Allow the workflow designer to change retry attempts for individual workflows.
KBA-36354 explains
How to change the count of retry attempts of failed tasks. There are 2 problems with this. First, it isn't an option in the cloud and second, it is system-wide. I have been creating workflows as a workaround to fill in table fields in merge forms. I could do all of the error checking to see if a row is in a table before filling in the document but it is time-consuming tedious work that is unnecessary because the workflow manager has error checking. Change the workflow designer to allow changing a data assignment without changing the entry type and destination.
I am using data assignments in a workflow to fill in a table on a merge form from a table field. It is a work around that works but the annoying piece is that I set up a data assignment that fills in a row and then I should just need to copy to data assignment for each row but change the field name and the index number of the data entry. Unfortunately when I change the field/variable it wipes out the entry type and entry. So I have to copy the entry to the clip board and then put…

Convert Adobe Portfolio Documents and store as Clipped PDF
Adobe Portfolio documents are a group of PDF's Clipped together in a PDF. I believe that this format has been a standard since Adobe 9 around 2008. A portfolio document looks like a stardard PDF and clients do not understand why DocuWare is not Compliant with the Portfolio Standard for PDF. I would suggest that because this is VERY simular to DocuWares Clipping that DocuWare EXPORT all of the files in a portfolio document and clip them together as one Document making it easier for the client to work with

We would like the "Bookmarks" included in the PDF original document to be maintained even when downloaded with DocuWare.
When we download from DocuWare as an Original Document, "Bookmarks" are maintained, but when we download from DocuWare using Download with annotation, etc., "PDF Bookmarks information" is lost.
We understand that the "Bookmarks" information will disappear because DocuWare creates a new PDF. However, since "Bookmarks" are often valuable information, I would like the original "Bookmarks" to be inherited even if a new PDF is created.

Add document capture datetime as index field
Sometime customer needs to know when document is captured - arrived in Document tray. Now when document is stored this infromation is not accessible and customer not have way to check how long time document was in document tray before stored. In some situations it would ne neccessary to keep this value as system entry data.

Please add Document File Name as an Exportable Field.

Better workflow response when unsecured webservice request is sent
Please return something else other than just "An error occurred while sending the request." when the connection to external webservice is unsecured (no cert or not valid cert). Something like "The request was aborted due to unsecured communication with the web service". would be nice.
When troubleshooting, sometimes it's very hard to differentiate if the request was aborted because of blocked IP from DocuWare or if the web server has invalid SSL cert.

Size of document with arithmetic expression or by direct assignments
Allow the "Size of document" with arithmetic expression or by direct assignments to use it directly in the Workflow Designer.

Workflow fields only display on stamp if populated
If you are putting a stamp on a document, and it has multiple fields in the decision, you are always forced to put those decisions on the stamp. Make a way where if the field is NULL the line/field doesnt populate on the stamp. This would help avoid clutter

Allow users to approve tasks by replying to the email notification.
Our upper management users tend to have many requests that require their approval in DocuWare. It would be more efficient to allow them to approve the task simply by replying to the email notification with "Approve", "Yes", "Y", or something relating to that so that they do not need to log into DocuWare each time.

Intelligent Indexing Bug
When importing a File Cabenit, Intelligent Indexing is not available. Can we get a fix for this.

In the webclient, we would like to have a mark ensuring that the document is signed by a certificate.
When we preview a document in docuware web client, there's no sign or stamp ensuring that the imported docuement has been signed by a certificate.

allow landscape webforms
Currently, when web forms are created the output has 2 options A4 and Letter. When we submit PO requests we use a table field that would be a lot easier to read if we could at least print in landscape. It would also help if we could change the width of the columns in table fields but with table fields, landscape would be a nice option.

Unclip using DocuWare Platform API Webservice
The webservice currently allows you to "Clip" documents. We would like the ability to "Unclip" and restore individual documents.
Currently, we are clipping several documents in workflow designer with the DW Platform API (Cloud system), Sending the clipped document to DocuSign for multiple signatures. We would like to unclip after DocuSign returns the packet, index each document accordingly and store as individual documents again.

Add DateTime field in forms
some use cases require recording the time of form input.
Having a date-time field available helps to enter correct data.
now you have to manage it with a text field and a field mask, which is inconvenient both user-side and configuration-side, because then that string has to be added to the recorded date.14 votes -

Send one email to all recipients in Notification - Tasks
Hello,
For now, when an email is sent from the Task activity, it is sent individually to all users to whom the task is assigned. Unfortunately, business users are lost and do not know if the task is assigned to them personally or to the whole group.
It is too bad as a developer to add a condition and based on the condition (is the task attributed to a role or a user?), use the Notify activity.
Is it possible to add the option "notify everyone in a single mail" inside the Task activity?

Please make the new Outlook Add-in available for on-premise customers. Currently, this new add-in is only available for cloud customers.
Please make the new Outlook Add-in available for on-premise customers. Currently, this new add-in is only available for cloud customers. We have clients who use Macs who would benefit from storing emails to DW using this add-in, since Connect to Outlook & DocuWare Desktop are not available for Macs.

Options for how to license new users sync'd from AD
Right now, when a new user is added in the AD sync, they're automatically assigned a workflow license. If no workflow license is available, they're automatically assigned a named license. It would help to have more control over this. Maybe give us the option in the User Synchronization tool to select between "assign named license to new users" "assign workflow license to new users" and "assign no license to new users". (Some customers have limited licenses they manage manually; the last option would be helpful for them.)
