Display number of document in document trays
Hello,
It would be very helpful if the number of documents in each trays was display in the list of the document trays (see picture).
When a user have to deal with a great number of document trays, it will help to increase his productivity.

Being able to make a selectlist via an API CALL
BEcause more and more applications are SaaS application, it is harder and harder to make a select list from data from other applications or databases. This is because SaaS applications like finance application, protect access to their database directly. The only way to do this is via API calls. In this way the customer can control the API reguest and manipulate, alter, or adjust the return awnser that fills the select list.
This is a must have for Docuware to be able to integrate with other applications which databases are not reachable.2 votes -
Dark Mode
Please provide a Dark Mode option, i have to look at this thing all day and even with monitor adjustments it gets to be a bit much.

Print selected pages option
Add ability to print or email selected pages or page range. Currently the only option is to print the entire document or the page loaded in the viewer.

Scan Configs permanently associated with Client scan settings
Clients should have the option to make the scan 'processing configuration' permanently associated with a specific set of scan settings. This would allow users to select, from multiple saved scan settings, a specific scan configuration without having to manually change the processing configuration each time.

Make possible to assign a role on the substitution list.
When a Task is assigned to a Role, we want to assign the task to a third user in the case of all the members of the role are out of the office.

Stamp Visibility on Document Criteria
Stamps can perform very specific actions, sometimes only appropriate for documents of certain document types, statuses or other defining criteria. Right now the stamps all show for anything in the specified File Cabinet, but would be great if we could filter when they show up based on defined index values.

In the workflow designer allow a workflow to be scheduled if todays date = a date index filed
In the workflow designer, you can schedule a task to run if a date field is a length of time after or before a date. There is no easy way to schedule it to run for documents that have a date = a date specifically today's date. So the solution is to have it run after the past 1 day and before the next 1 day and for some reason that ran it a day ahead of schedule so I had to put in a condition as the first command in the workflow to see if the date was =…

audit trail/ reporting
Increased functionality with audit reporting. Add the ability to add criteria (other then date) the search parameters. Be able to search by event, user and then be able to sort the results A to z or z to a.

Insert stored document into email chain
Add the ability to insert a stored document into an existing email chain. Currently, you have to download the document and save it onto Desktop, then attach it.

Create software integrations for screen reading software for the visually impaired.
Currently visually impaired often use screen reader software for accessibility. With further integration, those who have visual impairment would still be able have full use of the product.

Search for used fields and variables in Workflow Designer
We all know that workflows can get very complex. At the moment, if you need to find out where in the workflow you are using certain variables the only way to find the assignments is to try and delete the variable. The Designer then shows you a list of all places where that variable has been used. However, currently you have no way of finding data assignments to fields as you can't search for them. It would be very helpful to have an option in the Designer where you can see all the different fields (even in other file cabinets)…

Add indexes to DocuWare notifications
Add ability to notifications (non workflow) to add index metadata to the subject and use an index as a subscriber.

Have the ability in Out of Office to HOLD a task and not have it transferred to the next person when Out of Office is turned on.

disable the enter key when storing documents
I want the enter key to only be used to add index entries; not store the document. I click the data on the scanned documents and press enter to add it as an index entry--sometimes I will think I have clicked the data but my mouse wasn't all the way on the data and I will, out of habit, press enter and the whole document is stored when it wasn't ready to be stored. Just make it a user option so each user can decide what they want the enter key to do. You should encompass more keyboard shortcuts.

In a workflow table field create a row for each item in a keyword field
I have a form with checkboxes that index in a keyword field. I would like to create a row in a table field for each of those keywords in a workflow. If I set up the default value to be the keyword field it puts all of them in one row. That isn't very helpful.

Add ability to import as a new version
We will often send documents to clients for review. It would be helpful if we could import the client documents as a new version of an existing document, rather than saving it as a new document.

Forms - Enhanced Validation Handling
Right now validations are only for a specific field. Would be useful for this to be expanded for use cases like one where if one field is blank another must contain content. Essentially, if a condition exists in a field other fields could have validation elements apply as a result.

HEIF/HEIC Image Support
It would be nice to have the new standard image format HEIF/HEIC supported by the WebClient Viewer (and the configuration pages like Printer), as this format is slowly becoming the new standard, replacing .JPEG.
It is already integrated in all mayor OS and the standard format for pictures taken with iOS.See this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Efficiency_Image_File_Format
