Ability to staple different document formats
We need the ability to staple documents that are different document formats. Currently only pdfs can be stapled; different document formats can only be clipped.

Set indexes or variables to NULL in a workflow
Today, in a workflow, we can't set index values or variables to NULL.
We can "empty" this information but this is not optimal, it's not the same thing as passing them to NULL.The option is already present in the auto indexes

Change Magnifying Glass Icon
I suggest in the main UI changing the magnifying glass icon to either the file cabinet icon, or the file cabinet icon with a small magnifying glass in the upper corner. This could help people better understand how the trays and cabinets are different, since searching a tray happens by clicking the tray icon to the left. It could still say "Search" when you hover over the icon.

Date calculation in Form
Request to include Date calculation in field calculations in form designer. Example of Leave Application. When Employee applies for Leave and fills in Start Date and End Date Total Leave Days to be calculated based on End Date - Start Date. Another example could be Travel Request form when Employee fills Start Date and End Date.

Add Collaps Arrow at the vertical divide Bar
As a user, I would like to collapse the search area or viewer directly. This is especially useful when I use many columns or want to enlarge the document in the viewer. With a Collaps Arrow these areas would be enlarged immediately. This feature is available in many applications e.g. jira.

Need notification/pop-up when Connect to Mail credentials about to expire
We understand that the token for Connect to Mail expire no less than 45 days, and as long as 90 days. But there isn't any warning to let the administrator know their C2M configuration is about to expire and fail without updating the credentials.

Annotation text alignment
When writing annotations in right-to-left languages, it's important to align the text to the right, currently this is not possible, I suggest to add alignment to text preview dialog accessible form document viewer > Tools > Annotations > Preview.

Open DocuWare Webforms from DocuWare Mobile App
I have prospects and customers needing to open DW Webforms from the DW Mobile App. They need to fill out forms, with attached photos and signatures, in the field on mobile devices recording incidents, accidents, and inspection results.
Opening webforms (many different types of forms) directly in a mobile device browser is unmanageable.
Authentication and navigation when Logging onto the DW Web Client from a mobile device is confusing and greatly detracts from " APP " experience that today's workers expect.
Can we add a "FORMS" tab on the DW Mobile Client toolbar like the one on the Web Client.

Add back the Segoe Script font into DocuWare cloud for stamps
Prior to 7.4,we had the ability to select Segoe Script font for stamps. This handwriting like font was very useful for creating signature stamps where a true digital signature was not required.

Intelligent Indexing or Document Processing on Documents Stored from Email
When email watch folder is connected to DocuWare you can store to a tray or cabinet. From the connection you can ONLY index the document based on email properties (TO, FROM, TIME, SUBJECT, ETC)
I have standard format emails with the data I need in the emails I would like the ability to store directly to the file cabinet to trigger the workflow with a document that is fully indexed.
This could also be accomplished by allowing processing configurations to index emails.
As of now, the only way this is sorta possible is if it goes to the tray and…

Creating Work Environments
In the profile and settings, users can choose drawers, search masks, lists, etc., to display.
It would be useful, especially for users working across multiple business contexts, to have the ability to create work environments by grouping together the necessary masks based on the type of activity.
Each user could then personalize their work environments and select the one suitable for the task they need to perform.
It would also be nice if, upon logging in, DocuWare asks which work environment the user would like to work with and then opens the client with the associated masks.

Prevent confirmation of a task until the linked form has been saved ("send")
When using tasks, it is currently impossible to set a condition on the "Confirm" button for the task (yellow and accessible by default).
This can be very inconvenient, especially if you need the user to fill in a form (link in the task dialogue box) before confirming the task.- Context: task, created with the Workflow manager, containing a link in the dialog box to a form to be filled in.
- Procedure: the task is assigned to a specific role. the user attached to this role must complete and save the form before validating the task.

More and more customers ask not to display the annotations because they give DocuWare access to "visitors".
More and more customers ask not to display the annotations because they give DocuWare access to "visitors". They want to give them read access to see invoice type documents (Statutory auditor, chartered accountant). My clients do not want them to have access to annotations.

When viewing the 'Store' document history, display the cabinet & store dialog that was selected.
In order to investigate reported issues it's important to know which store dialog a document has been stored with.
End users don't always have this information.Currently the history entry shows 'store', the user who stored it and the date it was stored. Hovering reveals all index entries stored, but does not show the store dialog that was selected nor the cabinet it was stored to.
Please make this information visible to admins.

Allow workflows to be viewed between DocuWare versions
As a DocuWare engineer I often go back and forth between different customer exploring workflow issues.
As such I have to re-install DocuWare workflow designer several times a day to avoid the 'mismatch versions' error.I don't want to change the workflow, just view it; couldn't we make that backwards compatible?

Option to prevent documents deleted by a deletion policy, going to the trash (v7.8 >)
The new trash feature is very nice! But in some cases unwanted. Especially when (larger) volumes are deleted, that are not needed anymore, it makes no sense to put them into a trash record. A feature to have a checkbox in the 'Deletion policy configuration' which decides if the documents need to go to the trash or not.

The information of the seconds
The column "created on" would be good to see hour, minute and second of the creation of the file, so it would be easier to group different files added at the same time (invoice + cmr) that come in the same email.

Autofill form fields with Workflow variables
It would be helpful if we could autofill Form fields with data from Workflow. Example: If I generate a link/URL in Workflow to open a Form, the URL could contain Workflow variables with corresponding Fields which are then auto filled in the Form.
