Add feature for user to suspend a workflow item at a task activity
Add option for an end user to suspend a workflow task activity for a configurable amount of time. Sometimes you know a task cannot be acted upon immediately for whatever reason - it takes a week to get processed docs back from a third party for example.

Add manual entry feature to Smart Connect
In our environment, the OCR portion of Smart Connect has proven to be extremely unreliable. We would like to request a feature where you can enter a Smart Connect key combination and a dialog window pops up into which you can manually enter a search term or phrase (such as a patient ID) and have a search performed using that term.

Mainly because there will be new funtionality with the next DocuWare Version 7.4 in Smart Connect and I believe this functionality will help you solving your desired use case. There will be a functionality where Smart Connect will not rely on OCR but search for the element you have highlighted in the software.

Add abilty to show index value from another document
show index value from another document (from another filecabinet) in result list/tasks lists/workflows.

Workflow Tasks - Notification Sound on Arrival
Would be great to have the option for a Windows Notification when a workflow step arrives.

DW Cloud - Make More Database Elements Available for Select Lists/Autoindex
For Select Lists and Autoindex routines the tables available in the cloud are somewhat dialed back, and since I am not looking to update anything in these tables it seems like it would be harmless to make more of them available to us. The case today was a situation where in an on premise system I can create a select list for the users in a group or role, but I can't get to the tables needed to do this in the cloud.

Add the ability to pull up documents using document relations with a string of characters
EX: store Packing Slip with PO Number 123
Store a Purchase Order with PO Number 456
Store an Invoice with PO Number 123;456Allow the string of characters to pull up documents containing both entries separated by semi-colon

Store Dialog Validation should use same license as current user
Currently an additional license is needed to run a Validation on document storage. The logged in user license should be able to be passed through to enable the validation. Alternatively making a validation run without a license would work too.
It doesn't make sense to need an additional license just to run validations.

Allow progress to be saved on a workflow task
It would be nice to be able to save work on a workflow task for completion at a later time.
For instance, when filling out GL account information on an invoice with a lot of line items, it would be nice to be able to save the progress to be completed later. Let's say I have an invoice with 50 line items that all need to be coded to a different account. Maybe I get to line 30 and need to go to a meeting. There isn't any way to save my progress so I can finish later.

Verify and remove the check digit on barcode
it would be helpful that in the barcode reading configuration there is the possibility to remove the barcode check digit.

Add a behavior to index fields in the search dialog
For instance, say that the top index field is called "Department" and there are 10 departments listed. Each department will have different documents and index fields that are unique to them.
When someone selects "Human Resources" as the Department, then a set of index fields will appear based upon that selection. Like an eForm "behavior".

Result List Based on Field Value
Would be very useful if we could define which result list is rendered based on a field value, like Document Type. In this manner an Edit Index Entries for document type Invoice would only show the pertinent index values and not the values for all the other document types in that file cabinet.

GroupBy in results, views, wordkflows...
GROUP (and subgroup...) results or Taks or lists by the desired field... This should be able to be configured by admin for each result list or workflow view, but also modified and personalized by the users.

Conditional Formatting when Assigning.
For example:
I may want to assign to a department depending on an outcome or responsibility. At the moment I have to create multiple conditional formats and assigns for it to go to the correct person.
I would like it so you could go, if field equals finance then assign finance manager, if field equals sales then assign to sales manager, etc

Connect to Desktop Apps from Configurations page
If all the user licences are assigned and you need to connect the administration account to desktop apps, you have to reassign a licence and login to the front end, then connect desktops apps and then reassign the licence again. It would be much easier if you could connect the desktop apps from the configuration page.

Remove authentication prompt when testing workflows
It would be more efficient if testing workflow did not prompt for credentials each time a workflow is tested. You have to authenticate when creating the trigger.

Have a way to found out how many selections there were in a multi-select field.
I have not found a way to get the quantity of options that were selected in a multi select field in the workflow. This should be quite straightforward as I assume a multi-select is just a generic list or array so accessing this value should be as simple as List.Count or Array.Length, but with the current tools in the user interface it doesn’t seem possible

workflow email list
In the workflow designer there is a variable for user of a group and a checkbox for a list variable. I would like to have a list variable for email addresses. I would also like to be able to fill that list with more than 100 results from a file cabinet query
