allow the deletion of fields in workflow designer without removing the field from merge forms.
I have a form that fills multiple merge forms that I setup before table fields were an option. When table fields were available in forms I was told that you could use a table field with a merge form. It can be done with a workflow. On this particular form I have hidden all of the original fields but it would be nice if I could remove the original fields without affecting the merge form.

Allow select lists to be used for choices in check boxes and radio buttons in forms
I have several lists that I use for drop downs but I would also like to use them for check boxes. Unfortunately I have to enter everything again when I do a check box.

Have an option to set the "original file name" either in the UI or in Workflow
The file name, as depicted in the bottom left corner of the viewer panel, is typically the file name used when exporting a document via Workflow (namely to a Web Service).
This can be problematic, when, for instance, a web form produces a document that goes into a workflow. In this case, the web form produces a file with the file name "form-name.pdf" where the name of the form is "Form Name". This can cause issues if the service in question expects different documents to have different names, or if the user has set the document name within DocuWare with…

allow workflow to loop through merge form fields
In my work around to fill in a table on a merge form with a table field data entry it would be really nice to be able to loop through all of the merge form fields. As it is, I need a data entry for each row of the table because if the row doesn't exist it will error and won't fill any of the previous rows. If I could loop, then all of the indexing would be managed simply with a formula and I would only need to do 1 data entry and end the loop when it errored…

Title bar icons in the viewer be able to be hidden.
Regarding the title bar icons in the viewer, especially the “Workflow Decision History” added in v7.11, I would like to be able to choose to hide them, as they are annoying when they are displayed even when the workflow is not in use.

Amend the overview pane to indicate if the document is multipage (or remove the + symbol if it's a single page)
Hi All,
Just had Glass Systems (Press Glass), asking the question about the overview pane when viewing clipped documents.
With the way they are processing orders internally the users have found a bit of confusion created by the view of the + symbol, staff had stopped looking for multiple pages in the documents because a lot are single page however the + symbol is visible whether it's a single or multiple pages.
They have asked if it's possible to change this to be a bit more intuitive so the users can tell if it's actually a multipage document that can…

Delete user accounts automatically on synchronization with AD when a user has been deleted from it
It would be useful if users deleted from the AD could be automatically deleted from Docuware users, to avoid having to create a new Docuware user with the same username and having to do all the deletions manually.

Allow annotations other than stamps on the Mobile App
It would be good to have the ability to have something like the free annotation on the mobile app to write on the documents

adjust required coverage on signatures
When a signature field is marked as required, all it takes is a single dot in the signature area to satisfy the requirement. It would be great to have a 'coverage area' slider or parameter in the configuration section to allow for adjustment in either pixels or percent coverage. For example 10 pixels is not enough for a valid signature but 200 could be.

[Document Processing] extract indexes from specific areas on documents other than PDF files
Currently, indexes can only be extracted from specified areas on PDF and XML files. I would like this functionality to be available for other file types, such as Word documents, as well.

DocuWare mobile app - Add the ‘Folders’ menu to the mobile application
In the mobile application we don't have access to the Folders menu when it's set up.
It would be useful to be able to access it through the mobile application in the same way as the Windows Explorer add-on for example.

Currently charged for double space for attachments stored within email chain
How can DW store an email using Connect to Outlook and only have the attachments count as one for storage purposes. Currently, it's storing the email with the attachment, then it saves a second copy of the attachment using up double the storage space. This is leading our storage space to be taken up much more quickly. It seems unfair that our files within emails are counted up twice.

Allow extended storage areas for files such as Quickbooks Company Files that do not get renamed to a GUID internally.
Quickbooks files spawn multiple files when opened and they cannot be renamed like for example to a GUID on the raw storage disk. Other companies have an 'extended' storage area where these types of files can be stored with the benefit of being searched but not managed otherwise. This would be beneficial for a Document Storage Management system.

Add user-specific option to delete raw files after adding to Docuware.
Too reduce clutter, a nice feature that other software apps have is the ability to delete the original source file after adding to Docuware.

Document viewer in 7.10 - arrows for navigating between attachments move left and right when switching between documents.
With version 7.10, the arrows for navigating through attachments move left and right depending on whether the document has one or multiple pages. When there are multiple pages, a field for entering the page number appears, shifting the entire row to the right.
This is annoying because it requires the user to chase the correct arrow with the mouse cursor for every click when navigating between attachments.1 vote
