Restrict access to DocuWare Configuration to non-administrators
Even if a user does not have any profile functions, they can still access the notifications and Stamps functions of Docuware configuration.
It is best to deactivate the "Configuration" button in the Profile menu when the user has no rights over function profiles.3 votes -

Aktuell wird der Job etwa alle zwei Sekunden ausgeführt und initialisiert jedes Mal den Datenbanktreiber neu. Das hat zur Folge, dass ein entsprechend hoher Aufwand entsteht, der sich in CPU-Last und außerordentlich vielen Events im ProcessMonitor äußert.
Wir beobachten mit dem ProcessMonitor sobald die DocuWare Desktop Apps unter Windows installiert sind, respektive die DocuWare.Desktop.exe und DocuWare.DesktopService.exe laufen, innerhalb von fünf Minuten etwa 900.000 Events mehr im Gegensatz zu einem Windows ohne DocuWare Desktop Apps. Für dieses Verhalten dieser beiden Prozesse ist keine aktive Nutzung der DocuWare Desktop Apps erforderlich.2 votes -
Erzwingen von Textshots bei Verwendung von Connect to Mail
Es sollte möglich sein, auch bei Connect to Mail das Erzeugen neuer Textshots erzwingen zu können. Gerade in Umgebungen, in denen keine Desktop Apps zum Einsatz kommen können, bleibt oft nur Connect to Mail für einen automatisierten Import nach DocuWare. Da viele Kunden hier jedoch zahlreiche Dokumente mit unbrauchbaren oder nur teilweise vorhandenen Textshots (aufgrund grafischer Elemente) erhalten, ist hier viel manuelle Indexierungsarbeit nötig.

Die Benachrichtigung über neue Aufgaben (rotes Symbol) sollte rot bleiben, bis ich in die Aufgabe geschaut habe.
Derzeit wird die "rote Bubble" mit der Anzahl der Aufgaben nach eniger Zeit orange.
Es wäre für den Kunden hilfreich, wenn klar wäre in welchen Aufgaben (Workflows) sich Änderungen ergeben haben - seit dem der letzte Überblick (also klick in WF-Aufgaben) erfolgte3 votes -
öffentliche Formulare als iframe auf Homepage einbinden
Um Kunden ein Formular einfacher ausfüllen zulassen, wäre eine Einbindung der öffentliche Formulare auf der Homepage mit iFrame sinnvoll.

Hintergrundfarbe für Textstempel
Auch bei Textstempeln sollte eine Hintergrundfarbe auswählbar sein (nicht nur transparent). Oft ist zu wenig Platz für Stempel mit viel Text und dann kann man kaum was lesen. So könnte man den Dokumenttext dann einfach überdecken.

Add option when setting out of office for the user to choose who their back up should be
Using substitution rules is a challenge to manage and eliminates the ability to use variable assignments. It would be nice if an end user could choose who their back up should be and then have the workflow route accordingly.

Den Briefkorb bei fehlerhafter Verarbeitung in der Dokumentenverwaltung definieren. Aktuell ist es immer der Standardbriefkorb des Benutzers. Das verkompliziert die Einrichtung, wenn die Dokumente aufgrund von Berechtigungen/Datenschutz getrennt werden müssen.

Avoid opening the browser to sign-in purposes (since 7.10)
Since we are DocuWare integrators, we change our Desktop Apps connection all the time.
Since 7.10, we have been forced to open a browser just to open the WorkFlow designer.
Personally, I don't use my default browser to connect to the client's cloud (I assume I'm not alone in this situation), which means every time Desktop Apps wants to connect, it opens a tab on my default browser and forces me to retype the user/password.
It is time-consuming, and it gives us difficulties in some external communication with other services like SMSMod (untimely opening connection tabs).I know security concerns…

Send Request - use users first and last name
My client uses a numeric code to identify its users. This involves more than 1,000 employees able to work on DocuWare in the medium term. So the possibility of using the recipients' first and last names instead of their identifier is more than necessary for them.

Innerhalb der Windows Explorer Ordnerstruktur ist es möglich Schnellzugriffe anzulegen.
Diese Funktion fehlt innerhalb des Webclients, gerade wenn intensiv mit der Ordnerstruktur gearbeitet ist ein "durchhangeln" sehr umständlich.2 votes -

Datum als KW angeben
Es kommt vor, dass z.B. ein Liefertermin lediglich als KW angegeben wird. Hier muss dann manuell das Datum in das entsprechende Indexfeld eingegeben werden. Um den Aufwand zu verringern wäre es evtl sinnvoll, dass man eine KW (z.B.: "26/2024") mit OneClickIndexing erfasst und dieses automatisch in ein Datum umgewandelt wird.

Change standard permission profile names on Cloud
In some cases, the names of imported cabinet profiles use different terminology or are based on a different language than what the users would prefer. The ability to change these names could be useful to these users.

Die Schriftarten in Forms Vorlagen mit den wichtigsten Arten wie Calibri etc. zu erweitern!
Es gibt nur 5 Schriftarten in Forms. In DocuWare direkt gibt es mehrere. Diese sollten in gleicher Art und Weise in Forms verfügbar sein um einheitlich auch ggü. Kunden und Lieferanten auftreten zu können. In vielen Unternehmen muss CO eingehalten werden.

Expand Field Behaviors to Allow for Requiring a Minimum/Maximum Number of Entries for Checkboxes
Currently, In DocuWare, there is no easy way to require users to select a minimum or maximum number of boxes in a checkbox field.
This would also be useful for the Table type.

Rules/Conditions for deleting a document
Today, a user who has the right to delete a document can delete it whatever the state of the document (its status, its progress in a workflow).
In addition to custom profiles and restrictions in the Result list functions, it would be very useful to be able to set conditions for deleting a document.
For example, a document cannot be deleted if its status is "sent to accounting". Or the other way around : a document can only be deleted if it has a status included in "new document" or "to be validated", etc.
