Allow signatures on a prefilled form
I would like to be able to prefill forms with information and allow users to select the forms and obtain a signature using the signature control. For example, I want a dispatcher to fill out all of the delivery information onto a delivery ticket, which a driver will receive through DocuWare. Upon delivery, the driver can open the delivery ticket form and allow the recipient to apply their signature acknowledging delivery.

make merge form fields wrap text if needed
On certain documents, it would be helpful to be able to wrap text to fill a box. there may not be much side to side room to overlay the form data, but there can be top to bottom room.

Export Document/Workflow History
For example I have a workflow “Customer Purchase Order” and I want to export all the history for all the documents during a set period.
I only want the data. Perferably in a CSV file for reporting.

provide a method of public access to docuware repositories
We are getting many requests both from existing customers and prospects for the ability to provide access to public record or read/only documents to a pool of users. Many are municipalities. Currently there is no way to share a pool of read only users or a way to accomplish this with Docuware cloud as far as I know of so we have to recommend alterntatives.

forms on ipad
There should be an option to set forms to display in desktop view on mobile devices such as an iPad as a mobile view is to narrow for the screen size of a tablet.

Add ability to download in sets of 1000 instead of just 100. I have users that want to download 10000 records...
Take the limit of 100 records per page and increase it to 1000 so that downloading 10000 records is easier for the users or at least make it customizable from 100 default to 250, 500, 1000 etc. That way the user can tailor their experience based on their machine's capability.

Cloud Version-Cloud Status
The Cloud Status for Storage should update more frequently. We had an issue and were told that the Storage Quota status updated every 3 to 6 hours. It appeared to be closer to 6 hours for the update. It should update every 1 to 3 hours if the Quota is over 80%.
It would also be nice if it defaulted to 7 days, not 12 months.

DW cloud - Autoindex - Open SQL Query Testing Area
I would really appreciate a little area in the cloud systems where you could test Autoindex queries to see what the returns look like without having to build it all into an actual autoindex routine for testing.
Just a simple place where you could bang out a query and see the result set that you get back. Right now I have to mock up things in a local SQL instance to test, and it would really be nice to be able to query against the cloud tables themselves.

Make Waiting and Delayed tasks in Workflow visible to Wokflow Monitors
When an instance goes into a Waiting or Delayed Task in workflow, it completely disappears from all Web Client views (My Tasks and Monitored Tasks). This makes it difficult to monitor what is in these states without going to the Workflow Designed as a Designer and checking the Waiting Instances Tab.
Even if I go to the Waiting Instances tab there is no simple way to associate the documents with the instances. The tab show Guid and DocID but many times that is too generic for a user to track back a document if it is waiting and needs to…

Print selected pages option
Add ability to print or email selected pages or page range. Currently the only option is to print the entire document or the page loaded in the viewer.

Search for used fields and variables in Workflow Designer
We all know that workflows can get very complex. At the moment, if you need to find out where in the workflow you are using certain variables the only way to find the assignments is to try and delete the variable. The Designer then shows you a list of all places where that variable has been used. However, currently you have no way of finding data assignments to fields as you can't search for them. It would be very helpful to have an option in the Designer where you can see all the different fields (even in other file cabinets)…

Make possible to assign a role on the substitution list.
When a Task is assigned to a Role, we want to assign the task to a third user in the case of all the members of the role are out of the office.

Add location services to populate Forms in the field
Adding the ability to capture cell phone location on a Form so for use cases where you have remote users filling out forms they can 1) Not have to enter address 2) Be used as "proof" they were at the site.

Date in Folder Dialogs
Let us assing DATE fileds to the Folder Dialogs Hierarchy, and choose what part (or parts) of the date to use (DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR)

intelligent index work with keyword field
It would be nice to have Intelligent Indexing work with Keyword fields the same way it works with Table fields.
Example: I have packing slips with multiple PO numbers that needs to be populated in a Keyword field. I am using a keyword field instead of a table so i can link by that field in Document Relations.

Filter and view unique documents
when supervising a flow, you see the document X times depending on how many people have the task assigned.... this clutters and fills the view, and gives silly numbers of pending tasks. (in our case most tasks are available to 10-15 peopler, therefore multiplying the list by that number...)
The ability to filter/show "different" task would be ideal.
Also the number of pending tasks should always refer to unique tasks.

"Document in workflow" flag in result list
It would be very helpful to have a flag in the result list to see which documents are currently in a workflow. At the moment the users will have to build rather complex searches for various different status entries to identify all documents which are still in a workflow process. If there was a flag like the paper clip for appended pages, it would help the users a lot

Make Emailing a Doc Available Without the Desktop Apps
I install a LOT of DW Desktop Apps only to get the Email a Document function. Would be great to have this made a part of the base web client experience. I would expect that there are probably some pretty good technical considerations to something like this, but would really be great. The web client is just so nice, and adding this functionality would allow a very large group of users to be fully functional with no local installs.

If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.Currently browsers do not allow to open an email application with an attachment. That´s why we need a local application to download the document and then attaching the document to the email.

Please bring back the option to Sort By: "Comments"
Please bring back the option to Sort By: "Comments". This allowed us to categorize and prioritize on items that are due asap more efficiently.

Allow only data records in file cabinet
As it is now common practise to use file cabinets as hidden databases for workflow assignments (i.e. Approval Matrix, Supplier List, etc.) it would be good to have an option in the file cabinet settings to prevent users from accidentally storing documents into those cabinets.
In many cases the local DocuWare Admins who need to maintain those file cabinets are normal users and therefore may make mistakes...
