Request to Enable Filtering of Selection Lists Based on Logged-in User in DocuWare Forms
In DocuWare Forms, I would like to use the logged-in username to filter selection lists. Specifically, I want to display information related to the logged-in user in a selection list. However, since it is currently not possible to use the logged-in user's text field as a filter condition for another field, I would like to request that this functionality be made available.

Request to Enable User Selection by Full Name in Workflow Task User Lists
Currently, in the user list displayed on workflow tasks, only the logged-in user can be selected. We would like to request a feature that allows users to be selected based on their full name, combining First Name and Last Name. This would improve usability and clarity when assigning tasks within workflows.

Allow user to link a common field in a form to a select list
I have several multi-select lists that have a common field - Facility. But the only way to use them would be to combine them into a larger multi-select list. For instance I have a list of Pay type codes and a list of Supervisors. At the top of the form the facility is chosen and I am using that to pull the pay types. I'd like to also limit the Supervisor list to the facility as well. Maybe a way to associate a Form Field to a field in the select list when you click Filter. Then a choice to…

Display the subtotal of the "amount" columns in the lists and results

Displaying the subtotal of the amount columns (decimal or integer) would be very useful for customers.
Indeed, they are using "DcW lists" (and result dialogs) to prepare there payment schedule.
They are displaying several useful columns included "amount" columns, so they know wich amount represent each line (each invoice). But to decide weither they will pay or not an invoice, they also need to see the total amount of all the selected invoices.So having the possibility (same as in table fields for ex.) to display a total of a decimal or integer column will be very helpful for…

Share by Email to the New Microsoft Outlook
Currently if you select "Share by Email" for a document in a result list it will only open the old Classic Outlook email client even if the new Outlook is selected as the default email app on the workstation.

Ability to Add File Cabinet Index Data to an Email Notification's Subject Line
Currently this can be done in a Notification Task within a Workflow. But for standard non-workflow email notifications, index data can only be added to the body of the email and not the subject line. Due to this it's impossible to accomplish unless the customer has the Workflow module. Would be nice to have this feature available in a standard, non-workflow, email notification configuration.

dropdowns
Customers are confused by the new 7.12 forms and how they handle dropdowns. Before, they could just type text into the field as soon as they tab into it, and it would start filtering. Now, the field doesn't respond to them typing until they press Enter. This isn't a massive adjustment, but they have many, many users on the form, so re-training users is causing them headaches.

Add Permissions to restrict access to Profile & Settings
There are some situations, like if there is a guest user account or if there are certain security requirements for users, where restricting access to change usernames, passwords, tool visibility, etc. could be helpful.

Add option to disable loading icon in viewer
When switching between pages in DocuWare's viewer, the loading icon that frequently pops up can be visually disruptive to some users. This effect has become more noticeable with the introduction of scrolling to change pages in 7.10. Additionally, the icon frequently persists shortly after the next page to be viewed is already loaded.
Disabling this icon will allow these users to view these documents more clearly while quickly reading them.

Adding a new document version in one step - upload new version
DocuWare is greatly lacking the option to directly add a new document version - upload new version (select document, confirm). This would significantly enhance the system's usability in certain cases and greatly simplify its use.

Allow the Use of the Sync Configuration with Version Management Enabled
Currently, there is no way to perform a file cabinet synchronization job if Version Management is enabled. While there is a workaround by using the Transfer config for moving files out of the cabinet, this is an inconvenience to the customer if version management was enabled years ago and the file cabinet is filled with thousands of files.

Introduce a Brief Course on the Business Use Cases of Workflow
The LMS provides several courses for DSC's on the components of DocuWare Workflow and in fact a pre-requisite for the course is a DSC certification. It would be ideal that a short business course is designed for DSAs to aid them with understanding several business uses of workflow and mention them during their engagements with prospects. The business uses of workflow are indeed embedded in the various case studies listed on the DocuWare website . it would be ideal to so as to say extract such cases and centralize them. Keep My Tasks in the order the user puts them
When a document enters a workflow and the tab appears in My Tasks, can these be kept in the order that the user puts them even when the tabs disappear and reappear?

Be able to have documents translated and saved back as another PDF
It would be nice to be able to submit a DocuWare from say "Spanish", but then have that document translated to English and saved back to DocuWare as another PDF.

Allow receiving an error when submitting a form that says the invoice number/a field is a duplicate
It would be nice to have an error pop up when submitting or filling out a form that tells you an invoice number is a duplicate and is already entered in the system
