automatically advance to the another field when a barcode is scanned in forms.
I have a form for inventory disposal. It has fields for asset control numbers. The asset control tags have barcodes but when I scan them the curser remains in the fields where I scanned the code. It would be nice if I could scan the barcode and have it advance to the next field.

Provide different sort settings for keyword fields
It seems to be the case, that if an MSSQL Database (DocuWare Cloud) is used, keyword field entries are automatically sorted in an alphabetical order after applying changes to them.
This is not the case for MySQL Databases. Sometimes the order/sorting of the entered values are important for the customer or special use cases. It would be very nice to have possibilites to select how or if the entered values should be sort/ordered.6 votes -
Show if a group was created from AD or is a DocuWare group under group configuration
It would be helpful if we could see how a group was created from the group configuration screen - AD or manually in DocuWare.

Transfer Funktion Ereignis basiert
Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man einen Transfer, ähnlich wie ein Auto-Index, ereignisbasiert starten könnte. Aktuell kann man nur minimal alle 10 Minuten Dokumente von einem Archiv in ein anderes transportieren, die gewisse Indexeinträge vorweisen können.
Besser wäre es diese Dokumente direkt zu transferieren, sobald ein bestimmter Index gesetzt wurde.
Hintergrund ist, dass wir gerne Dokumente aus Vorlagen automatisch bei bestimmten Ereignissen im Archiv erstellen (transferieren) lassen möchten.Vielen Dank.

Support for DocuWare Cloud Desktop Apps on Windows 365 Business/Enterprise environment
Many users will use Windows 365, the Cloud PC environment released from Microsoft this year. DocuWare Desktop Apps must also be supported for this environment.
This request includes support for virtual environments in Azure Desktop and AWS EC2 as well as Windows 365.

Add ability to unlock documents in cloud
Having the ability to unlock a document stored in a cloud version of DocuWare would be nice. Sometimes users leave documents locked which can cause an issue if the document is moving through a workflow.

i suggest that you put a zoom function in the document tracy
It would really be nice if I could see my documents in my tray instead of having to open them up one at a time and look at them., IF I have 10 doucments I would like to be able to read all of them.

User Last Login Date - Spotting Unused Accounts
It would be great to have a Last Login Date shown for the users. Once a system grows beyond a certain point it can be a real challenge to sort out what accounts are not in use anymore. This simple tag would make that task a breeze.

Workflow form validation with web service
When forms are complex, with many fields which requires cross check and external databases lookup, the validation is not achievable with a single condition.
Having the ability to call a REST or SOAP web service to perform validation (as in store dialogs), would greatly increase the application usability.2 votes -
DATABASE LOOKUP
This issue has been posted a lot of different ways but nothing has happened with it. I know Docuware has come up with their version of autoindexing and don't seem to understand why so many other softwares have standardize how it is done. You create a odbc connection and assign it to a data entry textbox. When someone keys a value and hits enter, it will populate all the other fields. This is the way it has always been done. This version runs after the fact which doesn't let the person indexing compare the results to the image they are…

Set custom boxes background
Some users have differents research boxes in the same tray. But these boxes are very similar (sames fields with 1 or 2 prefilled fields).
They often don't see they are not in the right box for their research.

DW Cloud - Local Data Connector - 1000 Line Limit is BAD THING
It's common to reference a Local Data Connector data source and have the Autoindex routine be set to create a data record if there is no matching record. Especially common in verifying a migration to find items that got missed. It's invariable that some docs won't come over, and this is a great way to find them. It's common for these to sometimes be a ton of records(often > 1,000,000). In 7.3 the system will only use 1,000 records from the remote data at a time, even if the query limit in the LDC config file is set to 10,000…

Arithmetic Expression in Forms
Allow the use of arithmetic expressions in forms. This would be used to either populate cabinet fields with form fields or work out calculations on the forms.

Create an Admin message function
Create the ability for an Admin to post a login message for users to alert them to updates, new information, or whatever an Admin wants their users to know. Just a pop-up that can be closed by the user after reading it.

Intelligent indexing and colour blindness
14% of the Spanish population suffers from colour blindness (about 3.7 million Spaniards according to other sources, and an estimated 8% of the world's population).
This is no small number. By extrapolation, 14% of Spanish Docuware users live with this problem. It would not be unreasonable to think that a customisation of colours would benefit and please many Docuware users.
That is why we propose an improvement: From 'Profile and Settings' the user can customise the red, yellow and green colours that are presented in the current interface.

Add an "approved" stamp icon on the Windows title bar. It would save about six mouse clicks.
By adding an icon on the title bar to approve a doc, it would save six mouse clicks, or hundreds per day.

the ability to link index fields on a form before the form is completed
Sometimes there is already data in Docuware that should be visual on a form, I'm thinking of a work order, for example. If you could generate the form where the customer data or the work order is already filled in, then that is very clear to the user who then has to fill in the work order with, for example, the materials used or hours worked.
Now you can only folder this after the form is linked back in Docuware.6 votes -
Implement a test button for autoindex, deletion policy and transfer
Add a test or simulation feature to Autoindex, Deletion policy and transfer with a counter or viewer of what documents are being affected by the rule we are creating. Easy way to prevent making a bad mistake.

Cloud Upgrades
Major releases do not offer any possibility for the customer to test with customer software before it is updated. This software is not using industry standards or best practices. There must be a method for the customer to test a major release on a smaller subset of client machines before the major release is put into effect.
