  1. DW Dsesktop Dependencies need to be upgraded.

    For DW Desktop to work properly, MS visual c++ redist 2010 needs to be installed.
    This product is EoL and EoS from Microsoft years ago. This poses an security risk.
    And larger companies escpesially, do not want to have old outdated components installed.

  2. Associate different SMTP configurations to specific Workflows

    Currently you can create multiple SMTP configurations to be used as the sender for workflow email notifications. Is a big mistake to not be able to associate this to different Workflows.
    A good option could be selecting the SMTP configured account via a dropdown select box.

  3. kill a workflow instance from workflow designer

    If for some reason, a document in a middle of a workflow needs to be archive. there is no way to automatically kill the workflow instance of this document.
    For exemple it could be usefull in the following case:
    A contract document processing into multiple worklow at the same time for validation need to be cancelled.
    The user put a cancel stamp on the Document.
    Then, all those workflow instances need to be killed.
    Today, an admin need to select all workflow instance to kill them one by one which is not really pratical (this is manual).

  4. Vary timeout for Concurrent Licenses vs Named

    We have a mixed license environment where we have traded some Concurrent Licences to Named Licenses. The Time-Out setting affects all licenses. We want the Named Licenses to never time-out.

  5. Further restrict access to Restore documents in Trash Bin

    Please add the ability to restrict access to the Restore button in the Trash Bin. The attached is where I would expect to find this control.

    The following provides guidance when there is access to the Restore button, and to which documents the user may restore. I've summed it up like this, based upon File Cabinet permissions.

    Those who are set as file cabinet Owner may see and Restore all deleted files.
    A file cabinet User (who has delete permissions) may Restore only those documents they have deleted, this means that the Restore button exists.

  6. docusign webservice option for let the user where to put the signature

    There is not possibilities let the user decide where to place the signature when using Docusign method call AddNewDocumentMultiSigners (when we need more than one signature).
    With this method the only options we have are to send each X,Y positions otherwise an anchor system is possible.
    But when we have multi signer like 5,6 or even 10 person to sign this is difficult to find the right place with those options.
    And i know that is something exist on Docusign.

  7. Date calculation in Form

    Request to include Date calculation in field calculations in form designer. Example of Leave Application. When Employee applies for Leave and fills in Start Date and End Date Total Leave Days to be calculated based on End Date - Start Date. Another example could be Travel Request form when Employee fills Start Date and End Date.

  8. Unclip using DocuWare Platform API Webservice

    The webservice currently allows you to "Clip" documents. We would like the ability to "Unclip" and restore individual documents.

    Currently, we are clipping several documents in workflow designer with the DW Platform API (Cloud system), Sending the clipped document to DocuSign for multiple signatures. We would like to unclip after DocuSign returns the packet, index each document accordingly and store as individual documents again.

  9. Add DateTime field in forms

    some use cases require recording the time of form input.
    Having a date-time field available helps to enter correct data.
    now you have to manage it with a text field and a field mask, which is inconvenient both user-side and configuration-side, because then that string has to be added to the recorded date.

  11. Allow users to approve tasks by replying to the email notification.

    Our upper management users tend to have many requests that require their approval in DocuWare. It would be more efficient to allow them to approve the task simply by replying to the email notification with "Approve", "Yes", "Y", or something relating to that so that they do not need to log into DocuWare each time.

  12. Live table field calculations in workflow task (like forms)

    It would be great if we could do live line item calculations like we see in forms. For instance, on an invoice, we enter the quantity and price each for a line and the next column automatically fills with the subtotal.

  13. allow landscape webforms

    Currently, when web forms are created the output has 2 options A4 and Letter. When we submit PO requests we use a table field that would be a lot easier to read if we could at least print in landscape. It would also help if we could change the width of the columns in table fields but with table fields, landscape would be a nice option.

  14. Formulare in Briefkorb ablegen!

    Es wäre ein wichtiger Schritt, die Möglichkeit anzubieten, die Formulare in Briefkörbe übermitteln zu können. Die Formulare kann man aktuell zu einem Ablage Dialog zuordnen (was ein Workflow auslöst). Es wird vielles vereinfachen, wenn die Formulare auch in einem Briefkorb gehen können und dann erst durch Mitarbeiter in einem Ablage Dialog indexiert werden kann.

  15. Form table option to add different custom predefined entries and make them read only.

    I have a travel expense form with 14 items that can be submitted for reimbursement listed in rows with dates/day of the week as column headers. I currently cannot build a table with this layout. The table is limited to 10 columns. I can add rows with a drop down of available options but that is not as user friendly. Please see example.

  16. Forms: collums with calculation

    With 7.9 tables were integrated into Forms. Unfortunately, calculations are not possible within the table.

    E.g. an order is sent:
    2 chairs cost €12.99 and the customer has to enter €25.98 as the total cost in the last column and this is not entered automatically.

    This would significantly help with orders/billing and many other things

  17. Make it so that when creating a workflow for a document created with a merge form you can use it for multiple forms.

    I have several merge forms that create the same document. For example employee benefits. When a new employee is hired they fill out a form and choose what benefit packages they want, 401(k) investment options and everything. But then I have a merge form for each option individually like just health insurance because an employee might want to make a change to just one of those benefits like the birth of a child. There wouldn't be any reason to fill out the 401(k) part for that. The problem I have is that I need to create multiple workflows that are…

  18. Generate report of licensed users

    If a customer wants a list of licensed users, we need to manually write them down from the list of sometimes hundreds of licensed users in Configurations. We can't copy paste the users, and we can't generate a spreadsheet of them either.

  19. Allow the workflow designer to change retry attempts for individual workflows.

    KBA-36354 explains
    How to change the count of retry attempts of failed tasks. There are 2 problems with this. First, it isn't an option in the cloud and second, it is system-wide. I have been creating workflows as a workaround to fill in table fields in merge forms. I could do all of the error checking to see if a row is in a table before filling in the document but it is time-consuming tedious work that is unnecessary because the workflow manager has error checking.   20. Change the workflow designer to allow changing a data assignment without changing the entry type and destination.

    I am using data assignments in a workflow to fill in a table on a merge form from a table field. It is a work around that works but the annoying piece is that I set up a data assignment that fills in a row and then I should just need to copy to data assignment for each row but change the field name and the index number of the data entry. Unfortunately when I change the field/variable it wipes out the entry type and entry. So I have to copy the entry to the clip board and then put…
