  1. Hidden some global variables in document workflow history

    When working with a web service, sometimes it is necessary to obtain the credentials, user and authentication from another filecabinet with master data. If we are going to store these credentials in global variables, this appears in the document workflow history and, in some cases, should not be visible to all users, it must be hidden.

    We propose that global variables can be managed so that they are displayed or not displayed in the document history.

  2. New fonts to Merge Forms

    New font choices should be added to the Merge Forms, or an ability to import fonts. The current font choices are not sufficient enough to serve all needs. For example, Calibri is a much-requested font option.

  3. New archive type for data records

    In DocuWare a lot of data-archives with only data-records e.g. supplier masterdata, purchase orders without a document.
    For general overview when configuring and for use by users, it would be convenient to introduce a new archive type (e.g. with a different icon or search functionality).

  4. When viewing the 'Store' document history, display the cabinet & store dialog that was selected.

    In order to investigate reported issues it's important to know which store dialog a document has been stored with.
    End users don't always have this information.

    Currently the history entry shows 'store', the user who stored it and the date it was stored. Hovering reveals all index entries stored, but does not show the store dialog that was selected nor the cabinet it was stored to.

    Please make this information visible to admins.

  5. Set indexes or variables to NULL in a workflow

    Today, in a workflow, we can't set index values or variables to NULL.
    We can "empty" this information but this is not optimal, it's not the same thing as passing them to NULL.

    The option is already present in the auto indexes

  6. The Login Name to be displayed in the field name in the trash list.

    Currently, the fields displayed in the recycle bin list are fixed, and the DB user name (which cannot be changed) is displayed as the user name. This makes it difficult to identify users from a user perspective. I would like it to be displayed as the login username instead of the DB username.
    Or, we would like to be able to customize the display fields.

  7. The information of the seconds

    The column "created on" would be good to see hour, minute and second of the creation of the file, so it would be easier to group different files added at the same time (invoice + cmr) that come in the same email.

    We would like to have the possibility for the users to see the "Assigned to" system variable in their workflow dashboard in the web client. There is a possibility to write the system variable to the index field and then to display this index field in the dashboard, but the index field can only get updated once we have moved to the next task or block in the workflow.   11. Add Collaps Arrow at the vertical divide Bar

    As a user, I would like to collapse the search area or viewer directly. This is especially useful when I use many columns or want to enlarge the document in the viewer. With a Collaps Arrow these areas would be enlarged immediately. This feature is available in many applications e.g. jira.

  12. Allow users to search a range of addresses

    It would be nice to have the ability to search for a range of numbers, say we have data for 1 Main St through 10 Main St, and have the information for just the data in this range.

  13. Allow updates to file extension types for stored file without obscuring available metadata for edits/access

    It would be helpful to update a file type of a stored file (e.g., changing a .doc to a .docx which uses less storage space) without losing the metadata/edit history which is inherent by simply uploading the updated file type.

    If not possible in the simple "edit" option, it would still be helpful if it could occur in the check-out/version process.

    This is especially important where updating forms/samples because it is helpful (for internal process audits) to see who has made the changes to a form/sample, and when that happened. Conversely, it is better (for data/file management) to update stored…

  14. Show in History Details which System Function changed Index Values

    As an admin, I would like the history to show which system function, e.g. Auto Index or which workflow, made the change to the index. The system functions usually run with the admin, so it is very time-consuming to trace which function changed the index. This is especially the case with many auto index jobs or workflows that change index values.

  15. Encrypted URL: Return URL should not be allowed to be changed.

    When using URL's for integration purposes, it should never be allowed that the user can change values in the return URL and get an answer from DocuWare. (When Username/Password or Token is inside the encrypted URL, this is already working! However, when the users log in with DocuWare credentials or uses SSO the return URL can be changed! In my opinion this is a possible data leak.

  16. Open DocuWare Webforms from DocuWare Mobile App

    I have prospects and customers needing to open DW Webforms from the DW Mobile App. They need to fill out forms, with attached photos and signatures, in the field on mobile devices recording incidents, accidents, and inspection results.

    Opening webforms (many different types of forms) directly in a mobile device browser is unmanageable.

    Authentication and navigation when Logging onto the DW Web Client from a mobile device is confusing and greatly detracts from " APP " experience that today's workers expect.

    Can we add a "FORMS" tab on the DW Mobile Client toolbar like the one on the Web Client.

  17. Add back the Segoe Script font into DocuWare cloud for stamps

    Prior to 7.4,we had the ability to select Segoe Script font for stamps. This handwriting like font was very useful for creating signature stamps where a true digital signature was not required.

  18. Within Specify Text, be able to Split AND Retain the Charactor

    Within Document Processing, where text may be captured, there is a control called SPECIFY TEXT, which includes "AFTER KNOWN CHARACTER(S)". We need to keep those known charactors. Can you add "AFTER KNOWN CHARACTERS AND RETAIN THEM". For example we need to split the following at the T and keep the T too. <VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH>T<VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH> will result in "T<VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH>"

  19. Intelligent Indexing or Document Processing on Documents Stored from Email

    When email watch folder is connected to DocuWare you can store to a tray or cabinet. From the connection you can ONLY index the document based on email properties (TO, FROM, TIME, SUBJECT, ETC)

    I have standard format emails with the data I need in the emails I would like the ability to store directly to the file cabinet to trigger the workflow with a document that is fully indexed.

    This could also be accomplished by allowing processing configurations to index emails.

  20. "Recently deleted" needs filtering

    I greatly appreciate the new "recently deleted" feature, however, it would be nice to be able to choose what goes there or maybe to filter out things. Tracking down a deleted document in a sea of scan mistakes is cumbersome.
