  1. Add a Store from desktop/folder integration like the Store from Outlook

    Please add the ability to right click a document on the desktop or in a folder and store it in DocuWare just like the Outlook integration where I can right click on an email, select the store dialog I want to use, and send the item directly to DocuWare with the proper indexing without having to drag it to the tray first. Just like Outlook, I'd like to be able to select if the item will be copied or moved when setting up the store dialog.

  2. Search for search dialogs..

    I have 160 file cabinets and most of them have multiple dialogs. It would be really helpful to group the dialogs by cabinet or to be able search for dialogs when you click on "Searches"

  3. Change the workflow configuration so that if you change a data assignment it doesn't clear the previous configuration

    I have a workflow that takes data from a table field and enters it into a document from a merge form. The workflow loops through the rows in the table field and then depending on what is in the first column it determines where to put the rest of the data. The arithmetic expression is the same for everything but it is cleared out when I change the form field to be entered. Then I have to re-enter it for each condition. That is a time consuming pain.

  4. Please make it easy to change a checkbox to a multiple choice in forms

    When working with forms there is the option for a checkbox and the option for multiple choice. Currently if you use one and then want to change it you have to delete it and start over. It would be nice if you could use the same thing for both with a checkbox option for only allow 1 answer or allow multiple answers.

  5. Allow the example to be optional instead of required for field masks.

    In some cases is its is not desirable to provide and example to the user in the store dialog when using a field mask. Additionally, requiring an example to be displayed to the user for each mask limits the re-use of a particular field mask.

  6. Option to replace a stored PDF

    stored a PDF in DocuWare.
    Customer send a new version. Can we get a replace option. Right mouse click: load new version...
    Or drag n drop on a stored document.
    This will also be great for office documents.

  7. Deny users to create a "Personal Stamp".

    Currently, Any user can create a personal stamp and update the document(s) metadata without any validation.

    From the Configuration page, "Configure Stamp" permission under functional profile doesn't affect "Personal Stamps", and the user will still have the permissions to create stamps and use it.

    In the case we have a workflow process with one task contain two decisions (Approved, Rejected), the decision will affect "status" filed to be updated as (approved, rejected).

  8. put a button to create a new form tab

    With 7.3 there is a forms tab next to tasks and searches. From that tab you can go to any form or edit any form for which you have rights. It would be nice if you have the rights to create a form to have a button to create a new form from that page rather than going into configurations.

  9. Desktop Apps Import - Import Jobs - Ability to categorize/sort/filter/search

    We have more than 50 import configurations, Some times the import fails, sometimes it stops, it would be nice to display the import jobs by a category, show stopped/failing jobs at the top of the list, being able to sort/filter/search import jobs, (condense the job list), export the job list to CSV for documentation, export the job list for re-import on another pc.

  10. Need a way to get a list of users in DocuWare that have been assigned a license

    In workflow I have a drop down for users to assign a task for approval. Currently I can only show all users that are setup in the domain even if they don't use docuware. I need a group of active users that have a license assigned. I don't want to manage a list when the data is already there.

  11. Import users to DW cloud from CSV

    HI, sometimes we get cloud cases with many users Without the possibility to import users from AD.
    It is tiresome to create 100 users+ from scratch.
    It should really be possible to do a batch import of users with name and email from CSV.

  12. Choose if a File Cabinet Document is brought in As Stored or converted to PDF

    Docuware has been inconsistent with Trays. Some versions convert all documents going into the tray from the file cabinet to PDF and current versions do not.

    There are good reasons for both.

    In the case of a legacy system that was once all TIFF images this is very helpful to bring them up-to-date.

    In the case of loosing the ability to maintain a records integrity, it should not be allowed.

    If you allowed administration to choose a Trays ability to convert or not would allow both.

    I have a table field with two columns when I should only need 1. I have a date field and a time field. There is no option for a datetime field.

  14. With New LDAP Synchronization, add more options for Loginname.

    With New Synchronization, add more options for Loginname. Currently only samaccountname, userpricipalname, and userpricipalprefix can be used. We suggest also allowing the "mail" property because it provides consistency with the Email address used.

  15. allow multiple form fields to be indexed in the same keyword index field

    I would like to be able to index multiple form fields in the same keyword index field. I have a form with a list of choices in a checkbox field. One of those checkboxes is "Other" When other is selected I have another field come up so that the user can enter their own choice. I would like to index that as well in the keyword field.

  16. Workflow Manual Reassigns - Capture Email Message in Addition to Subject

    This comes directly from a client, and he claims that this is quite important to him. So, it's also very important to me.

    In the workflow history when someone manually reassigns a task and chooses to have an email sent only the Subject is captured. In our case the message was quite important and not having it in the history caused quite the bad situation.

    Can we get the Message added to the workflow history for the reassign, too?

  17. Add workflow activity to run scripts or exe.

    It would be nice if there were a workflow activity that allows a script or exe to be called along with the ability to provide parameters. This could be very powerful and would provide more options for integrations.

  18. Autocomplete like all other document management sytems when indexing

    I'm sure this has been suggested but I can't seem to find it. When you drop a file into a tray and select a store dialog, I would expect to be able to link a database connection to a field you enter to perform a database lookup and populate all the other fields like KOFAX, FORTIS, FILEBOUND, CAPTERRA, ONBASE and probably a lot more that I haven't used. My understanding is Docuware lets you enter the first value and save it. Somehow a auto index sees it on save and will do the database lookup and populate the fields. Not…

    Feedback received that if a form has a check box and the line next to the check box goes onto a second line, once the form is completed, the second line gets pushed down to overlap the next line item.

  20. Document Processing From Email

    Document processing can scan a folder to store but it would be great if this could be intergrated to the Outlook watch folder.

    I would like a folder in Outlook, ie "Invoices", to be scanned and automatically stored then document processing detect this and auto-fill and fill the fields and store the document away.

    Currently like we have with the "Folder" option in Document Processing.
