paste my decision inside a workflow task;

From a task, as a workflow controller or simple user, I would like to get a link that I would share either by email, copy/paste, or Teams.

When Connect to Mail is configured to import only attachments have it ignore emails with no attachments
When Connect Mail is configure for import attachments only, it will not ignore email with no attachments. Connect to Mail will import all email and those with no attachments will considered a failure and be routed to the default tray, or, have a rule in out look to move email to a different folder and it monitored.
Connect to mail should ignore email with no attached if only attachments are needed. This will help with improving deployment and eliminate clean up maintenance for support people.
