Process Documents in Archive again with Document Processing
If you update parameters or fields within document processing profiles and you want to update all "Matching" Documents in the archive accordingly, you should be able to send Documents of an Archive to Document Processing. (for example from within a result list)
The updateable (changed / new) values should then be accepted or discarded from the requesting user.2 votes -
Notification Time Frame Based on Curent Date
I can create a list with the logic to show documents that are on or before a certain number of days out. It would be nice to be able to create a notification using the same logic. I can create a notification with a specific date, but I want to create the notification based on a time frame before or after the current date.

provide a method of public access to docuware repositories
We are getting many requests both from existing customers and prospects for the ability to provide access to public record or read/only documents to a pool of users. Many are municipalities. Currently there is no way to share a pool of read only users or a way to accomplish this with Docuware cloud as far as I know of so we have to recommend alterntatives.

create a datetime field in forms
In forms there is a date field but that puts the time part of the datetime field in the database as 00:00:00 We have out of town expense reports that calculate the time to determine if meals should be paid. So if you leave early enough you get reimbursed for breakfast for example. Or if you get back early enough you don't get reimbursed for dinner. Currently use a spreadsheet and then print it to docuware but I would like to create a form so we could fill it out on our phones and take pictures of receipts to attach…

Download activity in workflow. Similar to emailing the document
We need a new activity in the workflow designer. The ability to download a file to a UNC path or FTP site, in original format, PDF with or without annotation.
Example: After DocuWare has processed, and users have approved it in a workflow, the document needs to be saved externally to be ingested into another system. common for lawyers and court systems, also banking applications.10 votes -
Looping form merge
Fil the same forms more than once per single submission. Example Parent is registering multiple children for school. They choose "3" children. We can use behaviors to open up the questions for each child, name, grade, etc. It would be nice if I could fill the same forms three times, one per child because all the parent information etc is the same. Please just add some workflow logic to how many times to fill the form.

Be able to arrange the mobile view manually on forms or have a separate design page for it
i have noticed that docuware automatically sets the form width on the mobile view by the widest element then stretched all the fields / drop downs etc to fit. problem i have is that people on the mobiles have to scroll sideways on their mobiles to click the drop down and i cant reduce the size of some of the elements causing this as they need to be the size they are for when it is exported as a pdf so it doesnt look funny or out of proportion. is there any wat to customize the mobile view? also if…

Be able to know the space of each file cabinet
Right now we can know the system space, but not the file cabinets space. If we want to know which is the biggest file cabinet, we should open a ticket with DocuWare Support.

Be able to assign notifications to user groups
It is a bit unconfortable to asign notification for each user. It would be easier and more confortable to asign it to a group.

Configurable Output and Indexing settings for each Attach File field
Make it possible to store file attachments separately, instead of always clipping them to the main form(s). For example, in a W-9 Vendor Signup form, we may prompt the vendor to attach their Certificate of Liability Insurance. Instead of clipping this attachment to the W-9 form, we would like to store this document separately with a document type of "Certificate of Liability Insurance".
Currently, every attachment for every File Attach field gets clipped to the Web Form or to EVERY merged form that is configured. This is rarely the desired behavior and results in duplicate documents.

Alert for a Global Tray when documents get added
Would be super helpful if you can send an email alert to a specific address when new files were added to the tray. we have a an assigned employee that files our docs for us and an alert would be helpful to know files have been added to files, rather than having to keep checking the tray every 1/2 hour manually.

Sort fields alphabetically when index data is modified
When an operation is performed to change the index of a field in several records The fields do not appear in order and it is more complicated when you have a large number of fields

When I search for a document I have the context menu to see the history of everything that happened in the life of the document.

freeze columns in table field
I have a table field that has a column for every day of the month that keeps track of therapists sessions with clients. A workflow assigns them a task and at the end of each session they put the time in for that client for that day. The issue is that by the middle of the month they have to scroll over and the client name is off the page. It would be nice if they could keep the column on the far left and still scroll over to the columns on the right like a spreadsheet.

Allow DocuWare Printer to be installed for USA with Letter as default
It make sense to allow or set the default paper size to LETTER for all USA installations. This could be auto-sensed by the installer or a check box on the selection screen.
Bothe manual and silent install methods should have this feature

Allow turning off Quick Copy function
The Quick Copy function can be useful but it is not always desirable and can lead to errors if people make unnecessary copies of documents. It should be possible to turn this function off for specific users or roles.

Improve auto index speed times by running queries for each batch rather than each file
I have a local data connection setup with my ERP software, and auto index figured on a file cabinet. We are running into weird errors where auto index is failing to run and I recently discovered that auto index runs the query for each file rather than by batch.
I'm seeing query times upwards of 7 seconds per file. If we store in this particular file cabinet 100 files at a time, it would take 12 minutes to process all that data. However, it could only take as little as 7 seconds to run the query once and assign all…

archive data
Ability to Archive documents in each of the file cabinets, to reduce storage space. For example, ability to zip or condense a file size. Yet we will still need to be able to access them through the application. Currently on 7.3
