Use a filecabinet table as datasource for filling a table field
In DW 7.8 we are able to use a LDS source to fill a table field. Please make this also possible from other sources, such as a FileCabinet.

Automatic Indexing of invoices in XML format
Automatic indexing of invoices in XML format.
Either with Intelligent indexing (Intelligent indexing should be able to read the document properties to assign them to each field or table.) or in a workflow that can read the document properties and assign each property to a field. For example, you can create a loop to index all the lines of the invoice and at the end of the workflow the client has his invoice with all the fields indexed without having to do anything.4 votes -
Add the ability (as an admin) to assume the identity of any user to test permissions & functionality without having to sign in as that user.
While configuring new features, or troubleshooting existing ones, it would be helpful to assume the identity of a user to test and debug different features, such as routes through a workflow, etc. For obvious security and auditing purposes, rather than tasks being logged as that user, it could read something like "Admin as UserName" in the logs.

Search in Database Fields
I would like to see the Search available in database fields as well, like in the other menus. This would make it easier to search for a field, especially if there are many database fields.

enable logging for webhooks
Implement logging for webhooks.

Document Tray custom columns (with Intelligent indexing)
When intelligent indexing enabled for particular Document Tray, please let us select custom columns so we can use Filter / Sort.
If the intelligent indexing knows the value, it should appear in the custom column.
Example: invoice processing - intelligent indexing automatically indexes "Supplier name". I want to be able to see "Supplier name" column in Document Tray and be able to use filter / sort in this column.4 votes -
Add a Multi-Decision workflow component
Presently we have a decision component, basically an If-Then-Else scenario. In order to check for multiple conditions, I end up with two or more cascading decision components until a condition is met, or the workflow falls through to some other state.
It would be very helpful to have a single decision component that would allow for multiple possible decisions and associated outcomes, and allow routing based on one of those decisions.

Signatures in Forms
Signing a form with an external signature pad such a Topaz would be very convenient in many customer-facing situations. Topaz provides integration tools. Signing forms with a mouse is too simple, requires that the customer access a computer or tablet and the result generally does not look good. Adding an electronic signature in a workflow is fine for remote signing but not convenient with a customer present. The Validated ID Biometric option is the best bet now, but a simple Topaz signature device would be easier.

Different User Interface for View-Only Permission per User
Hi, hope that we can have a separate user interface for users with view-only permission in DW. When a user has view-only permission, hope that we can hide the "Task", "Form", "Tray & "List" options in their user interface when they log in.

Add option to export csv to display table data and document data in same row with only one column header row.
It would be nice if the report export could display all column headers (table and document record) on the same row and only display once. Having a column header for each row of data makes it difficult to manipulate the data in the csv file. The extra column headers must be deleted.

Add workflow version as system index
It would be very helpful for troubleshooting and reprocessing workflow items if the workflow version a document is currently in could be available as a searchable system index. The workflow version is available in the document history but only at a document level.

Add text formatting to workflow tasks
My users want to bold and italicize important text for emphasis within workflow tasks. We currently can't do this. I think adding support for HTML <b> and <i> tags in workflow task Text descriptions could be useful.

Create public link of document
A possibility to create a public link of document in the client, so you can easily and quickly share a document with a third party. Maybe also add a possibility for public link expiration date.

Edit index data in a tray
Add the ability to edit index data in a tray. We can view it today but not edit. We should have same ability as in the Search Results Dialog.

Case sensitivity in select lists
Select lists allow me control exactly what I want my users to input into fields when storing but there is no case sensitivity unless I add a field mask. If I check the box to force the user to only pull from a select list then the formatting should follow. Right now some one could enter ATL, atl, Atl, atL...ect.

Add the functionality to put stamp only on document that match some index rules
Can you add the functionality to put stamp only on document that match some index rules ?
For exemple :
If Document Type = "Invoice" the i can put a stamp.
If not, the stamp doesn't appear in the list of stamp, or An error message is displayed to explain that i can't put stamp on the document because of the value of the index.4 votes -

Provide a search box for workflow tasks for users to quickly and easily find a particular task/document within that workflow as task lists can get very lengthy.

Allow Document Processing by Index Value Change
There are many times that it would be very useful to be able to send a document in a file cabinet out for run in a Document Processing instance. Let's say we have some data presented on a document in both barcode and plain text. First we try to capture by the barcode, and sometimes that doesn't work. We could then set a field value and send the document off for a shot at a Document Processing instance that tries for the text instead. In a similar way, sometimes an anchor won't read right and that throws off the capture.…
